'Butcher of Ord Mantell'

Pre-Roleplay Backstory
Born into a military family on Carida, he was instilled with rigid military values from an early age by his parents. It was no surprise when Kenth came of age he immediately enlisted in the Carida Planetary Defence Force fleet, graduating as a naval officer at the age of 19. With the unification of certain core worlds by the Core Imperial Confederation he soon found himself absorbed into the CIC Navy. His young age combined with the fact he came from outside the official CIC territory stunted his career. However this did not affect him and it was during his time here did his loyalty to the navy as an institution solidify and he ruthlessly served, eventually joining the ISB and clamping down hard on any disloyalty much to the discontent of his superiors as his investigations often disrupted their operations.

After years of service within the CIC it collapsed and Kenth found himself serving in the Sith Empire. He grew to distrust the Sith and he saw them as a threat to the naval institution. They didn't follow the same rules and he often found their meddling and lack of following procedure to be troublesome. In a measly attempt to protest Kenth resigned, hoping that his resignation would warrant an investigation but none came.

For 2 years Kenth sat unemployed, living off his pension and in that year he saw the continued struggle for power between warlords and planetary governments in areas abandoned by the wider galaxy. Discontent with what he saw, he rallied some of his former men to form a band of mercenaries with the goal of aiding Imperial Warlords and remnants in the neutral regions of space.

The Naval InstitutionKenth has spent a good majority of his career as a Naval Officer and can effectively run aa ship, from common tactics in Naval warfare to the best provisions to keep crew morale high. He religiously follows what he calls the 'Naval Institution'.

ISB OperativeAt first spending time as an undercover operative who mirrored his Naval duties with investigating and monitoring suspicious individuals aboard CIC ships to a uniformed constable, Kenth knows the ins-and-outs of internal security allowing him to run a tight ship.

DesensitizedMercenary work was far more dirty than he had initially realized with the deniable military actions and treaty breaking attacks leaving the man more desensitized to the violence and chaos of war than when he served with uniformed military forces. He can be unflinching in the face of extreme violence.

The Big PictureOpting to join the ISB for the latter half of his military career, Kenth never earned the skills of planning military campaigns or running a fleet of ships. Often times he can fail to see the bigger picture which may effect his decision making.

Deathly AfraidKenth's brief but savage battle with the Heathen Priest Dakrul left him reeling and scarred. Marred with constant night terrors and a wound that will never fully heal, the man has an intense aversion to the undead and the Dark Side. Fear and rage take ahold of the man when face-to-face with particularly powerful Darksiders.

Travel LightHis time in the ISB taught Berik to be self reliant and he carries this line of thinking to this day, forgoing large escorts. When away from his fleet Kenth travels in a small shuttle with a light escort of two troopers. Kenth himself rarely wears armour and is always equipped with nothing but his sidearm. If one were to engage Kenth while he was away from his fleet it wouldn't be difficult to win fire superiority.

Almost always seen in a black Imperial Officer uniform, Kenth always makes sure his uniform is in perfect condition. At his side he keeps Merr-Sonn Type CC Blaster Pistol holstered on his belt. Code cylinders are neatly placed in pockets next to his Captain rank plaque and a code disk on an officer forage cap when he chooses to wear it. Kenth is not one for pomp and flair with the only customization on his uniform being the Adjudicator patch on his right shoulder. A large scar with a dark hue runs across one side of his face, underneath his uniform the scar continues, from his chest all the way to his lower abdomen. There is something and dark and unnatural about the scar.
