Anyone into this game? I play pretty competitively and I found a way to play online using whatever deck you want. If anyone is interested in playing some, let me know!

Played casually a little before and right after high school. My dorm back in college had a huge MTG presence, but by then I'd already lost all of my cards and I wasn't really interested in it anyway. Anything after the Alara block is pretty much alien to me.

I got rid of all my cards a few years ago. So far out of date that they'd not even be compatible any more.

Oh, they are most definitely compatible and the reason why vintage and legacy tournament formats are so broken. A number of them have even be reprinted recently.

On average, cards have gotten progressively stronger over the years, with the exception of cards so absurdly broken that they break the game (e.g. the so-called Power 9 cards).

It's not a compatibility issue, the game hasn't really changed. Old cards are still compatible, they just may not be strong enough to be viable in tournament play.

But who cares about that. Play casual, like me.
