Who's Ready For Tomorrow - Rat Boy

It had certainly been a hot moment since Dedata had been here last. In a way this place made her think of coruscant, but smaller and the divides larger to the extend she even had to question if this world had a middle class or if it was a simple divide between those born to the streets or to the corporate world. She had not much time to work with and had asked Ivory Stroud Ivory Stroud if she could use her contacts in dark wire to provide slicers, as many as they could spare. After all what this task entailed would affect both of the groups in either success or fail. The shadow broker made use of a dilapidated warehouse. It's roof had caved in but its walls where still standing strong somehow.

The woman had time to set up equipment like tables and consoles for people to work from if anyone was going to show at all. Things were so short notice the woman was wondering how much she could do solo. Placed between all the consoles she had placed a holoprojector that she would use to communicate and to show valuable information. A sense of nervousness ran over Dedata, she did not know darkwire all to much only what has been spoken about between Marcella Fiora Marcella Fiora and Ivory. The area that she had set everything up was shady but then again what was about to go down was too.

It took a little time but she had finished the work area and even provided a portable heater knowing the work could go far into the night, and she was even prepared to cook meals and do drink orders. After all it was her asking for help it only seemed accommodating. Just because she was a criminal it did not mean the way she had to treat them had to be criminal too. For now the info broker would wait in her iconic outfit to see who shows then she will explain the situation.

Lliara Daeva

Pharmaceuticals (Save|Kill)
Dirty tools were the sign of a disturbed mind. Wet tools were the sign of a fool. Lliara was neither. Though her victims -- living or dead -- would probably disagree about her being of 'sound mind.' You just had to ignore the critics; their number was legion in the galaxy. Too many people with too narrow a vision or no creativity.

Which was where the flashing indicator in the corner of one eye caught her attention. Lliara set the instrument of persuasion and the rag she'd been drying it with aside before she reached over to grab the datapad. A new job offer had appeared in the nearby area. As a self-sufficient woman not tied down to any particular loyalty or location, Lliara always counted on well-informed individuals to provide financial or creative opportunities. Money was needed for her scientific pursuits, but exercising her brain kept her sharp over the years.

There'd been a job or two involving Darkwire. Here or there. They were a mercurial bunch in terms of their motivation, but every so often their interests aligned. Never hurt to know a few technically savvy people. Lliara occasionally needed a little help breaking into high-security locations -- even her methods and abilities only went so far.

Some time later, the black-clad figure strode down the narrow street toward the warehouse indicated. The dark figure carried what appeared to be a medical bag in her right hand. Her boots clicked over the ground rhythmically, but without the slightest hurry. There was still time. Her sealed helmet turned slight to one side then the other on occasion to scan the surroundings as she went. Lliara hadn't survived as long as she had in the Business walking blindly into an ambush. Corpos could be insidious every now and again.

Couldn't say the location was the most... attractive Lliara had ever set foot in. The collapsed roof was a nice touch. Cameras to watch the perimeter so no one slipped in without them knowing? Whatever the setup, Lliara knocked or let herself in after having intentionally walked by the entrance once without even trying the door. Never hurt to feign you weren't going somewhere to spy people watching on those that went for the door.

What Lliara found... was unexpected, but not unwelcome. Dedata | Celty Ree Dedata | Celty Ree 's outfit was roughly similar to Lliara's, only the other feminine figure present had more of a... whimsical theme to her bodysuit and helmet. It was the cat ears on the helmet, really. The Miralukan's was more reminiscent of ancient, oppressive regime. Not that she fancied herself a galaxy lord, she just liked the way it looked on her.

The equipment setup nearby at least suggest Lliara hadn't been misled into some kind of prank. Not that she would have minded. Probably would have dosed the pranksters with something that would give them a trip worth remembering -- assuming it didn't fry every synapse in their head. She wasn't a coldblooded monster, but using custom neuro-agents on people they hadn't been deliberately designed for could have some nasty side effects -- death, in particular.

"Just tell me we're not playing synth-rave music." Lliara had done an analysis of that 'genre' of 'music' and it was well within the margin of error that it was just noise.
