Private Let's get ready to RUUUMBLE!

Shai blinked in surprise as he answered her question. She figured he was some sort of top dog in the village, but to be the top dog wasn't up there. It certainly shifted the way she looked at him. "Well that explains a lot." she muttered as she watched him get up. The first thing she noted was his full suit of armour. Not good.

"Does it have to be today, though? I'm still recovering from yesterday." she complained, knowing that it won't help her at all. He drew her attention to the crate full of armour next to him. She picked up some of the pieces, studying them over for several moments, glancing back at him. "It's like you want Nira to chase my tail." she quipped with a smirk. With that done, he helped her to suit up. Shai was clearly uncomfortable with the full suit of armour, but she knew that she'd better get used to the feeling. Once she was suited up, she studied the helmet with a small smile. It felt like she achieved something finally, looking at the helmet that was made specifically for her. She slowly slid it on, getting used to the feeling. The filtered breathing echoed back to her, making her sound like some sort of badass warrior. She glanced at him then around her to get a feel for the visor's narrower field of vision. "Alright then, time to try and kick your ass again." she quipped, a smirk forming behind her helmet.

She accompanied him to the fighting rings, taking up her position across from him. She was nervous to say the least. She was a lot slower now compared to the first time she fought him, but in turn she became a lot stronger. She was confident that she give him a proper run for his money now.

Once the signal was given, she brought her hands up in a defensive position, carefully approaching him. She knew his style by now, but that didn't mean that she would have an easier time. He was still the Alor, after all...

Kragr Krayt Kragr Krayt

Kragr raised his eyebrow at Shai, "no time like the present" stated the red-haired Mandalorian before he helped her put the temporary beskar-gam on. As Shai got used to having armour on, Kragr walked over to an open area a couple of feet from where Shai stood and waited for the mutt to follow him.

Once she followed him, she would find she stood inside of a 20x20 feet sized fighting ring with sensors placed in each corner in the ground. "You don't always face fair odds in battle and those capable of turning bad odds against the opponent(s), have what it takes to call themselves a Mandalorian warrior" explained Kragr and started to point each corner out. "Each corner are issued with sensors, forming a 20x20 feet squared ring for us to fight. The moment one of us step outside of the ring, it will notify us through our helmet." explained the large Mandalorian.

"Any questions?" Asked Kragr, before they would begin. If Shai had no questions, placed Kragr his helmet over his head and waited for her to do the same, if she hadn't already equipped her own helmet.

While Shai didn't have a large area to move around, it was still the size of a boxing ring. Standing his full height, Kragr stood intimidated as ever and watched the mutt before him. Ready or not, Kragr jumped towards her, using his jetpack to give him a boost. Coming directly at Shai with his shoulder aiming to slam directly into her to take her out in one attack.

Shai Maji Shai Maji

Kragr laid out the catch in the fight for her. Their fighting space was a lot smaller than it appeared. Shai glanced around, letting the HUD show where the borders were. "No questions at all." she replied with confidence, a smirk forming on her lips. If she could give him a good thrashing as a twig, this should be a lot better for her.

Or so she thought...

"OH CRAP!" she shouted as she ducked out of the way, letting him fly past her on his jetpack. "Hey!" she shouted at him. She was about to mention that it wasn't fair... but then again, that was the whole idea of this fight. She was just going to have to level the playing field. A bit of a challenge, given the fact that she was completely unarmed.

She was steadily on her feet in an instant, hands at the ready to block or grapple as she needed. Her focus was that jet pack. There weren't a lot of ways she could disable it with her bare hands. And unfortunately, this suit's vambraces didn't have anything for her to utilize in this fight. He was forcing her to think hard outside the box for this mess. Her mind went all over the place, looking for something to use against him. At the end of the day, she was going to have to play defensively for this one. He was bound to take a misstep or something and that was what she was waiting for. Just one opening to even the odds a little...

