DESCRIPTION
When Galactic Foreign Legion higher ups took a look at their squad levels organization they found that they were missing a vital component, a squad level reconnaissance asset. While they toyed with the idea of simply increasing the squad size and adding a pair of scouts they decided to leave the already rather large squad be and instead looked towards technology to solve this gap.

The higher ups went back and forth on many different types of droids and drones they could use and finally decided on a tri-copter drone could easily fill the role while being small enough to be disassembled and stored away in a rucksack, allowing for easier storage and deployment.

With the basic design chosen they moved onto the materials to use in the construction of the drone. They constructed the drone frame out of Titanium due to its high durability and low density making it great for a flying droid. They decided to use their patented Titanium-Alusteel Alloy for the armor plating for its high durability and low weight. The rotors were constructed out of Plastoid to provide a lightweight yet durable construction. Lastly the entire drone is coated in Reflec to prevent detection from passive sensors.

With the materials chosen they moved onto the features that would be included in the drone's design. First was a memory upgrade which allows it to store the vast amounts of data needed for a recon platform. A surveillance upgrade provides the drone with a vast amount of sensors such as a lifeform scanner, signals detector, infrared and thermal imagers, radar, etc. Parabolic guides installed in the drone help with calculating fire missions for any indirect fire unit it might be used by. An automated repair upgrade allows the drone to fix any damage it takes on the fly.

A localized comm jammer jams enemy comms within two-hundred and fifty meters, usual if you need to ambush someone and prevent them from calling reinforcements. Sound dampening technology added to and around the rotors significantly reduces the amount of heard noises from the drone's rotors. Finally a encrypted data uplink gives the user a way of collecting and coalescing data into a usable form.
