As the end time was listed as 5:15PM EST, Subach-Innes wins the Animus-class Assault Courier; the deal is accepted.

ICE and Rave noted that Subach had cheated, somehow changing its bid after the fact. They would have to look into better security -- perhaps next time she would talk to SSB. As it was, she decided to let the bid stand. It suited her to have Savan owe her another one.

Danger would review the bids in the ledger.

She knew exactly that [member="Enigma"] had changed her bid from 27 mil... to 37.

Guess what she just done did?

Pissed off the Trade Queen.

Subach Ines was about to face the full financial and clout fury of Danger Arceneau herself.

She would see the end of Subach Ines if it took every penny, favor, and Tion bit of clout she had.

No one does Danger Arceneau wrong.

No body.

Aless went home knowing Subach-Innes was never going to provide the support, upgrades or low production costs she would have. [member="Enigma"] was not known for her generosity or friendship towards any other individual currently present. As it was the Mnenchei that built the RRDI empire, it was the Mnenchei - beings like Aless - that would not forget the transgression. Both edges of the sword now faced against Subach-Innes Corporation.

Danger would work quickly. She heard while back that [member="Rave Merrill"] had done some digging on Subach Ines. She would need everything she could about their factories, who was leading them, their employees... key interests.

This was going to be one bloody Corporate war.

Highly encrypted in a Tion transmission.

[ Miz Merrill, if I might be so keen on getting a favor from you...
I need everything you got on Subach Ines if possible. ]
To [member="Jared Ovmar"], she would send another message.

[ About those dinner plans? How about in the middle of baklava... we discuss how to destroy Subach Ines as desert?]

[member="Alli Wren"] had given a legitimate bid of 30,000,000 prior to the Subach bid of 37 million. With that as such, Subach sent a message to the auctioneers indicating that since the 37 million bid was a glitch, whatever that company's name was should have the specs.

Any Arceneau attempt on Subach stuff would certainly cause trouble in ways no one would imagine, after all, and Circe really didn't want to have to become a praying woman again after the initial Weedkiller.

[member="Rave Merrill"]

[member="Danger Arceneau"]

Patience, Miz Arceneau. I'm giving our mutual acquaintance a short-term chance to come clean and make amends. We've all been prone to foolishness here or there. I'll send you the file shortly, but first let's see how this plays out.

The Subach message stated clearly that there had likely been a glitch in the system. As such, Alli Wren's prior bid of thirty million credits was the last and highest bid. Were her bid glitched too, the resulting winner would be [member="Danger Arceneau"] at twenty seven one hundred credits.

And if she still went after Subach after all this went down, Circe would have to pray to the gods of her people for assistance.

Patience?

Oh that was asking for a volcano to halt an eruption. Calm and the perfect hostess Danger Arceneau would be, but once that toggle was flipped, as Lord Protector [member="Ayden Cater"] found out for himself, there was little and we me very little, that would calm that furious storm of her wrath.

[member="Sasha Santhe"] had told her on Etti that the new owner and CEO of Subach Ines was none other than Circe Savan herself. At the news, Danger had seen to keep quiet. Let bygones be bygones. The past on Kamino and on Ryloth would stay the past.

That is, until Subach would cross her again.

There would be no patience. There would be no calming of this storm. It took the Lord Protector a few hours to have her cool down and then call her to make amends on Naboo to get her to see a measure of reason.

This time... oh no, there will be no stopping her.

[member="Danger Arceneau"] was on site; Rave was too. For a moment, for the sake of the auction and to keep Danger from doing something she might regret, Rave considered attempting to alter the magnate's mind. Arceneau didn't have the Force; Rave was a Master.

But that would be a whole 'nother level of stupid. She discarded the idea almost at once and chose another method, in hopes of at least blunting Arceneau's rage. Sheathing it would be impossible.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to a serious error, the Subach-Innes bid is not accepted. As the next highest bid has been withdrawn, the highest bid stands at 21,000,000cr from Arceneau Trade Company. ATC wins the blueprints and production rights of the Animus-class Assault Courier.