Kragr Krayt Kragr Krayt

Kragr skid across the ground, tearing up grass and dirt. In an impressive display of acrobatics, he used his jetpack for another boost as he jumped towards Shai again coming in with his fist. Kragr expected the mutt to dodge because if she didn't, she would feel the full force of his war gauntlet. Kragr's gauntlet was no joke as they were capable of cracking heavy durasteel like it was butter.

"Pay attention" ordered the red-haired Mandalorian as he went in for his next attack. If Shai dodged, she would watch as Kragr's fist connect with the ground, creating a fist-sized hole. The large Mandalorian quickly pulled his hand out and went for an uppercut, not holding back at all.

A few of the kids, that Shai had gotten to know quite well, had snuck away from their parents, to watch Shai fight with the Alor. Silently, they cheered Shai from their half cover hiding place.

Shai Maji Shai Maji

She was rather jealous over the jetpack when he managed to turn on a dime and come at her again with a powerfist that she wanted to steal. She was going to be looking into that after the fight. Regardless, she managed to avoid his punch and clear away far enough to avoid the impressive hole caused by the punch he landed on the ground. She was quite soundly impressed. "I want one for my birthday." she muttered as she stared at the ground. Her focus was regained when he came with an uppercut at her.

She leaned back and avoided the punch, not wanting to lose her head just yet, and grabbed hold of his arm. She used the brief moment to hold onto his arm and land a hard kick to his gut before she pulled back, grabbing hold of his glove to pull it along with her. She quickly made some room between her and him as she tossed her own glove aside to slip on the fancy new glove. "I'm holding onto this for myself, by the way." she taunted as she got ready to move again. In the corner of her eye she spotted the children. She wasn't exactly happy about it but she didn't let it affect her focus. She didn't want an audience to watch while she got her ass handed to herself yet again.

With her new weapon, she charged at him with her fists at the ready. Unless he tried to interrupt, she would take a swing at his head with her normal hand while she kept her weaponized hand at the ready to block. If it could do that much with a punch, it might be pretty damn useful to block the brute of a guy from taking a swing at her body...

Kragr Krayt Kragr Krayt

Normally it would have been impossible to just pulled Kragr's armour pieces off without detaching them, but whether he had been a bit sloppy with his gauntlet or he simply forgot it, was not important. What was important, was the fact that Shai seemed to be overconfident from stealing his war gauntlet. Shai's kick pretty much had no effect and was as if she had kicked a brick wall.

Seeing her fist coming at him, he performed a surprisingly quick dance around Shai, rotating around his punch ending up behind the woman. While spinning around, he pulled his Sonic War Hammer and hammered it into the back of Shai with all of his strength. While the war hammer is capable of lethal, it was only toggled to stun as lethal setting were easily able to shatter titanium. The moment the warhammer connected with Shai's back, a near-supersonic blast wailed throughout the whole area, not only would cause disorientation but also send her 40 feet out of the ring. Luckily she wouldn't lose consciousness, due to the armour she had on.

However, if she somehow managed to dodge the swing of the warhammer, Kragr would come in with yet another swing with the hammer, going for her chest.

Shai Maji Shai Maji

Shai was ready for some kind of retaliation from him. It would never be so easy against the Alor of her new clan. He moved around her punch with the graceful beauty of a bantha as he brought his hammer out. Moving with a bit of panic now fueling her, she spun around to meet him and brought the crushgaunt up to punch at the head of his warhammer. The shot of the sonic hammer against her hand sent a horrible pain throughout her left forearm as well as a bit of the upper arm, earning a harsh yelp from the girl. She definitely broke something in there. The sonic shot also sent her arm recoiling back past her body, only adding to the pain.

