The city is split into 3 different levels with majority of the transportation in the city provided by repulsor trains. Surrounding the city is 3 sections of high city walls that are packed thick with durasteel and permacrete, while having various other layers of materials to prevent anyone from just breaching the walls without effort. They have a number of forges within the workshop each dedicated to something, such as starship weaponry and vibro blades. And the workshops main focus is on the crafting skills that have been forgotten by the galaxy for a considerably long time. Force imbued blades are also crafted here by a master craftsman who belongs to the Otaka Guild of Craftsmen.
  • Antohang Dockyards:
The Antohang Dockyards are named after the Antohang Emperor, the 4th Emperor of the Shao-Gong Dynasty. It is the main shipyard for the Emperor's Imperial Army, constructing both airships and starships to defend the system from pirates and invasion forces. Although burned down and destroyed in the Rebellion of Mongde, the emperor has reconstructed the dockyard using finer materials and adding extra security around the perimeter to produce the starships necessary for his proposed Grand Mandate of Heaven.
  • Kai-Sung Barrier:
The Kai-Sung Barrier named after the Ancient City of Kai-Sung before the capital was moved to Zongmen City after the Rebellion of Mongde. Located directly south of the capital city, to protect it from behind attacks while the Mountains of Chaos protect the north, its a mighty wall that stretches' for miles throughout the landscape. Connecting with the Mountains of Chaos Fortification Ranges, it forms a almost impenetrable line of defense save for single river crossing that the wall couldn't be constructed on. Artillery batteries and other defenses are ready for any intruders that manage to make it to the capital city form behind.
  • City of Grand Kaizong:
The City of Grand Kaizong is the second largest city after the Capital City of Zongmen. Located directly south of the capital city, it is surrounded by hills and naturally forming rock gardens. It is a merchant city, where commerce and currency flow through under the watchful eye of the Trade Lords whose authority is limited to just a single city but they run it effectively enough that some have called for them to rule over other cities to bring prosperity. However the Emperor knows the consequences of allowing banking lords to gain influence within the Imperial Court, which would mean giving up some of his absolute power in exchange for prosperity and major reforms to fill their own coffers. The Grand City is also the only city that allows foreign trading and foreigners to actually reside on the planet, and the exchange rate can influx based upon what the trade lord desires to pay.
  • Nung Jin Military Grounds:
The Nung Jin Military Grounds are the main military center for the planet being established near a local mountain range that artillery can be tested against, the grounds have a majority of the armed forces loyal to the Emperor stationed here to control the provinces. While the provinces do have their own separate armies to defend themselves with in times of war, the Imperial Army is by far the most advanced and most numerous force on the planet. With defenses and fortifications, it is a mighty fortress within its own right and is the second most defended place on the entire planet due to the military heart of the emperor residing here, and the only place that ranks above it in defense is the capital city where the emperor and his family resides.
  • Zhao Ming Shrine:
    • The Zhao Ming Shrine is the main spiritual center for the people with a majority of the shrine being dedicated to ancestor worship with a smaller but no less important section that belongs to death worship. Named after the First Female Priest on the planet that was allowed to gain a position within the Imperial Monastery. Built and Established inside the forest of the planet by the 2nd Heavenly Emperor and his Clergy to allow people to give offerings to the Heavenly Emperor and contact their ancestors for advice and provides a safe space for those that lack a personal shrine in their own homes, although typically not a business or corporation. The Shrine is also telling people their fortunes for a small fee, with mostly accurate predictions which keeps people coming back to try their luck or perhaps turn their bad fortune around by volunteering at the shrine to cleanse themselves.
  • Yuncheng Grand Gardens
    • The Yuncheng Grand Gardens are a massive garden park that occupies a significant area of the Capital City of Zongmen. Covered in ornate statues and filled to the brim with rock gardens and red colored trees, it makes for a calming atmosphere and a place for the populace to spend time with their families after a harsh day in the various workshops that are the backbone of the planet economy. It is typically not that crowded considering its popularity because the government enforces a quota of who can get in and how many can be within the park at all times as to not damage the park and its atmosphere with litter and waste that naturally comes with a populace. It also host the Great Dragon Parade, where everyone inside Zongmen city will dress up in ornate robes and make their way to vendor stalls, that are occupied by various species with the main event being fireworks and an appearance from the elusive Heavenly Emperor who leaves his forbidden palace to mingle among the population for a while.

