Created by the Commonwealth Naval Yards, this small ship is a swift, hard-hitting escort and skirmisher ideal for fast-moving patrol lines, convoy defense, and rapid-response missions. With its high-output engines and vectoring thrusters, it can outpace and outmaneuver most vessels in its weight class.

Despite its small size, the Kelly-class boasts an aggressive armament profile, including dual variable cannons, a heavy autocannon, and torpedoes capable of taking down larger threats. Its hull incorporates advanced materials such as Crystalamnium mesh for radiant energy absorption and Crystaplast for impact dispersion. The Boudica Kinetic Deflector further protects against physical hits, while overlapping shielding systems—Rampart, Phalanx, Ballista—create a dynamic defense layer rarely seen on ships this compact.
