Yeah. To the elves, Morgoth was basically Satan. Tulkas, Manwe, and Elbereth (who was mentioned in the books) are Valar, like lowercase-g gods (Eru/Illuvatar was God) or high-level angels. Sauron was originally a Maia (angel) and was corrupted by him. So were Balrogs, interestingly enough.

@[member="Kalo Narcin"] - One Open thread for each of the movies/books? I'd also suggest one of us act as the narrator to drive the plot onwards, much like during events.
