Greetings Imperials,

In accordance with the rules of the site, we have been operating under a temporary Major Faction Owner for the past weeks during the real-life absence of our friend and founder, Logan, who is currently undertaking an even more important role: fatherhood.
With the support of our Admin team and our newly expanded Creative Staff, the time has now come to nominate a permanent Major Faction Owner so that we can maintain the momentum and pace we have all enjoyed. We have seen extraordinary changes during our time as a Major Faction and we fully intend to continue in that spirit.

With that in mind, we are opening this call for Major Faction Owner nominations by putting forward one of our current Admin St. Thomas Barran as the first nominee. (BigBarranDunGoofed on discord).

He has been instrumental to our Admin team, particularly in leading the warposting activity that people have come to expect from The Galactic Empire. His leadership of the Admin team, as interim MFO, has been a genuine asset and allowed for a smooth continuation of the plans we have set in motion and executed so far, including the expansion of all elements of lore, PVE and PVP.

I nominate Ellayina L'lerim as potential successor due to her experience as MFO in the Eternal Empire and generally moderate, approachable, active and welcoming nature. She knows how to run and guide a faction, how to create lasting, intense and intriguing storylines for an imperial and dark setup as well as include the more niche characters and narratives.

Fully aware that she is an RPJ.

Thank you very much for the nomination, but I cannot accept it because I am an RPJ, which disqualifies me from being an MFO.

For this very reason (due to the RPJ position), I am not nominating anyone, but whoever becomes the MFO in the future, I will of course remain and support them and the faction. <3

And I would also like to thank all the writers for being here at GE and writing great stories that are a pleasure to read. <3

I wholeheartedly support our Emperor's mission to be a present parent, and in his absence, wholeheartedly back St. Thomas Barran for MFO. The man is one of the most dedicated writers and straight shooters out there. I've written with him for literal years now (holy hell), and he has never once faltered on either principle or absolute banger tiers of writing quality.

While my activity/presence has been spotty, St. Thomas Barran commitment to this faction has not. Seeing his posts from even the NIO days, he's never wavered and has been determined to produce quality for the faction. His conduct and his creativity with the Empire have been stellar.

With the votes closed, and nomination carried, I hereby accept my nomation for the rank and title of MFO, accepting all the responsibilities in OOC leadership of the Galactic Empire, and promise to hold to this position for as long as required.

In the effort to move forward with my duties, I also express my complete, utmost gratitude for your votes, but more-so for the trust you're investing in my leadership. Therefore, I promise never to break that trust, and to stand with you all to whatever end awaits this rollercoaster of a story.

You're all awesome writers, all awesome people, and as far as I see it, you're all more than worth the effort.
