"It was destroyed long ago and I came by it from where else information. Someone was looking at old records out here and using the Library to do it.. problem is something like this same with Exis station or the Animiasma.. things of interest or that might have potential interest the AI flags fir review. Most of it is some obscure idea or something like a report of wampa's in the sewers on Coruscant but every so often you might find something. A ship this size... I wasn't expecting, I thought it might have been a name someone gave their seeding ship. Just pack families and supplies in a cargo ship, send it off in a direction and hope they find a world they can grow food and live on."

"I see." If a proper AI was monitoring the vast data and information systems that Matsu had control over, and Domino knew that she had proper AI, then the Twi'lek doubted it was feeding her sewer wampa legends. More likely she was hearing about far more important things.

Extending her will through the force, Domino lifted a piece of the wreckage to herself for a closer look. "Power condenser." She commented as it seemed to take itself apart in the space before her. "Phenex makes a similar one, a modernised version of a Koensayr condenser anyways." Losing interest in the part, Domino allowed it to float back to where it had rested. "I would like to see the Fold Space technique in person if I may." She said, addressing the Aing-Tii directly for the first time since their greeting.

THe one with them seemed to be listening and then turned towards the twi'lek, making a face but Matsu spoke. "Yes I imagine she guessed you understand basic." She didn't say it as more then a small joke but the Aing-Tii stood there for a moment and focused, allowing a wall to shift and change to reveal a screen to show outside and let her get an idea. Matsu stood to the side as the beings seemed to think it over and then the ship was humming practically, allowing the force to almost build up like a buzzing in the back of the jedi masters head. THen it was building up higher and higher until there was a pop with the ship overlooking a planet with massive mountains and sections of ocean before Matsu had a finger in her ear. "Ah never get used to that."

Actually Domino had just remembered that Matsu had spoken to him, her, it(?) in Basic when it'd boarded. Though now she realized that Matsu may have done so for her benefit while mentally communicating in parallel. Though it made sense for a diplomat to at least understand Basic. Then the wall shifted to reveal an outside view and Domino could feel the build-up of power around them. She'd barely had time to open her senses to it, nevermind clearing her mind, before the shift happened and they were overlooking what Domino could only assume was the alien's home world. "Magnificent." She breathed out, happily letting her companions see her awe. "How do you determine the arrival point?" She was brimming with questions and only her long-honed discipline kept them from all spilling out at once.

Matsu looked at her and she could see the excitement, she had it as well and this was not something many others would get to experience. As they had been working on a number of things she had to offer a small smile. "Just breathe, from what I can tell it is mostly intentional, you think of where you want to go and focus on that intently.... Which opens up to the danger of someone distracting you if there was a really big risk." She could see the other Aing-Tii being there until it spoke motioning with a hand and its long fingers. "She says that they practice to figure out where they want to go and within the rift they can do any number of things here within. Outside the ability is severely limited and they tend to avoid leaving."

"Hmm," if Domino's excitement had been evident before, so was her disappointment at hearing this news. "One final question if you'll humor me then, something that's been bugging me for awhile now. The ship never moved did it? You wrapped it in your energies to protect us all, but then 'folded' the space between where we were and here until the distance was zero. Then as space became linear again we were carried back with the new spot." She looked around at all of them. "Is that how it's done?" As wonderful as Matsu's holocron was about the mechanical aspects of Aing-Tii technology, it had been frustratingly poor in explaining the why of the force powers it described and Domino was one of those that needed to know more than just the how. True mastery came from the understanding of a teaching's inner workings and Domino wasn't about to try experimenting with something so dangerous until she knew more. She had been able to infer some things by reading between the lines and her own understanding of the universe's relation to the Force, this though was her chance to confirm her theory.

Matsu looked at Domino as she spoke and working to try and explain it was well what she expected from her. Domino over the years had always impressed her with her ability to really break down and look at a situation.. Even if she might not always enjoy it she could still respect it. A grin appearing on her face when she wondered what it was that might be said. She could see a few other things. "Yes." THe words came out in the force like a telepathic display of their own power. The voice resonated more being both male and female but Matsu generally had known her as a female or at least what she guessed passed for female. Matsu was looking at them and bowed her head to it. THere could be wisdom and she was still learning, always learning as it were sio Domino could be here to ak the big questions.

