TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Spear
  • Size: Large
  • Weight: Average
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Always In Motion, Difficult to See: The banding of trakar on the blade and throughout the piece render it, while not entirely dead in the Force, very difficult to see and feel in it, thus making precognition and other powers that would alert a Force User to danger or an attack virtually useless on it, and direct attaks against in via the Force (even including Shatterpoint) less effective and harder to bring to bear, and Telekenitc manipulations are almost impossible.
  • Just The Tip: Inside the tip is a reservoir that must be filled between each battle, carrying a moderate amount of whatever poison fits Obran's desires (usually Equivox or Devaronian Blood Poison) that secretes from said reservoir to coat the tip and edges, adding a layer of surprise to the already vicious weapons.
  • Echani Tech: Able to shrink and grow the haft from 16"-7'

STRENGTHS
  • Hard to recognize via precognition and other such Force borne abilities, and hard to damage via the Force as well. Immune to telekinetic manipulations.
  • Poisoned
  • Lightsaber resistant (Beskar)
WEAKNESSES
  • As with any spear, once inside it's reach, it becomes a difficult weapon to bring to bear.
  • For a spear, it would be considered heavy, as most spears are made to be light as a feather. It is less useful thrown for most, though Obran can achieve such in a pinch.
  • For all it's oomph, it carries a wooden haft and all the vulenrabilities that it's material, and wood in general, bring to bear.

DESCRIPTION

A beautiful white wood spear veined in gold, it is tipped in beskar and banded throughout the haft and blade with voidsteel, making it a beautiful weapon. Each small band of bone is heavily carved in knotwork, and each band of voidsteel is carved with names, the purpose of which Obran would not tell Ijaat or anyone else. It is, overall, a very efficient and business like spear, but full of the typical lethal beauty and hidden surprises (like a poison reservoir) . The strap for carrying is a scrap of red cloth, embroidered with the clan symbol of Clan Dragr as a nod to his new adoptive family.
