DESCRIPTION
Utilizing the Drydocks of the Foerost Shipyards or their Deep Space Installations, the MC25b Galecaller - Class Picket Ship was the first of many warships that would be produced by the Free Dac Engineering Corps, and their various affiliated Corporate Cousins. While many Mon Calamari vessels in the past were converted from Civilian craft, somewhere along the line the many people of Dac began creating legitimate warships to not only defend their world but the various iterations of the Republic thereafter. The Galecaller - Class Picket Ship was a continuation of that newfound direction and would blend various technologies from several outside sources - creating something entirely new for the modern era.

While other warships within the Corvette Classification would be purpose-built to fulfill a certain role on the battlefield, the Galecaller was designed to be versatile. Capable of fulfilling many roles, and swapping between them as required. This functionality allowed for the standardized Spaceframe of the MC25 to be wholly modular, and allow for various loadout's or variations. The Galecaller was but one of these variations, as much of its weaponry was stripped away to allow for a greater portion of the reactor’s output to be shunted towards the engines - effectively making it faster than it’s kin. This boost in speed was further augmented by an upscaled SLAM system, that would further draw power away from the weapon systems, in order to boost it’s Sublight propulsion systems - allowing for the Galecaller to rapidly plug any holes in a defensive picket.

When it comes to the internal systems, the Galecaller finds itself blessed with innumerable systems that complement one another, and allow for the smooth operation of the Picket Ship in both times of Peace and War.
