DESCRIPTION
Scrap, salvage, junk, droids and anything else made of metal and wires has been a major driving force for the Jawas. Most of it was for trade, bit others were drawn to the items themselves. For thousands of years, Jawas roamed the endless deserts of Tatooine in their great sandcrawelrs in search of such metallic riches. On some nights, sitting beneath the stars, they would tell stories of scrap fields stretching as far as the eye can see, massive stations full of riches just abandoned to rust and entire planets of junk. Such treasures were enticing, to many they were just stories and would rather stick to familiar sands. To others, however, these tales were to tempting to simply ignore. Banding together, a group of Jawas sacrificed their crawler to build their first spacefaring vessel. Months of hard labor and salvage later, the M33 Starcrawler was finished. The engines of the vessel came to life with a roar and carried the little metal merchants into the skies and beyond.
