OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: There is a lot of information missing in Jawa lore and I want to fill those gaps of information
  • Canon: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: Sandcrawler, Jawas, Tatooine,
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Media Name: Missing Jawa Lore
  • Format: Holobook
  • Distribution: Rare, it is only found on some planets and on those planets there might only be 2-3 copies of the holobook.
  • Length: Long, As there is not a lot of information on Jawa the book goes into long explanations on all the new information
  • Description: The Holobook was posted to clear some of the mysteries about the Jawa and their culture. The author of the book is unknown so no one is quite sure where this information stems from.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Author: Unknown
  • Publisher: Self
  • Reception: The Holobook is not often read as it is not a common sight in libraries or personal book collections. The people that read the holobook are fascinated about the newfound information on the small rodent-like creatures called Jawa.
FORMAT INFORMATION
The Holobook's are very old and so they might glitch out sometimes, however, this problem can be fixed by shutting down the holobook and turning it on again. The holobook is available in only Basic.

CONTENT INFORMATION
A quick summary of the whole Holobook:
An average Jawa will become 80 years old. The Jawa's are allowed to breed with whomever they desire. Once a Jawa “breeds”, it takes approximately 4 months for the baby to fully develop and to be delivered. Within each litter, there tends to be at most 5 babies.
After 12 years a Jawa child will have reached adolescents. Within each clan, there is an average of 260 members. However, there can be exceptions; for example: the Kkak clan has over 500 members. Around-about 100 Jawa's in an average clan are female. Each clan has one leader who decides where the clan will go and he/she decide all the important things. Each leader has a council which is filled with his most trusted peers. The council was put in place to assist him in deciding major decision and giving him advice on everything in general.
In the past, the Jawa's have migrated to other planets either by sneaking onto cargo ships, or by being enslaved by other races, taking them to their native planets.
Once a year, all Jawa' clans on a planet meet up for one big party, where they exchange stories and trade their goods. During this meeting, the Jawa do not steal from each other and violence is not tolerated. The location of this party changes from year to year to keep its position a secret. The location is communicated through smell, as the Jawa's are the only ones that are able to understand it. It is done by leaving marks on the ground (they roll on the floor so that their smell leaves a smell on the floor).

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The holobook was created by an unknown person, and so no one knows the true intentions written in the book. Most speculate that it was created just to inform people on the mysterious scavengers called the Jawa or to trick them, how and why it was created is not known. No one is sure if the information in this book is true as no one can test the facts that are put down in the book as you would have to ask the Jawa's, who would not answer your questions and most likely rob you just for asking. Most Jawa's are not aware this book exists, however, the ones that are aware of its existence are not pleased, as they don't like the fact that their culture's secrets have been spread throughout the Galaxy by some outsider.

This is an interesting start of a submission but I think we've gotten a bit off track. The format that you're using doesn't match any template at all and we're missing quite a few fields. I believe that the Media template would be best to achieve what you're looking for. You could set it up as a Book/Holo-Doc on Lore or something of that nature. Due to the level of edits that will need to take place, I'm going to send this submission back to the Pre-Codex so you can work on it at your leisure.

Please thoroughly read and review the Codex Standardized Rules. Especially note:

"The entire template must be used in your submission. The template's base fields are not to be changed/removed/altered with the exception of a Force Nexus. If a Planet does not have one this can be removed. Otherwise, If the field does not apply simply state "N/A". Additional information and fields may be added if desired."

When you're ready for this to be moved back to Live Judging please tag a member of the Codex Staff. If you have any questions in the meantime you can reach out to Codex via the Discussion Area on the Board or through the Codex Discussion Area on the SWRP Discord. Thank you!

Greetings! This is much better - Nice work getting everything moved into the proper template.

1.) Just be sure to double-check the fields under "Out Of Character Information" as the "Permissions" field will need to be added so that the template matches. If it doesn't apply just mark "N/A" like you did with Canon and Image Credit.

2.) You should fix the typo highlighted in purple below. It should be "shutting" down, I believe.

FORMAT INFORMATION
It is a very old Holobook and so it might glitch out sometimes, however, this problem can be fixed by shiting down the holobook and turning it on again. The holobook is available in only Basic.

Otherwise - Good to go. Let me know when you're done.