At this point, she didn't feel much like sending the file, but she'd promised she would send the file, and one did not cross Danger Arceneau. So she sent the file and wondered why she felt a twinge of something like guilt.

The Jared Ovmar looked at his new message and at the fury running 'round the auction. It seemed Circe had done it again- Merrill was trying her best to do damage control, but in a land of lions, a hyena has no part and should be exiled to the shadowlands forever and ever.

So he ticked a new message up and sent it flying to [member="Danger Arceneau"].

[You know me, darling. I am always up for a game if you still want to.] As he sent that, the Sith Lord gave an apologetic shrug aimed at [member="Rave Merrill"]. One does not try to halt a proud Lioness in her crusade of justice and righteousness.

From across the auction hall, a tall man in an iron mask began to walk toward Jared Ovmar. If the glint in his lens-shrouded eyes was any indication, he had words.

Ovmar had just sent his message to Arceneau and had been planning on playing a few more games on his mobile, when he noticed a guy with an iron mask approaching him in a menacing way.

The Sith Lord, not Sith Lord’s eyes studied his form and then quirked an eyebrow, but didn’t do anything else besides putting away his datapad and waiting for the Mando to get to ‘im.

Naturally, Janus had been hanging around the auction hall as well. He tended to show up wherever Tionese business was concerned. He found himself rolling his eyes in disgust at the lunacy and ineptness displayed by the repulsive, moronic corporation of Subach-Innes. How did that revolting mass of vanity and foolishness continue to slither about the galaxy? A nauseating mystery that transcends all the galaxy, truly.

Be that as it was, he spied Jared Ovmar among the individuals slinking around, and decided to say hello. The Umbaran's footsteps would alert the man to his approach quite easily.

"Well. Look who it is. Win anything interesting?"

Ember leaned in close. Reeeal close.

A man of Keetael training knew at least some ballistokinesis. Without a gesture on Ember's part, a spread trio of red paintballs, each loaded with Ember's blood, accelerated from his belt pouch.

No harmful intent to trigger a precog warning.

Rekali wouldn’t have been able to get in closer than two meters or so, ‘least not before some bodyguards would start making trouble (and probably get killed in the progress).

As it stood Ovmar nodded towards Ardik, momentarily losing his focus and spoke: “A date with the illustrious Da--” he was cut short as three balls shot out of seemingly nowhere.

Two of ‘em hit his jacket, blood seeping into it, but nothing that couldn’t be fixed. The last one hit him straight in the face, blood seeping into his eye and mouth, that… was that.

The Sith Lord sighed, retrieved a handkerchief and wiped away some of the residual blood, not that it would matter. He was positively fecked for now, his hand moved to wave Ardik to halt for a while.

Former Sith Emperor might not be the bravest man alive, but if he wanted to pick a fight now… it wouldn’t end well for anyone here.

How much?’ Ovmar simply asked.

[member="Ember Rekali"] | [member="Jared Ovmar"]

Janus nearly flinched when suddenly Ovmar was impacted by three foreign objects. They must have been paint balls or something, given they all burst on impact and splattered Janus' colleague with a foreign crimson substance. Then some hulking brute in an iron mask sauntered up. Apparently his esteemed colleague was wanted for something pertaining to a Tahira. What the hell was a Tahira? He had to have heard it somewhere. Clearly not somewhere important enough that he would remember, obviously.

"What? This is preposterous." Janus sniffed indignantly, seemingly more outraged at the destruction of Ovmar's jacket than Ovmar. "I'm calling security."

"Not necessary." Grunts the massive figure of a very nasty looking hybrid, grey leather skin covered in burn scars. He really didn't need a fight breaking out right now; auctions were the worst place to start fights, and that was about the only thing security was actually capable of doing.

Starting a brawl.
