STRENGTHS
  • Explosive Shots: As they explode on contact, bolts cannot be reflected by lightsabers and confer considerable concussive and thermal force on whatever they hit while also having the potential to kill or injure through ‘splash’ alone.
  • Stun setting blasts out in a cone making it difficult to dodge or block.
WEAKNESSES
  • While Painless, repeated uses of the stun effect may incur prolonged headaches, muscle cramps, dizziness, and possible nausea to most sentients.
  • A full-sized rifle, the LV-PR looses out on close quarter maneuverability to some designs without its stock folded.
DESCRIPTION
Rugged dependability was the by-word for the Liberty Vector’s design. Chuchi wanted to ensure that no soldier using one of her weapons would ever be let down by it in the heat of battle. Its frame and body are made from robust plasteel giving the rifle incredible durability on a range of battlefields while maintaining a lighter weight.

Intended to be the GADF's primary weapon across a wide spectrum of situations, from shipboard combat to every conceivable biome a planet could present, including corrosive toxic atmospheres, the Liberty features an enclosed design with anti-corrosion gel protecting its more vulnerable internals. A de-ionizer built into the weapon even allows it to recover from ion and EMP attacks in just a few moments. A folding stock allows easier carrying in enclosed spaces while the explosive particles are capable of punching through most armors. For those defenses simply too heavy to outright defeat, the explosive shots impart significant kinetic energy to a target while the concussive blasts find the small gaps between plates and seams. And while the longer barrel increases the LV-PR’s overall length, Chi believed the trade-off for increased accuracy over range was well worth the trade-off.

To keep costs down, few exotic materials were used in the Liberty Vector’s construction; and functionality was kept simple beyond the ability to integrate with a soldier’s other equipment such as a head’s up display and vision enhancement. This has the added benefit of simplified training and maintenance on the rifle alongside lowered logistical costs.

Nice weapon! I found one problem. The Stopping power is not stopping power anymore. I would like to ask you to edit it:
Damage Output: (How powerful the weapon is, in relation to its class. Choose from None, Very Low, Low, Average, High, Very High, and Extreme. Very High and Extreme will require justification in strengths and weaknesses.)