She didn't let that stop her, though. With desperation and adrenaline spurring her on, she reached out to try and steal one of his pistols. If successful, she would move with one fluid motion to switch the weapon to stun and fire a bolt straight into his center mass. Though at this point she was waiting for that one inevitable shot that would knock her into the next month. It was a total mismatch of a fight to begin with... but force-dammit, she wasn't going to give in. Not when she had given up so much time to give this new direction in life her all. Win or lose, she wasn't going to give up on this fight.

Kragr Krayt Kragr Krayt

Hadn't it been for the fight, Kragr would have been impressed by her reaction to turn around, but sadly the sheer force his Warhammer packed was enough to fill her entire body with a shockwave, break her entire arm and some of the shoulder. It's a damn miracle that Shai's arm wasn't ripped from its socket in the shoulder. Flying at least 40 feet back through the air, the girl would land with a heavy thud and continue rolling a few more feets, pulling up grass and dirt.

Going back into a relaxed state, Kragr walked with determined steps and holstered the hammer. Coming over to Shai, he looked down at the Shistavanenan with his faceless helmet. The red-haired Alor could only imagine the insane amount of pain She was in. Kneeling down by her, he received his gauntlet back and snapped it back, locking the gauntlet securely this time.

If the girl didn't fight it, he would lift her up in his strong arms and begin to carry her back to the village without a word spoken. Arriving at the medical doctor of the village, was Shai placed on a table. "Doc, she need medical aid" explained Kragr and let the elder man get room. The doctor didn't even question what why, but didn't look over the broken arm and shoulder.

Kragr finally removed his helmet and clipped it to his belt, and gave Shai a very mentor and teacherly look, "of all the things, you decided to do. Punching my war hammer was a stupid decision!" scolded Kragr, before he looked back up to the doctor. "How long?" Asked the Alor with his questing look.

"Give or take how broken, I'll say a couple of weeks, minimumly" stated the doctor before even giving it a inspecting. Nodding, Kragr looked back down to Shai while the doctor would prepare to take care the the young mutt. "You're getting a temporary pause in your training, but the moment you're heal, it's back to training" explained the Alor, maybe a bit too stern. He turned around to leave and exited the door to the clinic.

Injecting Shai with morphine to take a lot of the pain, he along with some 2-1B-series medical droids, rolled the young Shistavanenan into another room. The other room had a large Bacta Tank getting prepared for her, along with a bunch of other medical gear, tools and basically what one would expect to find at a medical building.

Shai Maji Shai Maji

Pain shot through her body as she flew through the air. She crashed into the ground but still kept rolling, hammering her battered body even further. Finally she stopped rolling and finally got to feel the full extent of her injuries. Groaning, she tried to move but was unable to. To make it worse, the pain in her arm only kept climbing until she was whimpering on the ground with tears forming in her eyes. She heard him come closer but couldn't even turn around to look at him. Even the slightest movements shot another wave of pain through her left arm. She cried out as he yanked the gauntlet off and picked her up. She finally took note of her surroundings through her foggy eyes and tried to move her arm, only causing more pain. "Krag, I can't move my arm!" she cried out as she managed to pick it up and lay it down on her chest.

They arrived at the infirmary and she managed to pull her helmet off, dropping it to the floor beside her. With blurry eyes she looked at him as he chewed her out over her bad call. "The risk I took was calculated... but man, am I bad at math." she joked with a weak snicker, which quickly turned into a groan and whimper as she accidentally tried to move her dominant arm. She managed to hear the estimate of how long her injury would take, but she wasn't ready for what Kragr said. With big eyes she stared up at him, trying to figure out what to say. "No, wai-" she tried to speak up, but was cut off when he walked away and the droids carted her off. "Krag! Wait!" she cried out with pain, trying to get up, but it was no use.

She was stripped of her armour and injected with some drugs to help with the pain, though when she saw the bacta tank, she tried to back up on the gurney. "No please, wait! Not in there!" she cried out. Though the droids proceeded to strap her up and link her to the various wires and tubes needed. Before she could even try to run off, she was in the tank... throwing her back to a very nasty memory.

