Looking for a job(Viera Kisep looking for a faction)

Viera's fleet kept firing at the interdictior, its gravity wells the only thing keeping her here at this point. She was losing bad her fleet was flooding comm channels with hit and that was when she lost two. It wasn't pretty but she focused all fire on that damn interdictor. After all that was the key to this fight. That damn ship held her only hope of escaping alive and she had the full might of her fleet blasting at it. The ships of the Viera Kisep moved and fired in a controlled matter, firing faster than one thought with the precision that only such discpline demanced by one like Kisep could earn. She would have to give extra rations to everyone if they got out of this alive. Morale needed to be kept high at this rate.
Her ships kept all firing, every ion laser, every turbo laser everything that could remotely damage with at the damn interdictior. they needed to end the gravity well.

She Who Sits Astride The Galaxy
The silent form of one more thing exiting hyperspace was obviously a given, pulled into the hyperspace trap; even a Duinuoguwin could not ignore the power of technology, sometimes. There was a fleet assaulting a single ship, which certainly seemed unfair to Valeria.

The strong survive, after all... but, she was feeling capricious. Those ships had escaped in the direction she'd come from. Were they allied vessels, perhaps?

To the commander of the lone ship, Valeria opened her datapad as she sat astride her mighty star dragon, tis wings carrying her through realspace in her armoured vac-suit. A message, to @[member="Viera Kisep"].

Your intentions - and your allegiance. Now.

"This is Grand Admiral Bosch of the Neo-Terran Fleet, otherwise known as the 1st Oversector Fleet. Rogue Imperial vessel, you are wanted for crimes against the Galactic Empire. Power down your weapons and surrender."

And with that, the fleet entered the system. 4 Tulak Hords, 2 Invictuses, and oddly enough, 6 Captivas-class Star Destroyers. What were the Captivases here for? Well...

"Initialize the gravity well cordon."

Specifically aimed, the gravity well generators of the Captivas Star Destroyers would focused around Viera's Tulak Hord, a gravity well on each of the six directions of the vessel. Why do this? Predominantly because a gravity well directly in the Tulak Hord's face would impede its maneuverability if it tried to slip out and get outside their range of effect. For now, though, the generators needed to warm up. These were earlier-model Captivases, after all.

"Move the Vasa and the Royal Jewel(the Invictuses) to the sides of her ship and engage. I want all fighters launched and armed with ion ordinance. Mag-pulse missiles, ion torpedoes, and ion bombs. Helm, bring us as close to that ship as we can get without the gravity wells affecting us. Tell Rear Admiral Koth and the Repulse to follow us in, as well as the Vindicator and the Courageous. This prisoner is not escaping."

For now, the dragon was ignored.

Soliael sat upon the observation deck of his cruiser, a seat had been fashioned for him here, though it appeared far more than a throne. He calmly sat upon it, watching as Hyperspace passed him by. A smile was on his face, he was relaxed. The Sith Lord turned god had just achieved one of his greatest goals, the subjugation of the Aing-Tii. The Spread of Moross was going fast, more and more people every day joined Moross and the religion grew. Planets fell and entire solar systems joined the faith. It was heartening to know that Moross would soon be every way.

His smile grew slightly as his thoughts drifted outwards towards the future, and the past.

Then all of a sudden the ship lurched forward. The stars returned from stripes to spots, and the HARC dropped from hyperspace in an instant. Soliael scowled, something was clearly wrong. Their hyperspace jump had taken them no where near a gravity well, that must have meant...His train of thought came entirely to a halt as he spotted several dozen ships out within the blackness of space. His scowl grew as he recognized the designs of the starship.

The Sith were apparently here, and fighting with one another. Soliael reached to the edge of his throne and pressed a key. “Take up a position at the edge of the system. I don't want to get involved until we have to.”

A slight chirping noise could be heard in confirmation to his order and The God of Moross simply nodded to himself. The ship took a hard right and began to drift towards the very edge of the system. The fast corvette moved quickly jumping out of the way of any of the Sith Ships. Then as soon as they got out of range the engines of The Freya cut off.

The ship went completely dark and silent, becoming almost impossible to detect. They watched, silently drifting through space.

