- Description: M1 SPDN at first glance might seem like a regular facility, but certain signs clearly suggest otherwise. The thick walls and electrified barbed wire might tip such observations, and the shield only reinforces them. It has been painted in a manner such that it blends into the surroundings, and optics are generally insufficient to find it.
Missile Launch Area: A group of 4 Missile launch tubes, dedicated to launching M2 LRMs at hostile fleets in range. They go into the ground, protected against enemy counterattacks by a large 4 feet thick steel walls to protect the missiles. Post-launch, missiles are automatically reloaded, minimising the need for organic involvement in the launch and reloading process.
Shield Generator: A single shield generator provides the protection required. In collaboration with the program handling missile launches, it lowers the shields whenever a friendly missile needs to be launched, then raises them right after.
Electrified Fence: A 20 feet tall and 4 feet thick wall surrounds the entire facility. It is topped up by an electrified layer of barbed wire. At small intervals, there are anti-air platforms that can be used by the site's personnel during an attack.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
After the terrorist attack on Ord Mantell, ZU High Com decided that it was high time to make planets self-sufficient in their own defence- or at least to the greatest possible degree. Thus, the concept of M2 missiles and Silos was born, and M1 SPDN was the first implementation of this ideology.
