Maximilian Thalassis, First of His Name, was born to rule. Born in the Lost Tribe of Sith and, supposedly, descended from the original Grand Lord of the Lost Tribe Yaru Korsin, on Kesh, Maximilian was declared to be the future leader of the Sith and the rightful heir to the Sith Empire. While his status as a descendant of Yaru Korsin was very shaky and suspicious, he was reluctantly accepted by the wider tribe for the sake of stability.
As Max grew he was taught of the destiny that he was born into and raised to be the emperor that the Lost Tribe deemed worthy of ruling. By the time that he turned seven however, the Lost Tribe had realized the deception of his origins. His mother had lied about his father's ancestry and when the lie was discovered the tribe turned against their child emperor. His handful of loyal guards, led by his mother, would fake his death and place the boy into an Oubliette in order to keep him safe from the rioters that were breaching the palace. However, as Max slumbered in stasis and was buried and hidden away, his loyal allies would not survive to wake their emperor.
Centuries passed by and the boy slept, waiting for the day of his return to his throne that would never come. Finally, in 876 ABY his tomb would be discovered and he would be awoken by Alisteri and Ishani. Maximilian would be distressed by his long years of sleep and subsequent awakening in a strange future, but he would take it in stride as his liberators debated on who should keep the boy. After some discussion he decided to go with Alisteri and join the families within the Dark Wonosa Cult in order to continue his life as a Sith.
Adjusting to the new galaxy that he had woken up in was difficult, especially given the nature of the cult that he found himself in being so different from his tribe. Max proved to be a difficult child and was often passed between several families within the cult in an attempt to find somewhere for him to fit. Finally though his attitude and aggressive behavior would result in him being under the care of the two individuals with the most experience with Sith, Salneva Limont and Alisteri Haxim. Now the adopted son of the soon to be Exarch and the personal protégé of the High Priest, Max would manage to get into a familiar rhythm not unlike that of his upbringing.
With matters of statecraft and intellectual pursuits being taught, not to mention a fair bit of manners and discipline to go with them, from his adoptive mother and training in the ways of the Sith from Alisteri, the future of Maximilian Thalassis looks to be something worthy of his perceived station after all.

With his previous upbringing under tutors and his new upbringing under the Exarch he also has a basic understanding of diplomacy and matters of the state, being raised up to be in a position of power sometime in the future.

- Personality: To say that Maximilian is arrogant would be an understatement. He is abrasive, stubborn, and very sure of himself despite his youth. Childish selfishness and immaturity combined with his previous royal upbringing has given the boy an awful disposition and a huge chip on his shoulder. In recent times his anger and pride have begun to be tempered due to his induction into the cult however, but he is still very much the prideful emperor-to-be that he was when he first awoke from stasis.

- Combat Function: Despite his young age Maximillian is not one to shy away from combat, his style mainly focused on aggressive melee combat with his blade. He also, thanks to training from Alisteri, makes use of the Force to turn the environment to his advantage by throwing or even wielding and manipulating objects to attack his foes from multiple angles and rob them of any dropped equipment.
