- Advanced Broad-Spectrum Long-Range Sensor Suite
- Full Mind-Machine Interface Integration
- Optional Antisepsis Field Generator

- Full Speed Ahead: A flexible drive system allows the Longbow to accelerate to impressive speeds.
- See the Unseen: The Longbow features an oversized sensor dish and a top-notch long-range sensor suite, allowing it to observe a much larger area than many comparable patrol ships, though it is by no means capable of circumventing proper stealth systems.
- Patrol Carrier: External mountings allow the Longbow to carry and refuel a quartet of Stiletto-class Droid Interceptors.
- Full Speed Ahead: The more power is diverted to the engines, the less manoeuvrable the Longbow becomes.
- Exposed Sensors: Large sensor dishes are great for patrol duty, less great for active combat - should the shields go down, any direct hit to the dish is likely to result in its explosive destruction and significant damage to the engines.
- Flyswatter: Neither the Longbow nor its Stilettos are designed to fight anything larger than a gunship or light freighter without weight of numbers. Using it as one would an assault corvette is a recipe for disaster.
Securing a single system is easy enough, with enough resources, but the vastness of space is a different matter altogether. No Republic or Empire could ever hope to enforce its will everywhere at once... but maintaining a presence? That was possible.
Designed to do just this, the Longbow is agile, capable of bursts of speed, and most importantly sporting a hefty sensor suite that would put to shame most vessels four times its size, while remaining cheap enough to be fielded in the numbers required to maintain some level of control over even the most decentralised and lawless of interstellar states - assuming that the state in question has the naval capacity to respond to and neutralise any threats too large for the Longbow to handle on its own... which, it turns out, is just about anything bigger than a bloody light freighter.