Right, that actually fit rather well with how Domino had learned other such techniques like farsight. Webs and pools... She had asked her question of the Aing-Tii and she was a woman of her word, that would be enough for now. The rest could either be figured out later or further observed. Doing something like that mechanically as Matsu intended though, Domino wasn't sure it was possible, or at least realistically feasible. The power requirements alone would be astronomical. So she intended a quasi-replication using the Kingdom's remains. "Thank you very much." She remembered to thank her guide.

"Now Miss Ike, how can I assist you in traveling through non-Euclidean space?" This was the stuff that really got Domino going, the investigation and application of theories in a project that any single aspect of would be worthy of an award in its field.

Hmm well Domino's technical expertise was something that could be very important to them. Something that could be used as she crossed her arms over her chest and had a grin on her face. "Well there was a hope to get your help clearing out some of these old research outposts. The imperials long ago had a number of garrisons that they set down on worlds across the galaxy to practice and research everything. while testing out any number of things. Some of their stuff was on sub-hyperspace and ways to use hyperspace for more then just travel. With the research, the kingdom databanks and what we know had been recovered by some of the other ships here, Well we might be able to really piece together all of the technology side while the Aing-Tii experiment and use the agena to create the organic side."

"A treasure hunt then?" She smiled. "I'd be happy to help. Page the coordinates to my ship and I'll get changed into something more fitting." Hesitating, she thought about asking if any of the sites had been secured yet, but decided not to. Going in blind would be more fun. Imperial outposts usually has some form of automated defense set up when they were mothballed. "Will you be accompanying me or overseeing things from here?"

"Done and ahhh you wound me... staying behind to let others go and explore the old facilities." Matsu feigned a wound on her chest but was giving the information as she thought about it and had a small grin on her face. She had her gear ready for just this sort of thing and the cracken field kit pretty much covered everything before she was motioning and finished with the information for Domino. Then went to get her own exploration robes as they were just like the normal ones, only knee, neck, elbow and some extra padding and support to not hurt yourself. Resource chip that would make anything she was carrying almost ninety five percent lighter weight to let her hold more.

Giving the Aing-Tii a respectful half-bow, Domino returned to her own ship to prepare. Gone was the gaudy attire for her Vornskr armor, pikesaber, gun belt, and a backpack with some field necessities. As she entered the docking tube to meet back up with Matsu, she slapped her thigh twice and let out a whistle. Bounding down the hall to Domino's side came Myunnah, her pet Tuk'ata. These days the hound didn't have to look up very far to give her a quizzical look. Gracing her animal friend with a smile, Domino told her that they were going to meet a friend and then going down to a planet to hunt. At the mention of hunting, Myunnah radiated pleased thoughts tingened with anticipation of blood while letting out a deep rumbling purr and again Domino wondered if she reminded her more of a cat or a dog. She laughed a little as the overly excited Myunnah pushed her head into her side, "Okay okay!" Reaching over she rested her hand on the creature's head and started scratching between her ears. "Come one, lets go find Matsu."

Matsu had gotten her equipment, the cracken field kit on her hip, the secondary pack on her back as both were slin and fitted to carry a lot more then they looked. Her robes were protective, the white guardian rob es gleaming as she fastened the belt with the clips for her sabers. Magnetic clasps holding the two blades there in the proper place, Then several more compartments of equipment and rations when she slid the scouter from her robe. THe lightweight monocle was designed for finding force signatures when you looked through it but it also worked as an accessory. Where she was looking herself though as she walked and the outer robes gleamed, white and like milky snow inlaid with the synthmesh and pearls.

The protective qualities were there as well as the force energies, the inner robes much the same but they were more form fitted to her body where she would be able to see and feel it. The neckguard there and it served as a secondary hood in case she needed to contain the mass that was her black hair. Pulled tightly into thick braids then bound into a triple ponytail style that was itself weaved together into a thicker single braid. All of it oiled with the solari oil, scented like jasmine and other flowers. Tiny force crystal bells decorating her hair that jingled as she walked almost in a glide on the shiny leather boots. Designed with hard leather but they looked soft and were comfortable.

"Are you ready to begin?" She said it approaching and looked at Domino while she stood there for a moment the silver hilted sabers going with the outfit and her pale skin looking even paler until she was bringing up her gloved hand in the white synthmesh. Radiating the lightside of the force and her right hand had inlaid within it the purple crystal, energy swirling around in it as the colors changed and she was allowing the heart of the universe to gleam. Soemthing that she could use to feel the force to a degree many others couldn't with a look on her face. SHe also had the eye of the sun on her persons which tapped into a force source few others could match.

