Miss Me?

He let out a heavy sigh. It was true. This wasn't his way. Nobility, royalty, bloodlines, fancy symbols and households that eclipsed nearly every home he'd ever seen. Kurt wasn't used to it, and in all honesty he didn't like it. Everything in Jamie's world made him feel incredibly...small. He was out of place here, completely and totally. There was no shame in admitting that, but he didn't want to let Jamie down. He knew that a part of her would always call this home, and oddly enough that made him a bit sad.

"You're right." Kurt admitted quietly. "It's not me."

His hand made a small motion to everything around them. "I've only ever been in a building like this twice. Once was to deliver a package to Miss Arceneau, and the other was when the Hutt's invited me to their palace after winning my third Boonta Eve."

Both those places had been slightly fancier then this estate, but not by much. The Hutts for one had their own style, and Miss Arceneau mostly decorated with a more simple style. The size of those palaces had been bigger though, and that was what mostly had stuck with Kurt throughout the years. Never in his lifetime had he thought he would end up sleeping in one of these kinds of places, never-mind dating someone who lived inside.

"Well, now it's your third."

Rolling over on top of him the girl sat up, her bottom resting on his waist. "Just think of it like another part of the Spira trip. A big hotel room for a couple of nights, one that I just so happen to own, sort of." She leaned to one side, pulling free the ribbon that held the bed curtains to the post, and again on the other side, encompassing the two in an almost entirely opaque shelter. "There. Is that better?" Jamie said with a smile as she leaned over him. "Now the bed is comfortable and isolated." She smirked, rolling off of Kurt and again laying beside him, her fingers tracing up his arm, to his cheek, before she drew herself close to kiss him.

"Besides, it could be worse, we could be running away from a hungry Manka Cat."

A more serious look began to crowd her expression as they laid together for another minute. Nothing concerning, but, more thoughtfully expressive. "I know that all of this" She said, waiving a hand around in a circle. "Is a bit much to take in. And I know that I'm not the easiest person to deal with at times. But I do mean it when I say that I love you, and love being with you." The blonde turned, resting her head against the pillow beneath her, looking up towards the ceiling. "I just hope you understand that I don't need to live like a queen. I just want to feel like I'm your queen."

He smiled for a second, letting a small smirk linger on his lips as he half rolled over to face her. There was a calm sort of beauty to her right now, a serene stillness that one would expect from a vast untouched lake. It was calming, almost overwhelmingly so. In that moment Kurt felt like he simply could have fallen asleep forever as long as she stayed beside him.

As a man who did not often sleep well, it was a testament to what Jamie meant to him.

"My Queen, huh?" His fingers slipped over her stomach and half around her, curling at her hip and pulling her towards him so that she ended up on her side facing him. He pressed a small kiss on the tip of her nose, then another on her cheek, then a small peck upon her lips, lingering there for half a second.

"I can do that." He kissed her again, longer this time as his arm slipped around her to pull her closer. "I can do that."

The words were repeated as he gently nuzzled into her neck.

Her face reddened a bit, lips moving to meet his when she could, though once he got into the small space by her neck she couldn't help but laugh. A pair of hands ran along his sides, careful to avoid the still healing back, and into his dark, thick hair. "You can, huh?" She teased, lightly pulling at his hair. "Are you sure? What exactly are your qualifications? Do you have references? We should run a thorough background check." The pulling got a bit more aggressive this time, though she quickly returned to lightly teasing his locks, twirling her fingers through it gently."I don't know if you're quite up to the task yet, farm boy." The girl had a wide grin on her face by now, her tongue pressed between her teeth to hold herself back from giggling.

In his arms she wiggled a bit, not exactly attempting to get away, but his fingers did manage to tickle her quite a bit as they moved about along her stomach and waist.

"Besides, with that back injury you need to be extra careful."

She knew she was tempting fate at this point. Kurt was not one easily deterred once he decided what he wanted, but it was a fun game to her, especially now, to play with fire.

"Oh I'm sure I can manage." Kurt said in answer. His fingers would drift for a moment more, sailing over her skin until they came to a stop over just the hem of her pants. They lingered there for a moment before his thumbs slipped beneath the cloth, his lips pressing against the skin of her neck as he began to speak again.

"It can't be that hard." He actually had no idea what made a Queen on Naboo, or even how they were treated. All of that was a complete mystery to him. "I'm sure I can figure you everything you need."