She was back in the sewers on Nar Shaddaa, feeling the Diagona wrapping its tentacles around her limbs and throat. She tried to scream, but nothing happened. With only one instinct, she clawed her way up and out of the tank with her one responsive arm and took off. Drenched from head to toe and dressed in her tank top and ski pants, she blundered through the halls, looking for the exit. She spotted a light through her hazy vision and burst through the door. Her mind was a mess. She didn't know what was going on, or where she ended up. She needed to find Kragr. Her blurry vision spotted a red figure with a ginger head and she ran after him as quickly as her drugged up body could handle. When she reached him, she grabbed hold of his arm with the only arm that functioned and blundered into him. "Krag, wait." she blubbered as she tried to stand upright, swaying violently. "I-I can... I..." she mumbled, leaning against him for support. "I can train... I... don't throw me back into the sewers." she blundered as her thoughts bounced all over.

A goofy laugh soon escaped her as she looked up at him with pupils the size of saucers. "Hehe... ginger midget." she bubbled as she stuck a finger into his beard, unable to keep her mind in check as the morphine took hold.

The doctor called after as she dashed from the medical building and left. Rushing after her, he called again; "get back here, you need to get back to the bacta tank!". He almost caught up to her, when she managed to find Kragr again.

Kragr, on the other hand, was talking with a couple of the current sentries, that was about to head out on patrol. Hearing the doctor's voice call for someone, he automatically turned, only to receive a rather delirious run right into him and grabbing hold of his armour. Placing a hand on her healthy shoulder and one under her armpit. "Shai, you're delirious" commented the red-haired Mandalorian, looking her over.

The doctor stopped by them, "she managed to get out before the drug kicked in" explained the doctor, and went to take her back, but was halted by Kragr raising his hand. "I'll carry her back" explained the Alor and easily lifted her up in his arms, while shaking his head from Shai's goofy bubbled.

The doctor followed his Alor and Shai back to the medical building, so Shai could get back into the bacta tank. If she tried to get free or other means of getting away from the bacta tank, the redheaded Mandalorian held an iron grip on her. "Are you going to relax, if I stay and keep watch?" Asked Kragr as he stood inside of the room again, with her in his arms.

Nevertheless, he was getting her in the bacta tank, one way or another. If she still wasn't willing, she would be put under anaesthesia, but that was only if she truly couldn't relax. Else, she would hear the doctor, when Shai was getting lowered back into the bacta tank, she was getting reassured that everything would be alright.

Nevertheless, Kragr kept his word and stayed by her side, throughout the whole time she was in a bacta tank as he had promised.

As time passed on, Shai finished and healed her broken shoulder and arm. However, even though Kragr said their training would continue the moment she got out, the doctor withheld Shai a bit longer in bed. While Shai was forced to stay in bed, by the doctor, Kragr found another way to have Shai be trained. One morning, after her breakfast, the same teacher, that had taught Shai and the kids about being a Mandalorian, had been placed as Shai personal teacher, for the remaining time in bed.

Oh, Kragr was sure, the mutt hated him for putting her through the boring schooling, but it was important teachings, to become a Mandalorian.

When Shai was finally released from the doctor with a small lecture on not getting hurt again, though they both knew that was a lie.

Over the next year or so, Shai went through very extensive and gruelling training, some of it having her very close to dying a couple of times. Nevertheless, at the end of the year, Shai had both gotten stronger, faster and very popular with the kids, often having them mimic her, which got them into a bit of trouble with their parents for being smartasses.

Then, one evening, after dinner in the meat hall, Shai was led by Kragr over to the blacksmith, who for the very first time, greeted her in Mando'a, like a proper Mandalorian. That day, she was allowed to help the blacksmith make her own armour, to shape and form it to her liking. The armour was very basic looking and didn't have much of customizations like Kragr's Beskar'gam. Her beskar'gam did, however, have the correct colours she wanted, but only a standard jetpack and vambraces. The jetpack could be equipped with one rocket. The vambraces, however, came with a flamethrower and com on the left vambrace, while the right had whipcord system built-in, along with with a small buckler energy shield.