POPULATION

  • Immigrated Species:
  • Population: Heavy
  • Demographics:
    • Xīngzuòese Humans 95%
    • Other 5% [Focused in Grand Kaizong]
  • Primary Languages:
    • Rei Ginxa [Primarily Language spoken only by inhabitants]
    • Galactic Standard Basic
    • Business & Trade Languages
  • Culture:
    • The People of Lóng Xīngzuò are a commerce and trade society underneath the absolute authority of the Heavenly Emperor who gives some power to the Six Ministries, who directs much of the populace through public works projects and giving out social credit scores to people so that they are more easily controlled.
The culture of the planet is based around the moving and manufacturing of goods and services and each province on the planet has there own specialty than they then sell out to the other provinces for a fee, which drives money throughout the planet because a province has to hire builders for expansion of their settlement or trainers for their armies. They are not typically a warrior culture but a significant number of the population is trained in some form of the various martial arts for self defense and if they are trained and skilled enough they are enlisted into the Warrior Monk Units of the Emperor's Grand Imperial Army. Each portion of the population is trained to use some type of weapon if the entire planet is called into defense of the emperor and his family, allowing the Grand Imperial Army to swell their numbers considerably to hold off a superior technological force without being overwhelmed for a time.

Society is mainly dominated by the expression of art and beauty, with famous tapestry and statues littered around the place and ornate stone gardens littered around in almost every city. The daily life of a regular person is filled with working the various jobs that are on the planet and both women and men are treated as equals in their crafts. Although typically the woman will stay home and be a housewife, keeping the grounds clean of an estate and managing the finances of the house. The Aristocracy are a far different story, with many of them having large grants of land and small fiefdoms, often engaging in petty acts of assassination and blackmail to lower a rival's standing within the aristocracy, however they typically only use humiliation, to force their rival to work for them because killing them would be a waste of talent. The Imperial Court of the Emperor is the main organ of the state, and is vested with some of the immense power of the emperor to do their duty in providing all the major settlements with equipment and supplies to survive the changing seasons. Tournaments of all kinds dominate the sports of the planet, with the strongest and mightiest emerging from those tournaments with the chance to become one of the Imperial State Guards, the most skilled and powerful warriors on the entire planet, there training focuses on using the body as your main weapon, with a physical weapon just being a defensive instrument to break open your opponents guard. They are skilled in almost every form of martial art in the galaxy, and becoming masters of their own style of Martial Arts, the Way of the Dragon. Imbuing their bodies with the mystical energies of the force to turn their skin into rock solid in defense and their bodies becoming immensely more durable to allow them to stand up to more punishment.

Religion of the Planet is mainly focused on two different things, death and ancestor worship. Death worship is an important part of the planet due to everyone dying at some point, with the oldest and more venerable of the populace being treated with respect because they have been favored by the gods with longevity. Those that do pass on will be reincarnated by the gods into a form that they desire most and return to the living to start anew. Ancestor Worship is also an important part of the planet due to a believe that your ancestors are always watching over you and will protect you against evil, summoning a spirit guardian to protect you and your family. Praying and remembering them will cause them to grand your favors or counsel you on a difficult decision. Ancestor Worship is so wide spread that it is the National Religion of the Planet, enforced by the various religious orders and by decree of the Heavenly Emperor.

GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
  • Government: Absolute Monarchy
  • Affiliation: Independent
  • Wealth: Wealthy | The Level of Wealth can be considered wealthy by galactic standards, this is due to an abundance of industry on the planet that mainly deals with precious gemstones and silks that are top quality, selling them to the various nobility within the galaxy for a fraction of what other companies and planets might do. They also have a hand in manufacturing and processing of luxury items that would make even the richest senator in the galaxy awed. Although long forgotten underneath the current settlements, there are plenty of vast ruins and other evidence of advanced civilizations that had settled on the world before being either eradicated or extinct.
While they might import a lot of items to support their heavy population numbers, they export plenty of items to sustain themselves. Due to the cavern of ore that runs across the landscape and the metals and ores within it, they are an economic powerhouse within the region although that wealth is mainly concentrated in Grand Kaizong and Zongmen City, as that is latter is where most of the foreign trading and commerce happens and the former is where the Imperial Court and the Forbidden Palace of the Heavenly Emperor reside and rule the entire planet from. The economy itself is well off, having begun the process of modernization and adapting to foreign technology but putting a traditionalist spin on it to preserve the culture. Many factories and workshops are being put up to expand the industrial output of the planet.
  • Stability: High| The Stability of the Planet is quite high, as the majority of the populace are law-abiding citizens. However there are times when major rebellions will sweep the planet but the emperor will tolerate such rebellions until it gets out of control and moves the Grand Imperial Army to stomp out the unrest and restore order, mainly using rebellions as a way to focus the anger of the populace towards the state and pick out problem individuals that need to be captured for public execution. With the power of the emperor, he has fortified the planet to become a fortress world to galactic standards, installing orbital defenses and ground defenses to make the planet almost unconquerable without suffering massive casualties. The planet is generally safe for outsiders and travellers provided that they remain within the City of Grand Kaizong, as there is no guarantee by the government to ensure your safety while traveling anywhere else on the planet. There are no current threats to the stability of the planet at this time, due to the modernization of the government and giving some measures of freedoms in exchange for absolute loyalty to the emperor and the state.
  • Freedom & Oppression:
    • The Planet can be considered quite free and the citizens are free to do whatever want, so long as they don't disobey the absolute authority of the emperor or begin to spread foreign ideologies and religions on the planet. There is little oppression within the City of Grand Kaizong, as the Imperial Court knows that it is major economic city and the trade lords can govern the city as they see fit, as long as they ultimately swear loyalty to the Imperial Government at Zongmen City. The Capital City does have some oppressions to it, although that is mainly to keep order and provide the other provinces and their settlements with an idea of how things should be run, by giving citizens some freedoms but not to much freedom that they spawn a rebellion against the Imperial Dragon Throne.
MILITARY & TECHNOLOGY
  • Military:
    • Lóng Xīngzuò is a fortress world complete with heavy artificial defenses such as AA Batteries and artillery and natural defenses such as giant rivers and large mountain ranges that can be made into defensive positions in the event of an invasion by an outside force. Citizens are trained in various forms of martial arts and weaponry to make the backbone of the Imperial Provincial Forces which back up the more heavily armored and more trained, Grand Imperial Army which is directly underneath the command of the Heavenly Emperor. This Grand Army is trained and specialized in various martial arts, and have advanced training in the use of a variety of different weapons that they might come across when engaged in battle with a superior technological force. Since the entire planet can be mobilized into a defensive and effective fighting force to some extent, there are many true citizens that cannot fight, as that would be children and the elderly. This minimizes the relocation effort because it is easier to transport them into safe locations.
The Grand Imperial Army is made up of several banner armies, which can perform a variety of different functions and are trained to operate various vehicles and siege engines within their ever expanding arsenal. The Imperial Provincial Forces are highly trained militia, while although not exactly trained to the extent of the regular military can still hold their own against other armies that are on the battlefield, with all the provinces on the planet sending forces to assist in the defense of the planet. There are various defenses scattered around the planet such as heavy AA batteries, rocket batteries, turbolaser towers customized to fit the aesthetic of the planet, with the most heavy concentration being the Military Grounds and the Capital City of Zongmen. The Grand Imperial Navy provide air support with their war airships and operates the orbital navy that patrols the system, and are trained in the latest military tactics used by the galaxy through warfare books smuggled in by traders within the City of Grand Kaizong.
  • Technology:
    • The Planet is slightly superior when compared to Galactic Standard due to the massive buildup and fortification policy underneath the Heavenly Emperor that had added defensive walls and various fortifications around the planet that will hold an invader for a while before they break through it. With various expeditions into the vast oceans and caverns of the planet and discovering lost technology within those locations that can be reforged and remade will be added to the Emperor's Arsenal. Although in terms of advanced technology, they still are galactic standard due to not having enough technical skills to reverse engineer various items to make them conform to the organization of the army. The City of Zongmen is the most technologically advanced city on the planet, with the City of Grand Kaizong coming close behind to the influx of traders and craftsman that journey to the so called "Merchant Road" of the galaxy.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The World of Lóng Xīngzuò was once a world that had no settlements or general population, being the home of various animals and beast that ruled over the unexplored lands. These beasts ruled by the strong with only the strongest becoming big enough to not be challenged by other predators.

