"
No need to switch to a healer, we have two healers on hand" he replied to
Cara Dorniarn
, referring to
Scherezade deWinter
and
Kazuhira. He was then interrupted by a request made by another player. "
As for the Hollow Crest, while it may, in fact, drop in older raids such as the Heart of the Infection, for every boss, everyone gets a gear drop, either for yourself or for your mount"
The Den of the Cold Ones, and Warlock's Grave are some of the new content released with the latest expac, respectively a raid and a dungeon, the Esh-kha thought, while inspecting the incoming players, with the realization that
Ryv
, and
Cara Dorniarn
are the other veteran players. The Heart of the Infection was an older raid, and even he struggled with the bonus boss of a dungeon such as the Mikhno Psychiatric Hospital, where one needed a working knowledge of complex analysis to successfully break the code. And, given who's still playing, he's not surprised that he could still be getting good money on the black market for a carry run of things such as the Depths of Gorima
with bonus boss, the aforementioned Mikhno Psychiatric Hospital (whose bonus boss, a couch potato elf that dealt in electronic engineering, dropped one piece of gear per person, plus a LCD TV) on the dungeon side, or, on the raid side, nightmare-mode Sun Disk (whose signature decoration, a miniature solar powerplant that gives you a fixed stream of income once in service, is guaranteed to drop for all players after killing the last boss) or even
hard-mode Heart of Infection, whose last boss drops an infected gryphon.

As for seeing a doctor if you have an infection, I was coming to the role of the infection in the first boss' mechanics. First phase, he will throw stones which will release a virus upon impact. Once the stones are thrown, he will then summon contaminated and infected mantises, the contaminated mantises are melee, while the infected ones are ranged. Upon death they will explode and give you more stacks of infection, of which you cannot have more than 4 before you die. Because drunk enemies don't accrue aggro, while the DoTs from things such as from the alcoholic cloud are still up, they may have lowered accuracy, and more erratic movement, but it's possible a healer or a DPS could come under attack from the adds then. Needless to say, the infection stacks must be cleansed in that phase"
Also, while the alcohol wizard was the best ranged DoT spec in the game, in raids such as the Heart of the Infection, some mechanics come into play only if an alcohol wizard has attacked the boss or its adds, or even when engaging the "trash" (enemies between the bosses, of which newer content tend to have less of). In the Heart of Infection, for example, some enemies could suffer from
delirium tremens, but they don't suffer from it the same: for gryphons, this would mean their defenses are lowered greatly for as long as there is a delirium tremens, while mantises would instead go berserk while in delirium tremens. Finally, for the alcohol wizard, the rotation starts with the alcohol cloud, the AoE DoT, and then the other two DoT spreads, False Happiness and Alcohol Lust, and finally proceed with the burst attacks, Corrosive Cocktail (which is actually channeled), Alcoholic Pulse, and Liquor Shot x3. Hopefully
Bernard of Arca will realize what is happening. Yet, in the in-game lore, thieves go around healing with stolen medicine and antidotes.

In the second phase, however, it is recommended to have at least 1 infection stack when the special ability of the boss is triggered: the more infection stacks you have then, the less damage you take from it. Immediately after the special attack, the train comes and you must then have the boss on the tracks; if the train hits the boss, the boss dies then - otherwise we will only be able to bring their HP down to 10%"