As Shai got to fangirl and geek out over being allowed to work on her own armour and gear, Kragr used the time to set up training, to reflect proper Mandalorian training. She knew how to fight and had some knowledge by now, how to fight with armour on, but fighting with the real deal on was different.

Over the next year or so, Shai was put through even harder training. A lot of one-on-one fighting with different members of the clan and of course the Alor himself. She was trained in how to effectively use her Beskar'gam's gear in a fight and how to not tire herself out after a few fights.

~~Winter~~

"Good, but still too slow!" lectured Kragr, looking down at Shai, who laid in a deep pocket of snow. "Stop thinking about the cold, block it!" Explained Kragr with arms crossed. Shai by now pretty much knew everyone in the clan and many saw her as part of the clan itself. A few teased her for being a twig, because of her slim stature and it soon got turned into her nickname in the village by most of the larger Mandalorians. With that said, it was fully expected almost, that she shot back during dinner as that was just what it was like to be part of clan Loc.

Winter was especially rough and could easily hit dive down in the -50 on particularly cold days and there was no mercy for the kid as Kragr would train with her through all types of weather.

One fresh morning, after a strong blizzard Kragr was sitting by his own house, cleaning his blaster pistol. It was the last day before he felt Shai was ready to leave the nest, so to speak. He was waiting for her to arrive as he had one last thing, he wanted to teach her.

Kragr said something but Shai didn't register at all. She merely giggled like an idiot as she tried to lean against him. Next thing she knew, she was hoisted up and carried back to the infirmary. "Ooh, gentleman." she quipped before going into another giggle fit. When she was on the gurney again, she noticed through her hazy sight the bacta tank. Instinctively she tried to back up again with a terrified whimper, but Kragr promptly halted her. She groaned as she tried to free herself from his iron grip, but it was impossible with her broken arm. He extended his condition and she looked up at him with desperate eyes. With a dazed nod, she agreed to his offer and let herself be lowered into the bacta tank. Sure enough, he stayed with her until she finally passed out in the tank.

As her recovery stretched on, she was demoralized to hear that Kragr assigned a teacher to her. But she quickly came to terms and understood why he did it. After all, even a boring history lesson was better than the deathly silence she had to contend with everytime she woke up. After another few weeks, she was released with a fixed arm and surprisingly expansive knowledge of Mando history and culture. Though, it still didn't mean that she liked it. But sure enough, Kragr kept true to his word and her training continued right where they left off. It was hard but she soldiered through it with plenty more breaks and scars. It took its toll on the Shistavanen but she kept fighting. She had something to prove to him and to herself. And she wasn't going to let it go.

To her surprise, Kragr dragged her along to the blacksmith's house one night after dinner. She wasn't ready at all for the news he dropped on her. She was ecstatic to receive her armour and, while the starting gear wasn't bad, she was already thinking of other stuff to add to it as she got to work on it. It didn't take long before she was strutting around the village with her armour fully equipped. She was getting used to wearing full armour... but even her getting used to it didn't ready her for winter...

***********

Ploughing into the snow, Shai heard the muffled voice of Kragr through her helmet and the blanket of snow around her head. But all he received in return were a bunch of muffled Mando'a cuss words. She was getting used to rain, sun and all other types of weather. But she wasn't ready for the snow. Between her winter pelt making her suit uncomfortable and the freezing cold constantly around her anytime she broke her suit's vacuum seal, she hated the winter on the planet with a passion. But she would soldier through it. After all, the cold made it wonderful to climb into bed with a mug of hot chocolate.

The rest of her time had its ups and downs as well, naturally. She earned a nickname that quickly became ironic but she rolled with it. 'Twig' was a good one. It reminded her of where she came from and how much she changed.