One did not screw around with unclaimed international space. One especially did not do so with multiple warfleets. Not without attracting attention from the kind of person who tended to view people like Viera Kisep as hers. If the Empire could get here, so far from everything, the Lords of the Fringe most certainly could. Witness the star dragon ridden by Legate Valeria Ilara of the Lords of the Fringe, an advance scout for the fleet of Grand Admiral Shira Karrde.

An escort force and honor guard decelerated from hyperspace at Viera's back, and faced the two Imperial fleets. The Empire had something like seven Tulak Hord command ships, six Xo'Xaan heavy escorts, six first-generation interdictors, and two old Pellaeons, plus some odds and ends. The Fringe fleet had been thrown together to give a proper escort to a Grand Admiral. Six Permanence-class batteships took point, each a rough equivalent to a Tulak Hord minus ground assault capability. Four Wasp-class heavy cruisers supported them, each equivalent to a Xo'Xaan. And five Karakter-class pocket carriers disgorged their starfighters to create a fighter screen for the capital ships. In some ways, the Empire outgunned the Fringe force fairly heavily. In others, less so. A total of five hundred and ninety starfighters, maybe sixty less than the Empire could field, could be deployed to form that screen, along with dozens of Malos-class gunships, equivalent to the dreaded Omega Inimica.

And then the flagship appeared. The Chimaera. Kuat Drive Yards Invictus-class, heavily modified in spare-no-expense terms by Sienar Fleet Systems, in order to be the personal flagship of Empress Desmius the First. It had vanished at her coup, turning up here and there, always with a different owner. Aeten Two, a black hole near Tython, and so forth and so on. The former flagship of the Empire wasn't something that Ashin flashed around; its presence had been meant to send an unambiguous message to Viera. Without the text of her comm, of course, the Imperial forces could only guess at the reasons for the appearance of the ghost ship, a vessel that outgunned a Tulak Hord fractionally but seriously outmatched it for fighter capacity.

The two sides were now effectively equal. Almost like the universe had a sense of proportion when it came to rectifying high-handed dogpiles.

The woman whose face appeared on the comm screens of every commander in the vicinity was visibly not the former Empress who had commanded the Chimaera in days gone by. At heart, of course, Grand Admiral Shira Karrde was Ashin Varanin, Empress Desmius, and Viera Kisep was hers. The escort hadn't entirely been an honor guard, as it happened.

"Imperial forces, this is the Star Destroyer Chimaera, under the command of Grand Admiral Shira Karrde, representing the Fringe Confederation and the Treaty of Ithor. Grand Admiral Kisep is under our protection. Stand down or be destroyed."

Belle Morte appeared as directed, she was in the gift Shinju had brought back but... only the commander knew that. She let her eyes scan the massive sith fleets and spoke from the seat as orders came in. The remade Hungry Dark, the repainted MK II Star destroyer with blood stained rooms. "Ma'am what should we do for the sith fleet?" "Let them eat static and join up with the commander. Do not change our transponder until the last moment, She knows who we are they do not." With a look out the view port the guns went on towards the Sith ships while she spoke. "Commander the Hungry Dark will lend what it can." She kept her eyes on the sight of Kiseps ship. "Work on getting a secure message to @[member="Viera Kisep"], tell her if all else fails to tag an escape pod and we'll pick her up."

Valeria Ilara

She Who Sits Astride The Galaxy
And then there were fleets everywhere. Well, that just happened - some were her own, and then some were not, and then some were hostile.

The advance scout had done her job.

The difference between a Duinuoguwin and a technological hyperdrive was that there was no limiter. Certainly, at the core of a mass shadow, hypervelocity couldn't be achieved. This far out, however? A mass shadow was meaningless. There was nothing to force a beast out of hyperspace when it could not be fooled. Now that it was a space battle, there would be turbolasers everywhere, meaning the chances of her dying were too high.

"Mer'ax'ys," murmured the Legate. "Our task is done. Our overlord has arrived."

"Wise, kaal. We shall leave."

And, with that, the star dragon flapped its wings, turned around, and leapt away.

