- Perfect weapon placement: Weapon placements on this ship have been set up such a way that there is no known nor visual blind spot for this ship's offensive systems.
- Back up systems: In case of emergency, lack of pilots or any input in times of crisis, any and all system directives within the ship can be completely taken over by the ZEUS MK II, which can bring the ship to safety and assure the safety of the crew when necessary. Thanks to the automated navigation computer, it also allows for functional hyperdrive capacity.
- Heat Resistant: Thanks to the use of Ersteel in its structure and the added on coating of carbonite, heat based weaponry or machinery using heat to for instance penetrate the plating, will have much less effect than on comparable ships with a different plating composition. It also allows for dives into atmospheric conditions and closer proximity to volatile spacial phenomena such as stars without breaking down.
- Very low Hangar space: Though it is a patrol craft, as the focus has gone more for offensive capacity and maneuvrability, this ship does not have much of a reliable starfighter nor support craft number to properly engage or protect itself from numerous enemies, usually relegating this ship to either more secure locations within its working area or as a support to larger vessels. Though there is some potential for use as a smuggler's ship or a pirate's ship.
- EMP weakness: Though the ZEUS MK II core has excellent protections against EMP and ION due to it's materials and make up, this is not the case for most of the ship's other systems, thus well-aimed emp pulses or explosions may render this ship almost completely helpless for a large amount of time, as rebooting systems and restarting everything is a painstakingly slow process.
The Loth Wolf-class frigate's design was one which came out of necessity. With the expansion of the company's vast array of weaponry, some of the older ships, especially in the frigate sized range were starting to show their age. The Loth wolf-class project started under the name Skirmisher, a name reminiscent of the frigate it was supposed to succeed in the lineup: the Skirmisher I class Assault Frigate. However, giving the same name to the eventual Loth Wolf-Class was out of the question when N&Z Umbrella Corporation decided to rebrand older models under a different daughter company within it's own line up. As such project Skirmisher became the Loth Wolf-Class.
With its wedge design, it filled its role as a family member to the other Nargath ships quite good, translating the general design choice of the company for most of its larger ships, with in particular its line of battlecruisers which seemed to be quite popular among most factions within the galaxy. Oufitted with the newer ZEUS mk II droid core for better performance of its systems and better safety and security, this Loth Wolf also has the advantage of great improvement over its predecessor in terms of better weaponry and material. In short, this design is the beginning of a new revolution within the Frigate class for the company.