One particular day, she received word that KRagr wanted to do something. Fully geared up to fight off the cold, she waded through the snow towards his house. <"Thank kriff this suit is insulated. Though I don't think anyone expected a winter pelt ta be an issue."> she quipped in her warped Mando'a as she reached him, leaning against the wall beside him. <"Ya wanted ta talk?"> she asked casually as she glanced down at him. She knew tomorrow was the big day for her. The day where she found out if she really was going to be a part of them. So she was quite curious what he had in mind on this particular day...

Kragr glanced up at Shai as she came up to him and lean up against the wall. <"Good to see you've taken well to Mando'a"> complimented the large Alor as he returned his gaze to the almost empty cup of warm mead. It had been quite snowing the last couple of days, leaving fresh white undisturbed in the morning before anyone would wake up.

<"I received something special I want to show you"> explained Kragr relaxed, leaning back in his chair. He had to wait quite a long time for the arrival of his orders, he wanted to show Shai. Downing the last bit of meat, he rose from his chair and looked to the girl, <"come along"> said Kragr, nodding in the direction of the training fields.

Ah, the training fields, Shai more or less would have seen them every day over the last almost 2 years of her life. Walking past the spot she would fight Kragr and lose a lot, they stopped by the shooting range. On a recently cleared table for snow, laid three weapons, two RP-05A Ripper Pistols and a Pulse Cannon. Beside the cannon and pistols, was placed two types of ammo for each weapon.

Grabbing one of the pistols, Shai would recognize it as the same pistol that Kragr himself uses. With a quick reload and armed, like it was second nature, Kragr looked at Shai. "RP-05A Ripper Pistol, from the Breshig War Forge Consolidated" introduced Kragr, going back to Basic and switching off the safety mature and aimed it at a robot with a shield activated. Insanely powerful and loud, after a could of shots, the slugs broke through, shredding the shield and armour.

"Duranium frame, and able to withstand all manner of punishment. Dallorian alloy barrel keeps the weapon from overheating during pitched firefights. Has the ability to bypass energy shielding, which will strip the energy coating of a round fired but allow the projectile to pass through." Started Kragr to explain, handing Shai over the pistol to get a feel for it.

"Particle shielding or combination units, however, will still stop the round dead in its tracks, so remember that. The energy coating of a ripper enables it to better penetrate armour, superheating the site of impact and potentially weakening the armour for the round that follows." Finished the red-haired Mandalorian and grabbed the Pulse Cannon.

"PPC-01 Phased Pulse Cannon, also from the Breshig War Forge Consolidated" explained Kragr, introducing the canon as he held the very heavy weapon. "A beauty of great destruction" commented the Alor and reloaded the canon with easy.

"the PPC-01 was designed to deal with light and medium armoured vehicles as well as individuals with an overly inflated opinion of themselves. It features a Dallorian alloy barrel and a cryo cooling lattice to alleviate overheating issues and locks down firing controls to perform a coolant flush when it reaches a critical temperature" explained Kragr with a wicked smirk.

Aiming the cannon at a light armoured heavy droid, the Alor fired the weapon. As he held the trigger down, the light armour was lit up with thick holes, completely destroying the light armour plate.

Placing the cannon back, he took a step back to give Shai room at the shooting table. A group of droids with a wrist energy shield walked in, lining up for Shai, placing themselves in different range, increasing the difficulty for the girl.

The was also placed light armour plates, some hanging, others leaned up against crates, ready for whenever Shai is. "Knock yourself out, Twig" grinned Kragr, sitting down on a crate by them.

He complimented her on her Mando'a, earning a shrug from the Shistavanen. <"Still workin' on it, though.>" she quipped as she looked around them. She looked back to him when he spoke up once more, tilting her head a little at the mention of him wanting to show her something. <"No spoiler's I take it?"> she commented with a smirk as she fell in behind him to see whatever it was he wanted to show her.