Peregrine: Cloaked and Near the Chimaera

The Peregrine cloaked moved behind the Chimaera staying close if boarding was necessary, but the lone pilot onboard wandered leaving the cloaking on the ship. She moved quietly towards the room where she performed her talent. The meditation room, it had seen many battles and she felt so at home here. Pulling off her cloak she folded it and laid it on the nearby stool.

Her boots kicked off and she knelt down and took in a deep breath. Closing her eyes she sensed through the force where Karrde was along with the others she had connected with before. Relaxing her entire frame she waited for the exact moment. There were no orders yet, so Spencer took the time to center her mind and feel where the others were.

Mind worked, making plans and understanding the battlefield that laid before her and the people she would soon be influencing. The mask she usually wore rested beside her, there was no reason to have it on now. Though her aura easily hidden by the necklace which was treated with Sith Alchemy by Ashin, fingers played with the charm as Spencer finally found her center. A deep breath entered her body and slowly exhaled through her mouth.

When the signal was given, she would be ready.

Command Bridge -- Tulak Hord-class Star Destroyer, Spiteful
Somewhere in Deep Space

@[member="Aken Bosch"], @[member="Ral Telon"]

Gregor Gideon stood at the far edge of the reinforced bridge view-port. The stars streaked by in blurred lines of blue-white light until all at once the blurs stopped. The ship reverted back to realspace, and along with it another sizable chunk of the 69th Assault Fleet, to which the venerated Sith Knight was currently assigned. Attached by his own request, he found himself in temporary command of a naval task force.

"Inform Admiral Bosch of my arrival. Issue all predetermined directives, as well as establish communications relays to all relevant commanders. The will of the Emperor is not to be impeded." He spoke to the man standing to his right - the ship's executive officer, whom immediately about-faced and paced away to undoubtedly delegate away all the responsibilities just as Gregor himself had just done. The joys of leadership.

The orders, on behalf of @[member="Tyrin Ardik"], sitting Sith Emperor himself, were to enact a cessation of hostilities, at least immediately - until proper identification of the traitor could be determined, and any transgressions against - or by - the other governmental entities present, could be analyzed and responded to, most likely in kind.

Regarding Kisep,

So long as Kisep is aligned with the Lords of the Fringe, all official Imperial pursuit of her incarceration is hereby ceased. All Imperial naval forces currently engaged in the attempted apprehension of Viera Kisep are ordered to cease their activities and return to their previous stations. It is requested that the Lords of the Fringe return or scuttle the Tulak Hord-class Star Destroyer wrongfully stolen by Viera Kisep during her unlawful defection to the former "Galactic Imperium."

The Empire thanks you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation in this matter.

"This must be some sort of joke. He really expects me to just call off the hunt?! Bah, everyone back to Thule. Master Kaine will -not- be pleased with my failure. I'm gonna sink my teeth into that woman's neck someday I swear it." Ral was obviously angered at the Emperor's message but it was in his blood to be loyal so he followed the orders. His fleet immediately entered hyperspace and returned home. OOn the way back to THule, Ral slammed his fist on the arm of his chair and sent a message to his Master.

To: @[member="Kaine Zambrano"]

The grubby little wench got away by the skin of her teeth, Master. I have failed you and the Empire.

When the Fringe fleet entered the area, Bosch's ships immediately initialized their shields and primed their weapons. The traitor was too important to let escape, especially for the ships she had available to her.

Then the Chimaera entered the area. Bosch gave no hint of what he was thinking, but in his mind, he immediately recognized the vessel: Empress Desimus I's flagship and an archon of the technological progress she had brought to the Empire during her reign as Imperial overlord. Receiving the message from @[member="Ashin Varanin"] - I mean Shira Karrde, Grand Admiral of the Fringe Confederation and his apparent counterpart, he said nothing, merely looking the woman's face over.

"Where did you get that ship?"

His eyes may have been on her image, but he raised a hand to his headset, speaking into it.

"Comm, send a message to @[member="Tyrin Ardik"] that the Iceni and the Gorgon will hold position here to verify that @[member="Viera Kisep"] and her crew are successfully transferred to the Fringe ships. All other Imperial vessels are to leave the area."