His fingers pressed into her skin. "Get you tea, keep you safe, make sure you're warm every night...get on my knee's every now and again."

A wide smirk fell on his lips as he gently bit her neck, pulling her into a tight embrace and completely ignoring the slight hitch of pain in his back.

A tiny whimper was silenced by the biting of her lip as she pulled even more forcefully on his hair.

"Oh? But there's so much work to making the tea just right, you have to brew it slow, ... yes, .... and wait until you hear it scream .... That's when you know it's gone and finished."

The girl began to slowly wiggle about, her nails dragging along the back of Kurt's neck to his shoulders. "But once you've gone and made it nice and hot you're not done yet. But I'm sure you can figure out the rest if I show you just how I like it." The innuendo was nearly palpable. It wasn't even something she was particularly good at, but this time it just so happened to roll off her tongue as if gifted the words by some unseen force.

"You'll have to keep me safe, protect me from cold nights, -" She began kissing his cheek, moving her way closer to his lips even as he tried to bite at her neck. "From Manka Cats, pirates. It's a tough job."

"I'm sure I can manage." Kurt said quietly as he kissed her again, his lips brushing against hers.

Aside from the Innuendo, Kurt did wonder about the future at times. He thought about the difference between himself and Jamie. How she wanted to do something, how she wanted to better herself, the galaxy, about how she wanted to learn and move forward. It was so...different then him. Kurt didn't mind it if course, it only made him love her more in fact, but it did make him wonder about what the future was bring. He couldn't stay on The Messa forever, running away and chasing his own version of fun.

He was slowly coming to realize that.

"As long..." Kurt continued as he pressed his lips hard against her, fingers slipping lower and slowly beginning to tug away cloth. "...As you know how to properly reward me."

Hard work did need recognition after all.

Oxygen was rapidly drawn in between teeth as Kurt maneuvered his hands. There was a small arch to her back, lifting from the sheet beneath her. Small hands grabbed two fistfuls of fabric on either side of her, pulling tightly on it to halt herself from making an abrupt, loud noise that might require some bit of investigation by her folks. The two of them were acutely aware of just how.... vocal Jamie could be at times. It was Kurt's fault, really, given his handling of her and, well, his business.

"I..." She started, losing her breath as she attempted to speak. Blue eyes stared into Kurt's own, a small trembling of her lip accompanying the gaze. "...think I can do that."

Releasing part of the death grip her right hand had on a section of the sheets her fingers traced up along Kurt's leg.

There was a pause and a gentle smile. "I think I owe you a reward anyway for Spira."

As he slowly opened his eyes again he remembered something about someone saying 'no funny business' before they got to the manor, but in all honesty he'd forgotten about it some time ago. He frowned slightly as a ray of light broke through the odd curtains surrounding the bed, a yawn pulling at his lips as he half stretched. He found himself weighed down by Jamie laying half on top of him, her warm skin caressing him as he wiggled slightly.

"Guess we fell asleep." He said more to himself then to her, his eyes casting down to look at his girlfriend.

A soft snore passed from her lips as her chest rose and fell, her fingers curling slightly as she slowly wake up from his movements. He watched her for just a moment with a pleased expression, his own fingers running the length of her spine in a soft caress. There was a simplicity to this, and even though they were laying in a bed twice as big as his own room back on Tatooine, he felt oddly at home.

It wasn't because of the Mansion of course, or the weird curtains.

It was only Jamie.

She was all that he needed to feel at home, whether it was here, The Messa, or anywhere else. He didn't particularly care...and slowly he came to the realization that she really didn't either. He knew that she felt the exact same way he did, and that...that made him happy.

Before her eyes even opened a rather heavy yawned managed to escape her, pressing her chest against Kurt's as her eyes pressed further closed until she'd managed to regain control of her facial muscles. One hand lifted, rubbing her eyes free of the groggy feeling, allowing her to finally open them and take a look around, surveying their situation. For a moment she felt disoriented, unsure of where she even was. It took only a moment for her bearings to straighten, and she looked to Kurt with a pleased smile. She'd heard his words, but they took a bit to register with her.

"I suppose we did." She finally answered. Brushing away one of the curtains the blonde reached for her watch on the nightstand, checking the time. "We've been up here over two and a half hours."

Thankfully she'd managed to keep her... noises, under control. The plush pillows were fantastic for muffling certain involuntary sounds. It was fortunate, given that Kurt seemed to enjoy her inability to control them. In fact, it seemed to her that he used them as motivation, not that she was complaining in the slightest. Jamie only wanted to be respectful of her family, and that meant maintaining some sort of control over the situation as best she could.

