The General of the Mecetti House Guard oversees the operation of the Navy, but there is also a Major whose specific duty it is to command the navy ships. Regardless, all Mecetti House Guard forces are answerable to the noble family.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Mecetti House Guard Navy has protected House Mecetti family assets and provincial territory since before the time of the Galactic Empire. Their ships are known to be somewhat dated, but are sufficiently powerful to maintain order in the Mecetti Province and to keep other Tapani Sector nobles from encroaching. The Star Destroyers rarely see combat, with the House preferring to use the Corvettes as their primary patrol and enforcement force. However, all Star Destroyers and Cruisers are kept in fighting trim, in case they are ever needed.
