Command Center​

The heart of the Defense Platform, the Command Center is constantly manned by no less than 200 men at any given moment. Along with a competent staff of Naval Officers there are engineers, electricians, deck hands, security teams, technicians, and any other support staff needed to ensure that the L'enfer runs smoothly. The Command Center is a highly defended point, accessible through three phrik-reinforced blast doors that can be sealed via ray shielding technology. The Command Center is home to a standing Security Team of fifty Illyrian Skirmishers trained in close-hand combat and armed to defend the staff and primary controls. The Command Center has direct and primary access to all functions and systems for the entire platform spread over a number of terminals.

Military Barracks​

At any given moment there are one thousand Illyrian Royal Sailors, Marines, & Auxiliary troops to ensure the platform remains secure and in the hands of the Illyrian military. The Barracks Wing of the Platform is outfitted with everything the soldiers stationed on the platform will need to ensure they maintain physical and mental readiness, including a mess hall and medic's wing. The Barracks is outfitted with a number of lounge areas including one with an off-duty bar cube to be utilized by soldiers attempting to relax. The wing is split into four floors, each one capable of hosting three hundred and fifty soldiers. Every floor of the Barracks wing has a training field that is open to the service member's for their use. Each room in the military barracks has sealing features to protect the lives of the soldiers within. The bunks can be transformed into safety bunkers, holding every soldier secure and sealing themselves with a limited oxygen supply. The Military Barracks is also home to a functional armory, capable of fully outfitting the entirety of the Regiment that is hosted on the station. The armory is code-secured and only the licensed Illyrian armorers have access.

Functional Drydocks​

One of the greatest functions of L'enfer is that the station is composed of three advanced drydock systems. These docking ports are capable of constructing moderate sized Battlecruisers (3,000 meters or less) and can make minor repairs to heavy Battlecruisers (4,000). The Drydocks are completely manned by the Illyrian Shipwright Guild, who have been contracted out by the Royal Military to supply the planet with a number of military grade Starships. Each Drydock is outfitted with a number of Shipwright teams that work tirelessly to construct, reconstruct, and repair whatever project had been laid at their feet. The Drydocks are primary defense points of the station as they are constructed with a number of manufacturing bays and service hatches that can allow access to the platform. The station's primary Ion Cannons are strategically placed just above each of the three drydocks, to ensure that no ships can easily assault those soft target zones.

Reactor Core Chambers​

In the depths of the station is a single Proton-8 Reactor Core. This core provides the entire Platform with an immense power supply that grants energy to the entire station. The power core is safely chambered within three foot thick Durasteel walls with an Electromagnetic shielding system to keep the power supply safe from sensor/power reading technology. Due to the immense power output that this chamber creates mostly droid units work in the Core Chamber, with their own internal charging docks as well as all supplies needed to see to maintenance and refit. There are a number of security measures to ensure that the Station's Core maintains functional, including an automated turret system, vacuum seal, remotely controlled drawbridge, and eight security droids prepared to eliminate any unauthorized intruders.

E-WAR Cyber Control​

The L'enfer is outfitted with one of the most advanced E-WAR systems in the galaxy. The L'enfer's EWAR system is capable of disrupting sensor/tracker returns, counter and disrupt enemy jamming measures, encrypt native functions, systems, and communications networks. The system is also able to faithfully mask the station's workings so that it remains undetectable by more advanced sensor kits. It is also capable of decrypting enemy files and networks at an exceptionally fast rate. The sensor kit works best against passive sensor detection technology, while more hardened sensor technology can breach the station's Electronic mask. The E-War system is capable of being modified so that it can be fundamentally controlled via an automated intelligence unit. The E-War has a number of nodules spread over the station's hull that actively scan the space around the planet and station to provide a real-time holo representation of the entire area, as well as a CGT system.

Planetary Shield Generator {X}​

One of the greatest assets of L'enfer is the planetary shield generator stored in the base of the station. Part of the reason that the Defense Platform must remain in orbit over the world of Illyria is the planetary shield stored within it. The planetary shield is a deflector shield that is intended to defend the world from orbital bombardment and debris in the event of an upper-atmosphere space battle. The Deflector shield defending Illyria is an exceptionally strong one, however due to the planet's huge size it decreases the overall effectiveness of the shield a bit. All controls managing the planetary shield's systems are held within the platform's Command Center.

• Well Defended: L'enfer was designed to act as the center of Illyria's Naval Defense Network. Along with being crafted of exceptionally resilient metals it is magnetically sealed and reinforced to ensure that the platform can take a considerable beating before breaking apart or going into a critical state. Along with having a dual-shield defense system, the platform is also outfitted with a planetary defense shield to defend Illyria from incoming bombardment or falling debris from war in the skies.
• Great Firepower: To facilitate the defense of Illyria, L'enfer is outfitted with a formidable offensive weapons kit. Along with hundreds of turbolasers and four fully powered ION cannons, the base hosts a number of RAIL gun weapons systems to fire hardened projectiles against enemy craft.
• Hangar Size: The Platform is capable of fielding fifty squadrons of support craft, most of which are starfighters, to grant the planet a decisive fighter defense force.

• Immobile: The Planetary Platform has minor starship engines to keep it in orbit above the world of Illyria, however it does not posses the ability to move at a rate that would be of any notice. Even when the ship is not projecting a shield over the planet it is not able to move outside of Illyria's upper atmosphere.
• Massive Power Requirements: This Platform requires a huge amount of power to be considered functional. Even without the planetary shield generator the power needs of the Drydock and Defense Web are considerable, if any damage is taken to the power generator then it will be forced to rely on the many backup generators spread over the ship, none of which can keep the platform at optimal function for longer than twenty or thirty minutes. The planetary shield cannot function without the primary reactor core.

L'enfer is one of the technological Wonders of the planet. It is an orbital defense platform that also works as a functional drydock and planetary shield system. Spanning 5,000 meters in length and width, it was designed to be the Iron Wall to defend the planet. The station is completely immobile and forces a massive power requirement that requires the station to be outfitted with a Proton-8 Power Core. This power core works to provide both the platform and planetary shield with energy. Aside from the power core, the platform is outfitted with a number of reserve generators, however they cannot power the station for long after the main power supply goes down. The drydock function of the station has been equipped to construct ships up to 3,000 meters in length. While the dock can only construct a ship of 3,000 meters it is capable of making minor repairs on ships up to 4,000 meters as well.
