There's more than one way to be enslaved
are they still employed to Broka the hutt? If so, would they be considered slaves? i've got a former slave char that works deeply in the Freedom Trail. If you wanted, we could do a thread freeing them or attempting to free them if you want them to stay for story purposes.

They are still employed, yes. And some consider them slaves that need to be freed. But they figure that since he treats them far better than anyone else has, that they are not slaves. His protection has helped keep them together, as there are some that want to surgically seperate them, which is their greatest fear >.<

hmmmm..... you think their experience with slavery (the gang that had them before are the picture of stereotypical slavers even if it wasn't outright said) would make them want to help free others? If so, with their visions maybe they could use the force to sense where the bomb/trackers are in a slave?
Could do one where Anakin comes to pick up some newly de-bombed slaves and runs into trouble with Broka, making him end up hiding out with them? (he currently has a bounty on his head from the hutts that reaches into near twenty thousand credits due to spending thirty some odd years freeing slaves)

The gang that had them before were very much like slavers, and it is with Broka that they gained some feedom. They don't have full freedom yet, but maybe one day.....
They could surely help finding things like bombs in bodies. And if he's got a bounty on his head, the only private place that he could talk to them without their guards present would be in their suite. He'd have to break in. Or hide out on their balcony and wait for them to open it so he can slip inside.