They walked through the snow and eventually reached the shooting range like they did every other time. What made this time different, however, was the brand new weapons resting on the table along with plenty of ammo for them. A smile formed on her lips as she studied the weapons then looked back to Kragr as he loaded one of the pistols. She folded her arms in amusement as he explained the weapon away like a sales rep. "Krag... you know I'm a gun runner, right? I've sold dozens of these things over the years." she quipped as she accepted the pistol, looking it over and playing around with it. He went on to explain the rifle to her, though she hoped that he would stop hogging it so she could hold it as well. When he finished with his demonstration, he stepped back and took a seat.

She blinked in surprise at his words as she looked the weapons over. "Well, don't mind if I karking do." she quipped as she took aim with the pistol and fired away at the targets. After a few magazines she picked up the other one and simply started to mess around with them. When she had her fun with the pistols, she picked up the rifle and fired away with a maniacal cackle. After nearly depleting all the ammo on the table, she finally set it down and looked back to Kragr as she picked up a pistol. "Okay, this is great and all. I can stand here all day if we had the ammo for it. But what's the idea here?" she asked as she played with the pistol. She looked up at him as she rested the gun against her shoulder. "What's all this for?" she asked simply, hoping that her suspicions were correct...

Kragr Krayt Kragr Krayt

Kragr's eyes narrowed when she quipped to have sold dozens of these types of guns. While he didn't bring it up as let the girl try the guns, there would have been no way she could have resold these types of guns legally, as that goes directly against the Breshig War Forge Consolidated laws. Not to mention, more or less only Mandalorians bought for the Breshig War Forge, so the girl could only have done it through the black market.

Nevertheless, that wasn't very important and didn't really matter to the large Mandalorian. Watching Shai go to town with all three weapons, a smile crept upon his lips. With arms crossed, Kragr released a good hearty laugher, "what's all this for? Well it's your final gift from me" explained the red-haired man, spreading his arms out to both sides. "It's the end of the line for you here under my training. You've learned more or less what you need to learn and to get the real experience and training as a Mandalorian, you'll have to venture out into the world Twig" explained Kragr and got up from his crate.

"While you were shooting your new weapons, I had some of the guys load up all the ammunition to your weapons in your ship, and believe me, there's a lot" laughed Kragr and started to head back to the village. "Come along, the rest is waiting for us," said Kragr, nodded for Shai to follow.

Sure enough, he got the toys for her. A broad grin formed as he spoke and by the time he got ready to go back to the village, she rushed to wrap her arms around him in a tight hug. "THANK YOU!" she shouted as she moved back to holster her new toys. The pistols were clipped to the magnetic plates on her thighs and the cannon was draped over her shoulder. She fell in beside him and calmly walked with him back to the village. But halfway there she stopped. "Hey Krag. I got a question..." she started gently as she looked at him.

"I've told you about my mom, right? Well... I'm close to paying her bail. I almost got enough to finally bail her out. But I don't want her to get back into the smuggler's life. I don't want that risk again. So I wanted to ask... could she stay here as well?" she asked him as she removed her helmet to face him properly. "I don't know how she'll mesh with the culture or if she'll join it. But I was hoping that I could buy a house or something for us to live in once I manage to get her out." she explained softly, closing the distance as she looked up at him. Truthfully, she doubted that her mother would join the culture at all. She might learn the language and help out around the place, sure, but she doubted that the stubborn mutt of a woman would become a Mando like she did. Regardless, she simply wanted a place for her mother to stay and be safe.

But she was now at the mercy of her Alor. The safety of his people and the culture was what mattered most to him, she understood that. She just hoped that he could let it slide this once for her mother's sake. Otherwise she was going to have to go back to the drawing board...

Kragr also turned around and punch Shai just out of reflects for getting jumped, but kept himself from doing it, since it wasn't an attack. Turning around to watch the girl run back to get the weapon, a smile formed, despite not showing much of it, he did feel a sense of pride over, Shai's transformation into a Mandalorian. As she returned, he turned around and continued towards to village.

