- Intent: To create a planet for story purposes for several of my other characters, namely House Harfeld (the royal family of Lumiea), to roleplay on or reference in roleplay.

Rexillion is the capital of Lumiea and home to not only the royal family, but also home to almost 15 million Lumiean citizens. Rexillion consists of 4 sectors, all correlating to respective classes and groups of people and all named after the infamous ancestors of the Harfeld lineage.
First is the Garrenthian Sector, named after Garrenthia the Courteous. The Garrenthian Sector is where all refugees or outcasts reside who have not yet been granted citizensip status. This sector of the city is considered the most dangerous and crime-ridden of them all and so is located at the very outskirts of city, as far away from upper-class society as possible.
Second is the Corellius Sector, named after Corellius the Kind. This sector is possibly the most diverse and large of all the sectors as it houses a large variety of lower to middle-class citizens who consist of many different species. It also consists of a large market and it is where most of the local businesses reside.
Third is the Tanuselle Sector, named after Tanuselle the Courageous. This sector consists mostly of higher-class citizens and military veterans that have been given housing there. Possibly the most boring of the sectors, there is not much to see here.
Finally, the Borelli Sector, named after the late Queen Borelli. This sector consists of the very upper-class noble citizens and close friends of the royal family. The market in this sector consists of the very finest of products and the most expensive of furnishings.
In the very centre of the city, lies the grand Merrilian Castle, named after Merrilan Harfeld - the Harfeld who first erected the castle 300 years ago. This castle gives refuge to House Harfeld, the royal family of Lumiea with a rich lineage.

Dahridge Military Base serves as the main base of operations for both the Army and Navy of the Lumiean Republic. It is based upon a large platform in Lumiea's largest sea and spans a distance the size of a small city. It consists of various shipyards, training grounds, housing and large ship docks for use by the Lumiean Republic and it's allies.

[*]Culture: Lumiea prides itself on it's population's diversity both in culture and race, meaning everyone is free to live their lives differently. However, most Lumiean humans that live amongst the higher class of the planet follow a religion that spans back since the very first years of Lumiea. It was first practised by the settlers - refugees that started to build on the undeveloped planet after the end of the galactic civil war between the Empire and the Rebellion. When they first came to the planet, the settlers needed something to believe in and so they invented Lumi'ain and a language to write their scriptures in. Most Lumiean humans still live their lives by what these scriptures preached, their message being that for every evil, there is a more powerful force of good to fight it. However, this force of good can sometimes be confusing and if one is not careful, they will fall to a greater depth than those who they are fighting... Therefore, every Lumiean is taught from a young age to be careful and aware of what is going on around them at all times. Daily life in Lumiea is dictated by where and how you live. As always, there will always be people who do not obey the laws, those who do and those that live by their own. Life on the planet can be as hard and as easy as an individual make it for themselves.
- Government: Republic (w/ An overruling Monarchy)

- Wealth: High. Due to it's highly priced and valued exports that are always in high demand - for example, it's starships and alcohol.
- Stability: Medium. Some citizens do not agree with the decisions of the current government and it is beginning to cause some unrest amongst the lower and middle classes of Lumiean society - though it is not a particularly large threat at the current moment.
- Freedom and Oppression: Lumiea is ruled by an elected government - with Princess Kaya Harfeld at it's head, however this is not all it may seem. The citizens and even the elected officials themselves are unaware that although it may seem the planet is run by democracy and the will of the people, the government are being manipulated by the King through Kaya and tricked into thinking every idea she puts fourth is what is right for the planet when in fact they only benefit the minority.
- Military: Lumiea is an extremely militaristic planet and have a very expansive navy, yet a less significant army. The Lumiean Republic's navy is much more advanced than some other planets' of similar sizes. Although the planet's navy is advanced, it's army possibly wouldn't be sufficient to withstand large attacks from enemies - if they somehow managed to get to the planet's surface in the first place.
- Technology: Due to Lumiea's wealth and prosperity, the planet can afford to research new and improved technologies and very recently the government has put a large sum of money into doing just this. At the moment though, Lumiea is a technologically advanced as a planet of it's size and wealth can be.
Lumiea was first discovered by philosophers in the years leading up to the galactic civil war, before the rebellion began to fight back against the tyranny of the Empire. However, the planet was not settled on or even developed on until after the war in 4 ABY. The first settlers to begin the population process were a group of human refugees that were forced out of their homes by the Empire during their tyrannic reign over the galaxy. Their numbers were few, around 300, but they were all workers - except one, their leader, Merrilan Harfeld. Merrilan was a strong, experienced woman who knew what she needed to do to populate the planet of Lumiea quickly and efficiently - and make it habitable for future generations, her descendants and the descendants of all of those around her. The settlers worked hard for years until they established a major settlement upon the planet - and more immigrant species began to flood in. By the year 50 ABY, they were forced to expand their settlement so much that it began to look like the makings of a city.
Over the next few years, with the rise and the fall of the First Order, Lumiea accepted any refugees from that war who may need roofs over their heads, food and water to feed themselves and their children. Now, with the galaxy finally in peace and the reconstruction process beginning, the next few hundred years were prosperous and full of development for the Lumiean's. Generation after generation passed, each one developing Lumiea even further until they had established themselves as a powerful force to be reckoned with. Cities were built, expansion was rapid and new technology was developed. However, as the planet's population grew, and it's cities bloomed, there was a great threat over the horizon - namely the Gulag Plague.
The Gulag Plague had a knock on effect on the whole galaxy - and it killed many and toppled empires, Lumiea was no exception. Due to the sheer amount of immigrants beginning to populate the planet, the plague spread quickly amongst Lumiean Citizens - especially within Rexillion. Men, women, children, people were dying left, right and centre - and it was happening so quickly. Of course, it did not help that Rexillion was so densely populated at the time. Quarantining the noble district of the city, the monarchy caused an uproar amongst Lumiean citizens. Healthy people were being left to die outside of the district's walls - and the population was decreasing rapidly. Eventually, all of the healthy people within the walls of the district were forced to evacuate and relocate to a less populated quarantined region of the planet and rebuild their lives there. As centuries passed, the remaining citizens of the planet built up an immunity to the gulag virus - and it was safe to return from where they came from.
Now they had to rebuild.
They learnt from their mistakes, and put plans in place to stop such a horrid thing as the Gulag plague from happening again. The Monarchy were replaced with a government - but still allowed to reside in the background - and the city of Rexillion was separated into various different sectors. This was to prevent infected or ill immigrants from entering the city without express permission and citizenship. The planet's navy and military was rebuilt, as well, and the planet's economy was rebuilt from the bottom up.
The Lumiean Republic is back, and they are a force to be reckoned with.