"Think they know?" He couldn't imagine they didn't.

Oddly enough, Kurt felt almost like a teenager again.

Tatooine wasn't exactly the best place in the galaxy for...fraternization. Half of the girls his age had been aliens who were completely physiologically incompatible and the other half had been harpies who all seemed to enjoy trying to kill him, only during the Classic's had Kurt ever actually managed to have any fun. During that time however he recalled a lot of sneaking around and trying to hide from his parents, something that his father liked to remind him of almost every time he came home.

He frowned for a moment.

"Maybe we should climb out the window..." Kurt said almost instinctively. "Act like we've been outside this entire time."

The Courier was very agile, he could probably manage it, and god only knew that Jamie was far more flexible then he was.

A long, dead stare followed Kurt's words, the only motion being the occasional blink of the girl's eyelids. Kurt was suggesting that by somehow climbing out of the second story balcony to the ground, and walking back inside that it might somehow fool her parents into believing that anything they might have heard earlier wouldn't have been the two of them. That somehow Jamie's closed bedroom door wasn't evidence enough that the two were inside. If that weren't enough, Jamie was quite possibly the galaxy's worst liar. No, that was a terrible idea on asteroid levels.

"No. There's so much wrong with that plan I don't even want to list off all of them." Jamie rubbed her eyes with her thumb and index finger, halting at the bridge of her nose, thinking. "We fell asleep. I can't imagine we'll be outright asked if we, you know. My dad will know if I'm lying. He's had 18 years of practice. We'll just say we were exhausted and fell asleep. That's not lying."

She sat up, stretching her arms. "Come on." Pulling away the curtains she tied the two on her side back to the posts before collecting her clothes. "We can maybe go into the city if you want." Her eyes wandered over Kurt, a glistening smile painting her expression, her attention shifting from Kurt's upper body to his lower, and then back. Index finger caught between her teeth, shaking her slightly curly blonde hair about before turning around to dress.

He smiled at her, staying in place for the moment and simply letting his eyes follow as she collected her clothing and quickly dressed herself.

A large part of him wanted to make the suggestion that they could simply stay in bed for the rest of the day, rest, relax one another, simply unwind from their time on Spira and the trip they had taken here, but he knew that likely wouldn't fly. He had no idea what time of day it was, but if Jamie suggested they still had time to go back to the city then he guessed it was probably only a little bit into the afternoon. That was likely given when they'd arrived.

He let out another yawn, then slowly dragged himself from his place on the bed.

The Courier always found getting out of bed to be the most difficult of tasks, even after a full nights sleep.

He found that removing himself from any sort of comfort to be excruciatingly difficult, though it helped to have a beautiful girl to chase after, which was of course exactly what he did. Before Jamie could get too far away from him Kurt sat up in the bed, his hands darting forward and quickly grabbing her, pulling her back towards the bed and into his lap.

Back onto the now unmade, tossed up bed she went. Right into Kurt's lap. A bit of a giggle crept its' way out, her head turning to look at him with his hands around her waist, shirt having only made it over her head with her arms through each sleeve. The rest of the fabric still lingered above her chest, the process having been abruptly interrupted. "Yes?" It was hard not to smile around him. Everything she'd ever felt like she was missing out on, sharing a unique bond with someone else was fulfilled by Kurt. Even when he bugged her Kurt knew just how to make her smile, even if she didn't want to. Even if she was furious. "What is it?" She finally reached up, pulling the rest of the shirt over her torso to her waist, though her shorts had managed to fall once again to the floor when he grabbed hold of her.

The blonde picked her feet up from the floor, turning herself around and sliding them beneath the sheet as she leaned against him, her head on his shoulder.

"Are you trying to hold me hostage in my own bed?"

"Maybe." He said as his lips brushed against the top of her head.

"It'd be easy, I think." Probably not. With the force she was faster then him, maybe stronger, and she was certainly smarter. Kurt was at his heart a flyboy. He was good enough shot with a blaster, but reality he wasn't meant for any sort of hand to hand fighting. Jamie on the other hand? She'd been training for a few months to do just that. Of course, none of that really mattered in terms of holding her in the bed...Kurt had other applicable skills there. "Plus...I don't think you'd mind."

He slid lower and kissed her neck. "Right?"

The idea of just staying in bed...wasn't a bad one.

