Looking for Significant Other

Do it naturally!

I don't know how many times I have said this. You need to make it naturally happen. [member="Lexa Imura"] and an old character of mine started out as just strangers on the street, to master and apprentice, to boyfriend and girlfriend, to getting Married. That was, until he died. :( but my point is, we just let it happen naturally over the course of our many roleplays.

Stick to character development and slowly build interest in whatever character strikes your fancy.

Unfortunately, I'm guilty of forced romance stuff right now, and though I still want to continue trying it, it gets really awkward really fast.

While you can always have a character or two that at least on paper looks like a viable choice it is always better just to keep doing threads. It is only a matter of time before you are going to suddenly look back and go hey wait 80% plus of my scenes always seem to involve so and so let's see out it plays out.

When I was doing WoD RP it always seemed that I stuck to the character concept and romantic prospects were dropping in my lap like flies even when I was not trying to give the character a partner.

/me shrugs

[member="Cira"] and I have been RPing their wonky relationship for nearly two years at this point. Could never have had all the terrible ups and downs without that development. Some things are just better when not planned.

Sort of like having kids. It's always better when you don't mean for it to happen. ;)