Knowing that @[member="Gregor Gideon"], current captain of the Gorgon whilst Pandeima was busy on her various ventures, would get his message to stay, the other 1st Oversector ships quickly exited the field of play.

"You'll have to excuse my seeming unwillingness to implement my full trust, Admiral Karrde, but I've learned the best way to make sure others comply with their part of the bargain is to personally observe them doing it. Captain Gideon, power down your weapons and recall all fighters."

As The Freya tumbled end over end in the blackness of space Soliael simply watched the ships before him. The artificial gravity of the ship held him in place as the ship flipped itself over again and again. He let out a quiet sigh as he watched the Empire's ships slowly back off from the newly arrived Fringe vessels. He couldn't help but feel extreme disappointment as he saw everything unfold before him. He wondered why the Empire would so willing back off. They had the upper hand capital ship wise, the fighter screen that the Fringe had set up was slightly larger but that was it.

The Sith Lord narrowed his eyes slightly and scanned the horizon. He knew the identity of each and every vessel within this system and he knew that the Empire had the upper hand. That was of course not to mention that the Empire could field massive reinforcements whereas the Fringe had their limits.

“How disappointing.” Soliael said as he dropped his face into the palm of his hand. Still he did not order his ship to leave, he wanted to see if anyone would do anything, he wanted to see if they would be tempted.

"Admiral Bosch," said Admiral Karrde, a woman whose face and voice bore no resemblance to Empress Desmius, "that will not be necessary, and you'd do well not to press me on this. Grand Admiral @[member="Viera Kisep"] will hyperjump elsewhere, to a staging point where her crew will disembark. Imperial forces will not attempt to track her, escort her, or otherwise be involved. The ship will be returned at our earliest convenience. These points are not negotiable. By your Emperor's own orders, return to your stations, within Imperial space. Delay is treason against your Empire."

"If you insist, Admiral Karrde, though I do intend to do more reading up as to where you acquired Empress Desimus I's Star Destroyer from. Please, make sure to keep your word on the matter."

And with that, the Iceni and Gorgon exited the field of battle.

Viera, not having gotten the message from Tyrin himself, the poor fool who managed to get the title of Emperor only because everyone of real strength left. She did notice that all ships firing on her were gone and that most of the other imperials had left. So it was her, and well she knew exactly who was here. Viera nodded to her guests and brught both @[member="Sala'dine"] and @Velok to the room they were in earlier.she opened up communications. " Admiral Karrde I must say, this is unexpected. I thank you for coming to my rescue, we were just deciding a course of action. As surely you recognize Lord Velok. We have a plan, one that will end the bounty and let me work for you, as I owe you that much at this point, your gesture is clear, I am to work for the fringe. So, With your permission I will vanish from space, and my body will end up in the Empire's hands. They will get their Viera Kisep, and if you want I will give them the ship too, just not my men. I will make contact with you once my new identity is established. " The communications line was encrypted so that the only people who could hear this plan was Viera, Sal'adine, velok, and the Admiral Karrde"

The immense fighter screen boiled back into the hangars and fighter-racks of Equinox Fleet.

On the holocall, Admiral Karrde's face warped and distorted, becoming another face entirely -- the face of Ashin Varanin. Proof, at last, that she'd survived Moridin's assault on the Vagrant Fleet after all. And proof that Admiral Karrde was Varanin.

"I think a resurrection could be arranged," she said, pale eyes tracking from Sala'dine to Viera to Velok. "Lord Velok has been in that business for a good while. His offers always come with strings attached -- but then, you're one of the few he respected in my day, and I made it my business to know that sort of thing, once upon a time.

"It's past time, I think, to leave this place. I'm sending you a set of coordinates; rendezvous there with me, and we can put this whole mess behind us."

Viera gave the orders and soon her fleet was on the way, she had her engineering teams figuring out the status of the ship, their last engagement had hurt. She had lost alot of good people. She made sure that the civilians, the familes of her men were ok. That was right, Viera had not only taken her men ,but their familes. She wasn't heartless, and sure it was cramped and hard to feed but she had kept her word and provided shelter to the men and women on her vessels. She sighed as she looked to the two in the room with her curious what they had to say. The ship finally left hyperspace as it landed at the coordinates provided.