They had other days to go and see the city, though eventually they would have to go back to reality the idea didn't really appeal to Kurt just yet. He was happy to be here, Jamie in his arms, warm blankets just around them...everything in the right place.

"I wouldn't mind." She said plainly. "Though I don't think it would quite be a good use of our time here."

She'd already broken her own rule of no funny business. The fact that Kurt hadn't yet mentioned it was a bit surprising in and of itself. But the fact was that once in a while she simply gave in to her own desires despite her better judgement. That being said, she was rather adamant about getting up. Pulling back slightly from Kurt she tapped his nose and smiled. "Come on, we've gotta get up."

Besides, Kurt had spurred her interest in finding a new camera, and when she got excited over something it was difficult for her to take her mind off of it. Not only that, but the city center had so many vendors that she was interested in seeing, as well as if Kurt saw anything he liked.

Kurt let out a groan, but eventually he managed to drag himself upright at the very least. Part of him wondered if Jamie would start using the force on him to get him to move faster out of bed, but he quickly realized that was unlikely given that he still had an injury. He smiled for half a moment, considering playing up the slashes on his back to get out of doing anything, but the excited smile on her face made him second guess that almost immediately.

"Finnnnnnne." He said eventually. "But only because you're cute."

Kurt pulled himself up and out of bed, half scooping up his clothes along the way and pulling them on before Jamie could object or do anything else. If they were going to go...it was best not to get distracted again. Before long Kurt was fully clothed, though his shirt was on inside out.

"Come on, Gorgeous. Let's get going." He didn't want to waste any time.

There was still quite a bit of Naboo to see, and although he doubted that they could see all of the City today, he at the very least wanted to get a look at something if they were going to be wandering around.

Jamie gave Kurt a quick nod of approval, pulling the rest of her shirt down and stepping back into the pair of dark hued shorts she'd been wearing earlier. Snapping up the datapad from her nightstand she quickly made a few clicks about the screen, before finally pressing the sleep button which turned off the display.

"All set. We should have a driver here in about ten minutes."

The cab service that was assigned to this area was a bit pricey, but worth the extra credits. They were fast, polite, and never minded waiting for their passengers if they decided to make a quick detour. The fares weren't calculated by distance or time. They were flat rates. Though Jamie wasn't about to disclose that to Kurt, she intended on paying for this part of their trip.

"I just need to freshen up a bit."

She flashed a smile towards Kurt, making her way just outside the bedroom door to the bathroom adjacent to the room.

"We don't have a speeder we can take?" Kurt called after her as he sat himself back down on the bed, laying down and closing his eyes as Jamie freshened herself up.

"A bike maybe?" He questioned. "Something for just the two of us?"

A taxi seemed...well needlessly expensive. Those kinds of services didn't exist on Tatooine at all, though of course Kurt had used them before. He'd always gotten along with the drivers, but most of the time he found the journey to be entirely too expensive. He'd much rather take his own vehicle, even if it was rickety and a bit broken down. A yawn pulled at his lips as he thought about it, wondering if Jamie's parents had something that they could use to get to the city.

Her father seemed to like him well enough...perhaps he could ask him.

That seemed like a good idea.

Jamie paused what she was doing, hand full of hair in one hand, brush in the other, and looked out of the doorway to Kurt.

"Yes. Of course we do. My parents have four speeders and two bikes. The bikes are my fathers toys. He doesn't let anyone touch them."

Looking back the girl continued on with what she was doing, which was attempting to get the very unwilling snarls out of her hair. Her head dipped to the side as she pulled on the brush with surprising determination. There was a few wincing expressions and a couple of incoherent grunts, but she eventually emerged the victor.

"The speeders I'm not allowed to drive either. You've seen how I navigate a starship, do you think I'm any better with a speeder?" Jamie's father had tried to teach her once, nearly gave himself a heart attack. "That's rhetorical by the way, don't answer that!" She shouted the last bit from the bathroom to make sure he heard her and before he could reply. A few cabinets and drawers opening and closing later, with momentary pauses in between for deodorant, body spray, lotions, floral hair clip and she re-emerged to present herself to Kurt.

She didn't look too much different in all reality, smelled heavenly, and had place the modest pinkish teal clip off the side of her temple in a decorative fashion. Her hair was noticeably straight though, unlike her typical waviness that she sported. That was key.

"I just figured I'd call a cab so to avoid the headache of hearing my dad tell me I'm a terrible driver."
