- Clean Energy: This lightsaber is powered by the spirit ichor stored within the gemstone, which also enabled it to draw power from the natural connection to the spirit realm. It does not rely on any mechanical power source or chemical power pack.

The use of kyber crystals in magical rituals among the Witches of Dathomir date back to before the Clone Wars, though lightsabers have not traditionally featured among the warriors of the various Clans. and Caedyn Arenais , shortly before a Jedi excursion for kyber crystals.Adapted from the traditional weapon of the Jedi Temple Guard, the Mistwalker Lightsaber is designed to mimic the traditional zhaboka, blending the modern practice with traditional martial arts and the sacred customs of the Zabrak culture that became part of the Dathomirian warrior ethos. Unlike the Jedi, who view each lightsaber as a unique representation of the individual's journey along the Jedi Path, to the Mistwalkers the lightsaber was a tool or implement -- no different from their energy bows or fighting pikes. Traditional warriors preferred their zhaboka over what was viewed as an off-worlder or outlander weapon; however, it was popularized among the younger members of the Clan through the stories and accounts of Jorah zos Darnus as he traveled with
Jerek Zenduu
and other Jedi,The total length of the active lightsaber was comparable to a full-sized zhaboka, though it was lighter than it otherwise appeared -- an effort to achieve the same balance as with zhaboka so that Nightsister and Nightbrother warriors of the Clan would find it easier to adapt their traditional martial arts to the Jedi-like weapon. Due to its length, when not in use the shroud would collapse in on itself, before folding in half. The compact hilt was then either carried in a sheath or on a belt connector, as with Jedi practice.
The lightsaber blade color resembled the spirit ichor and appeared shrouded by a fine mist.
