"A witchy side? I wonder what that means. " As far as she knew the witches kept slaves, which seemed counter productive to the cause, but since the Jedi Master didn't know she would reserve judgement.

Her deep green eyes scanned High Justice Temi with curiosity. The woman looked regal and at ease in the environment.

"Do you think we should just approach her?" Katarine also remembered witches were easily offended and that could complicate things.

Turning his head he scanned the group that Tmoxin was speaking to. But because of the throng of bodies between them he couldn't see all of them. Shrugging he winked at Katarine.

"No time like the present. Let's go say hi. And these witches aren't Dathomiri. Some other kind from the Intel I've gathered. Something to find out I guess."

Leading the way he sauntered through the crowd, the cocky gunslinger coming out in him. Sliding through the press of bodies he neared the section that they were standing at. Raising the champagne flute to his lips his eyes froze on a familiar face. Right hand slapped his thigh instinctively at the missing blaster. But as his mind caught up he slowed his breathing. Then Katarine would see him.

The fun part about arriving a little bit later was things were already kicking up. Mara liked that part, so she always made a point to be fashionably late when she could afford to. At least, that was the excuse she gave, the woman was perpetually late by habit more than by choice. She strolled from the shadows of the night where her ride was into the bright, dazzling lights of the ballroom from the overhead crystal chandeliers.

The light landed off her glowing, youthful blue skin with a wonderful shimmer as her hair framed her face in a half-up half down combo that played towards her naturally wavy dark blue hair. In contrast with her vibrant skin, the woman wore a deep-cut, backless little black dress that was incredibly form fitting and accentuated her natural--er--assets. Mara loved to dress to please. It was pretty much the only nice dress she had right now--well, the only dress she had right now. Fresh out of college, she wasn't exactly bathing in the credits just yet, but that was part of what tonight was about.

Shmoozing. Rubbing elbows with potential clients. And (inevitably) getting mistaken for a Chiss. It was ok, her race was something of a dark horse in the grand scheme of the galaxy, while Chiss on the other hand were pretty well known. She didn't mind so much, sometimes it paid off pretty well to get mistaken for the other blue-skinned humanoids. As long as no one was calling her a Trando or a wookie or a Gamorrean things were good.

She strut across the ballroom, whisking a glass of champagne from one of the passing waiters. Her grey eyes swept across the dance floor for anyone who might catch her eye first.

Her deep green eyes followed his when she felt his agitation. The reason was apparent. The man standing just a bit away was none other than a man man they had dealt with that blew up a nursery full of babies. Her eyes narrowed, wondering what in the world he was doing here.

She wondered if maybe he was pretending to be someone he wasn't. It was likely, but he couldn't hope his cover would stay when he spotted the pair of them. It was going to be a long meeting.

It seemed the night and it's guests were growing more interesting. Turning slightly his blue eyes gazed upon two faces he hadn't seen in what felt like eons. He was younger then, and more chaotic. A Sith with a death wish and an affinity for destruction. He wasn't that man anymore. Well, at least not completely that man anymore. A loud chuckle echoed out as he motioned for the two new arrivals to join the large group.

"Welcome and let me introduce the wonderful Master Katarine Ryiah and the infamous Eli Corsair. I've known these two for some time and yet we've never before seen quite eye to eye."

A knowing smirk crossed his face as he remembered a trip on Bespin and another time on Coruscant. A different time. A different Muad. He wasn't the wanton BattleLord of the Sith anymore. Yet he couldn't help the smile mockery in his grin.

"What brings the two of you to the Confederacy? Perhaps we may find ourselves as allies hmm?"

Bella turned and looked in the direction that Muadie's gaze too her. She tilted her head slightly and took in the couple before them.

"Welcome" She gave a side glance to Muadie, "Clearly they want to drink and make merry." Oh how well did he know them that familiar tone he had just said he knew them better than he wanted to admit.

She'd have to poke him about that a bit.