Although this started to change with the first colonist being brought to the world from the Heaven System which was close by and was no more than a lightspeed jump away. Touching down on the untamed and wild world, the settlers from the Heaven System would begin to introduce various levels of technology to the world. Forming into small communities across the vast landscape, they would form into separate kingdoms after the Heaven-Earth Corporation left the colonists for some reason to develop on their own without interference. Developing a distinctive culture after a while due to the old ways being forgotten, they would pool their resources together into establishing petty alliances with each other in the hopes that they could outdo their rivals and come out on top. These alliances eventually formed into 3 seperate empires, and started to reform the planet from a wild and untamed world to an orderly and beautiful world that while technologically advanced for the time period, but while 2 empires built and made industry, the 3rd empire become aggressive because it was starting to run out of resources. This eventually lead to a war between the 3 seperate empires, starting the "War of the Three Emperors" Period which is remembered by the current populace and through ancient records as an unstable and destructive time where entire cities were burned to the ground and families put to the sword. With the war ravaging the landscape and the planet, the entire system collapsed and the 3 empires along with it. Leaving many ruins and technology from advanced civilization on the world.

With the world in chaos, the survivors of the War of the Three Emperors would begin to rebuild what was lost to them. The process was slow and painful and it took many decades for the planet to return to some form of stability, as such the populace grew suspicious of each other, recalling hidden thoughts and feelings of the 3 different empires. It threatened to erupt the entire planet back into civil war over small differences between them. This fate was avoided with the arrival of the first heavenly emperors, exalted storm dragons with immense power, and seeing that the planet was doomed to fail once again. These storm dragons pretended to be the dragon gods of the planet, and unite the planet underneath their iron but fair rule. The rebuilding process from the war was still in its early stages and many burned settlements were not restored to their former glory. But with the help from the heavenly emperors who had access to some of the galaxy's advanced technology for the time due to taking it as they traveled through the stars, they reformed the broken but effective system into a united system underneath the worship of the exalted storm dragons as popular religion was thought to be the only way to unite a large and diverse populace.

The Reign of the Heavenly Emperors wasn't to last, as the exalted storm dragons went back into their mountain lairs to let the population develop without them directly interfering. The fake gods disappearance would spark war among the population, and was split into 7 separate kingdoms spread out over the transformed landscape. Each kingdom worshipping a god and waging war in their name, this period was known as the "War of the Seven Kingdoms" and was violent and bloody until the storm dragon re- emerged from their mountain lairs and united the 7 kingdoms into one massive empire underneath their control through an absolute monarchy lead by the wisest and most powerful of their race. Knowing that the populace needed something to work towards and redirect their energy away from fighting with each other gave rise to a policy of public works projects, putting the populace into steady jobs that provided for their families and replacing their heavenly emperor worship with worship to their ancestors and death, controlling the populace through religion was the overall goal of the first heavenly emperor at that time and his rule is known as the "Period of Great Stability" and brought the planet closer to galactic standards in terms of technology, through the establishment of the City of Grand Kaizong where outsiders could reside and trade with the established aristocracy of the city, the Trade Lords. Commerce and trade would soon flow, with many businesses and industries springing up all over the planet. The period is also when the Grand Imperial Army was mobilized out of the provinces militias that they had been using for decades during the War of the Seven Kingdoms.

