BIOGRAPHY:
Kaiya Raye (her professional name) is currently the meteorologist weather girl/entertainment reporter for HNN Coronet's early-morning Sunrise Show weekend edition. It's a starting point for the young Pryce-Alder's budding career in journalism, but her goal is to delve deeper into field reporting, either investigative or covering the political scene with her poli-sci degree as a foundation for that. She very well may go on to get a law degree as well, but that is only on her bucket list as of now. Time will tell where Kaiya will excel as opportunities arise for her in the future.

Born into a prominent Corellian family, this Goldilocks legacy has a lot to live up to. Kaiya's late father was the district attorney for Coronet, and her mother is a highly decorated CorSec officer along with her younger brother by two years. Then, there is her grandfather, the current Ditkat of Corellia and former Vice Chancellor of the Galactic Alliance. Also, Kaiya's grandmother is a retired general of the Corellian Defense Force Starfighter Corps and a former Rogue Squadron member; they both being war heroes of yesteryear for Corellia and the Alliance alike. Rounding out the immediate family is one uncle, a Jedi Master who is a member of the New Jedi Order, and another, a CDF naval officer, along with an aunt and some cousins.

Kaiya looks to carve her own destiny out for herself and her beloved Corellia, and perhaps the galaxy as she seeks out the truth and presents the objective facts to its sentients, well with a Corellian flair of course.
