At Peace
Shai blinked in surprise as he answered her question. She figured he was some sort of top dog in the village, but to be the top dog wasn't up there. It certainly shifted the way she looked at him. "Well that explains a lot." she muttered as she watched him get up. The first thing she noted was his full suit of armour. Not good.
"Does it have to be today, though? I'm still recovering from yesterday." she complained, knowing that it won't help her at all. He drew her attention to the crate full of armour next to him. She picked up some of the pieces, studying them over for several moments, glancing back at him. "It's like you want Nira to chase my tail." she quipped with a smirk. With that done, he helped her to suit up. Shai was clearly uncomfortable with the full suit of armour, but she knew that she'd better get used to the feeling. Once she was suited up, she studied the helmet with a small smile. It felt like she achieved something finally, looking at the helmet that was made specifically for her. She slowly slid it on, getting used to the feeling. The filtered breathing echoed back to her, making her sound like some sort of badass warrior. She glanced at him then around her to get a feel for the visor's narrower field of vision. "Alright then, time to try and kick your ass again." she quipped, a smirk forming behind her helmet.
She accompanied him to the fighting rings, taking up her position across from him. She was nervous to say the least. She was a lot slower now compared to the first time she fought him, but in turn she became a lot stronger. She was confident that she give him a proper run for his money now.
Once the signal was given, she brought her hands up in a defensive position, carefully approaching him. She knew his style by now, but that didn't mean that she would have an easier time. He was still the Alor, after all...