The Current Reign of the 80th Heavenly Emperor, has risen the wealth of the planet considerably with mining operations and fortifying the planet from invasion. The Grand Imperial Army has also went modernization to an extend to match up with the technology of the galaxy, and the establishment of the Grand Imperial Navy to provide both air support with atmospheric fighters and military airships and by establishing dockyards within the system, to produce a navy that while not the most powerful in the galaxy could certainly hold back a superior technological force for some time, giving the planet an opportunity to rally the masses in defense of the Heavenly Emperor. Both economic prosperity and cultural prosperity are very important because they keep the populace in line and prevent major rebellions from forming against the Imperial State altogether. Although the planet is looking bright and has a bright future ahead, only time will tell if the 80th Heavenly Emperor can uphold his absolute power over the world without being interfered with either by actors within the state or by foreigners looking to take the planet for themselves.

The level of detail in this submission is excellent; it must have taken quite a lot of work. However, there are a number of concerns that need to be addressed before the planet can be approved.

  • Location: The Heaven system is not on the Chaos map; please give us a location in reference to a planet that is on the map. That doesn't mean that your planet has to be added to the map (that's up to you), but the Outer Rim is huge; give us a general idea of where this is.

  • Major Imports and Major Exports: Please be more specific about "various ores", given that they are both imported and exported. Are they industrial ores, like the components of the alloy Durasteel? Are they conductive ores useful for circuitry? Does the planet import one type and export another? Provide specific wiki links if possible.

  • Unexploited Resources: You list several rare substances, but then a general "rare metals and ore". Please either specify or cut this.

  • Native Species: Native species are species that evolved on the planet, such as Rodians on Rodia or Duros on Duro. All of the species you list in this section evolved on different planets, so they cannot be native to Lóng Xīngzuò. This section should be reserved for custom Codex species made specifically for the planet. Please move everything that is currently here over to Immigrated Species. If you don't have any current custom species to populate the planet, it's acceptable to put "Various Native Animals" or similar.

  • Demographics: Are the Xīngzuòese human? It seems to me like they are intended to be. If so, please note that.

  • Affiliation: If not currently affiliated, please put Independent or something similar, not TBA. You can request edits later.

  • History: This is where we're starting to run afoul of the "no crossover" rule: "All submissions need to conform to the general idea of Star Wars. No Gundams, no Transformers, no Pokemon etc." I'm excited for Total War: Warhammer III too, but we can't just have Grand Cathay IIIIIIIN SPAAAAAACE. I could ignore the parallels for most of the sub, but as we get down to the history it becomes more blatant. The presence of a Celestial Dragon Emperor (a title directly copied from the ruler of Grand Cathay) who rules over a Grand city behind a Great Bastion at the end of a space silk road becomes a bit too close to pass here. The History section closely parallels much of Grand Cathay's history in parts, from the arrival of "storm dragons" (I cannot find any Star Wars mention of such creatures) to the dragon siblings warring amongst themselves for a time before being reunified.
    • This needs to be at least partially rewritten and Star Wars-ified. Space China has been done before (see Tiantang), but this borrows too much from another fandom. Put some distance between this and Grand Cathay as far as titles, story, and important physical and cultural elements.

Getting closer. Your changes look good, but there are a couple of things you missed.

  • Native Species: Humans are believed to have evolved on Coruscant, though there's some debate about that. They definitely did not first evolve on Lóng Xīngzuò, though, so please remove Humans from Native Species. This section should only contain species that evolved on this planet. If there are no Codex species that evolved here, you can put something like "Various Flora and Fauna".

  • Demographics: Again, please clarify if the Xīngzuòese are human or not. For example, if they are human, please put "Xīngzuòese (Human) 95%". If they are not human, please provide a link to their species.

  • No Crossover Rule: I see you changed the Emperor's title, which does help. You missed it in a couple of spots, though, where the old Celestial Dragon Emperor title still appears.
    • Military, end of the second sentence.
    • Technology, middle of the first sentence.