Looking at the two they couldn't be further apart. Matsu looked ready for a ballroom or high court to an eye untrained to synthweave, all white robes and shining crystals counterpoint to Domino in her scuffed and battered armor lovingly polished to a dull gleam. Her rough leather accents and sturdy fabric more in line with what a mercenary might choose. At least to those that couldn't identify the metals in her gear. And of course there was Myunnah, it was doubtful that anyone would be picking out details with that predator at their side.

"Ready," Domino confirmed. "Myunnah's looking forward to stretching her legs as well." She then had to stifle a laugh as the Tuk'ata sent her a mental image of mud. "Hush you, behave." The scolding was gentle and further softened by Domino scratching her fingers along her pet's chin.

Ah good then, she had a grin while heading into the small shuttle that was going to take them down to the planet and she could see some of the things there. What remained as the chevron pad she had was showing the AI's working on the design of the drive itself. Where they were going on the planet as the runabout itself was sparcely filled but had the seats for them. Matsu produced something like a treat from the jakobeast bacon and raised her eyebrows with a small look on her face. "Hmm bacon." She said it while looking at the tuk'ata before she was looking at Domino and her armor. It was well worn, older and she knew it was more reliable. "We should be down there soon enough."

Domino had settled into her seat for the ride and watched with poorly concealed amusement as Matsu teased the Tuk'ata with her snack. She had to wonder at the wisdom of taunting a beast twice your weight and equipped with razor sharp teeth and claws, the smallest of which were still as big as her largest finger, but for her part Myunnah treated the offending scrap and its jedi wielder with casual disdain. Instead making a point of carefully ignoring them both and daintily laying down on the ship's deck and folding one foreleg over the other. <cold, no blood> She complained at Domino and received more head scratches to settle her.

"So, what can you tell me about this place other than it being old-school Imperial? I can assume they left automated defenses behind, the Empire never just abandoned something they could come back for later." She wasn't really looking for anything specific in the reply, it'd been so long since she'd had some excitement that just the mention of assaulting an old Imperial Outpost for research data had been enough to get her to jump at the opportunity.

Matsu looked at her and gave a nod of her head to that. "Left over defenses are something that should be there, the likelihood they abandoned this place because of reduced funding or pulling back to consolidate is a possibility but there could also have been an accident. Imperials were also very good at experimenting in far off places that wouldn't easily be seen or found." She said it and remembered looking at some fo the documents of experiments as well as locations across the galaxy they had done things. The place could have been used for anything... maybe it was on the off chance that super secret factory where they designed the pillows for the bunks on starships as well as housing a research station for dimensional travel. "Maybe their cover for the experiments was making the bedding for imperial starships. Someone had to, or they were a massive industrial cleaners."

"This far out in the rift?" Domino rather doubted it. There was no need for a cover, just don't put it on the record and kill anyone that wandered to close. She stayed quiet for the rest of the trip to the planet's surface and exited the shuttle after Myunnah went bounding out. The creature paused looking back only long enough for Domino to give her a nod before she bounded off into the wilderness to find something to eat. Domino followed her out with a casual spin of her deactivated pike, unconcerned for her pet.

"So which way to the fun house?"

She shrugged, anything was possible and when you thought about it... someone had to have the task of making all of that standard issue imperial bedding. Now she would have to do research if only to see how they pitched it... if it was the lowest bid or if it was like a family cousin who owned the company or something.... Either way as she was walking around she had a better idea. Her sabers on her hip when she watched Domino's pet head off towards the area to hunt or scout.. whatever they might be able to discover until she sent up one fo the smaller drones. "We'll have something, never know plus they might have some really good stuff here."

Domino returned Matsu's shrug as she surveyed the jungle surrounding them. The humidity reminded her of Onderon and the grueling training she'd done there with her men, at least it wasn't as hot. "Come on, which way? I've been cooped up in my ship for way to long." Her normal tight control was slipping under her eagerness to get out and stretch her legs. The thought of assaulting an imperial base, even an abandoned one, had gotten her blood going which was one of the reasons she'd agreed to come along. That and she'd wanted to prove to the Aiing-Ti that she was a good person, mostly, kinda...