"Hm?" hummed the large Mando glancing to Shai. "Vaguely" commented the Alor as he turned to really look at Shai. Kragr went quiet, hearing her request for her mom to stay at the village. After a bit of silent walking, thinking over the request, Kragr stopped right before they entered the village. More people started to fill the lonely village with life as their day-to-day life and job started. Children being sent for lectures or combat training, while morning sentries finished their shift, letting evening sentries take over.

Looking first at his village and then back at Shai, "It isn't exactly just moving in here, Twig" said Kragr, mentioning to the village with his open arm. "Everything you see here is built by ourself, you can't just rent a place, which you should be familiar with being placed with the young and foundlings" explained Kragr with a serious look. "She will have to be able to put in her weight in the village, especially during winter" continued Kragr to explain and continued their walk into the village.

"It will be easier for her if she adjusted to the Mandalorian way, but if she's able to carry herself and contribute to my village, I'll see if I can get something set up," said Kragr finally. He wasn't a harshness man, but he wouldn't see Shai's mother as equally important as everyone else if she decided to not accept the Mandalorian culture.

They would soon find themselves in front of a lot of the village residents, standing between Kragr, Shai and her Ship. "Most that know you, came to wish you safe journey" grinned Kragr. Most of the warriors were there, giving her a hearty slap on the back or giving her a bear hug, "we'll gonna miss seeing your sorry arse getting kicked Twig" joked the Warriors with a laugh. The children that had grown particularly fond of the Shistavanen girl, all gave her hugs, while some of the more older kids acted tough in front of her, trying to show they weren't going to miss her.

The Blacksmith stood by his forge with crossed arms and nodded in Shai's direction, but didn't say anything to her. Lastly, the teacher to her Mando'a and whole culture of the Mandalorians, stepped forward. She started to give her a lecture in not forgetting to keep studying, speak Mando'a, even to strangers, acting very much motherly to her.

As the last person to wish Shai a safe journey, was Kragr, standing tall like the Alor he was, "save journey Shai Maji Loc" wished Kragr her, saying her full name, adding her now Clan Name. With a hand on her shoulder, "you're a Loc now, don't forget it and don't kriff it up Twig" said the Alor, sounding rather stern, though he wore a wide grin, clearly not being too serious.

Once Shai would leave the village and enter her ship, she would find her whole ship's cargo, had been filled up with ammunition for her two pistols and rifle.

She waited in anticipation for him to give his answer, hoping that it would be good news. He finally started to explain his issues with having someone in the clan who was not a Mando. Shai completely understood his issues, nodding in confirmation. "She'll be able to carry her weight, don't worry. She's tough. But I will talk to her. Explain to her the situation. I'm sure after a while she might wanna learn about the stuff and try to join." she assured him wuth a warm smile. "Thanks, Krag." she spoke gently as she entered the village again alongside him. However what awaited them was not what she expected.

Pretty much everyone she knew in the village stood in front of them, waiting their turns to see her off.

The children swarmed her and the warriors she trained with wished her well in their own way. All the attention was overwhelming but Shai cherished it as much as she could. She had grown close to these people in the past year and a half. Having to leave wasn't going to be nice for her.

By the time she reached Kragr, tears were forming in her eyes as a bright smile adorned her lips. He gave his greeting but Shai said nothing back. Instead she pulled him into a tight hug for several moments before stepping back. "Thanks. For everything." she said softly as she walked past and boarded her ship.

She was taken back by all the ammo but she was definitely going to make good use of it all. Reaching the cockpit, she started up her ship and looked out of the window at the crowd. With a sniff she gave a final wave goodbye and slowly lifted the ship off the ground.

As she flew off, she reminisced over how they touched her in the past year. Though one thing was for certain. She wasn't going to be gone forever.
