Isma suffering from a bit of indigestion,
with the probable cause of it sitting right next to him.

NAME: Isma Ferroworth (nee Zel)
FACTION: Nerf Herder Union of Fennesa
RANK: Master Nerf Herder
SPECIES: Anzat-Epicanthix Hybrid

AGE: 24
SEX: Male
HEIGHT: 6'2"
WEIGHT: 160lbs
EYES: A cheery emerald green
HAIR: Black
SKIN: Caucasian, though it's a little tan from all that time spent outdoors
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes (Ashla)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :

Empathetic: Having had to deal with an abusive mother and an absentee father, Isma has developed a strong sense of empathy and compassion. Any weary or depressed traveler will soon have his or her spirits uplifted by Isma's caring nature, but this also means it's easy to take advantage of him.

Telepath: Because of his Anzati blood, Isma is a natural-born telepath -- but it has developed to be strongest with animals, allowing him to calm or rile up his particular herd of nerfs. He also exhibits the ablitiy to influence plants, but not enough to cause a tree to suddenly grow out of the ground.

Feeding Habits: Like a full-blooded Anzat, Isma is required to eat the soup of a sentient being -- otherwise, he starts to go a little mad. However, his Epicanthix blood has allowed him to stave off this need to the point where he only feeds on sentients about once a month; all other foods either come from dying nerfs or from normal food (though sometimes eating normal food will give him slight indigestion). However, having to take the life of someone to satiate his own desires has caused a severe point of conflict within young Isma, and there are several nights where the only way to keep the nightmares away is to go out and talk to his nerfs.

Anti-Violence: Don't let that height or muscular appearance frighten you -- thanks to the empathy and utter disgust towards hatred that Isma has developed, this nerf herder is a big ol' teddy bear. The most violent he'll get is when protecting a female nerf from a male nerf, and even then he's pulling punches.

Selective Gynophobia: Again, abuse from his mother has imprinted a lasting fear of women, particularly beautiful, strong women. However, an average woman or even a young girl might be able to talk to Isma without him fainting on them or running away, screaming.

Mekebve Spores: When Isma was young, his mother infected him with Mekebve spores in an attempt to kill him. It was about this time that the boy had discovered his connection to the life around him, and after a few years of fighting the allergens he finally managed to overpower them. However, it's not uncommon for the symptoms to flare up in times of marked distress, often leading to: nausea, vertigo, difficulty breathing, hives, etc.

APPEARANCE:
His hair is shaggy, he's got a bit of a tan face (that's also developing signs of weathering), and his clothes invariably smell like nerfs. Also, it takes a lot of work to care for nerfs, and that work has resulted in a rather muscular build not uncommon for farmers or shepherds. Underneath his clothes, too, are numerous scars from all of the whippings, burns, and slashes his mother subjected him to.

BIOGRAPHY:

Isma was born to an Anzati woman named Morta Zel on one of the Mid Rim planets. His father, an Epicanthix, was absentee for all of his life, though considering Morta's behaviour it's likely he had no choice.

See, Morta wasn't too pleased with having a son instead of a daughter, particularly one who was not fully Anzat. This, along with the departure of Isma's father, led to many, many years of abuse. But in those parts, outright killing a baby would have been more than enough for Morta to be executed without trial, and she knew that not even she could outrun the Emperor's police system.

So, rather than kill her child out right, she tortured him. She engaged in all sorts of physical abuse, cutting him, burning him, and flat out beating him -- all of which left scars, both physical and emotional. During these formative years of his life, Isma dealt with the hate and abuse by turning inwards to himself, seeking out a "happy place" to dwell until it was all over. This "happy place" was, actually, Isma's first usage of the Force, particularly the light side, where his inner self would connect with the animals and plants around him. While he couldn't actually control any of them, it still gave the young boy a way to escape.

It was when Isma was ten that Morta infected her son with mekevbe spores, in the hopes that the allergens would kill the boy. He attempted to beat back the spores with the newfound connection he had -- and discovered that he was, in fact, strong enough to subdue the foreign substance. With this victory came a spark of hope for him, hope that he would be able to escape from this hell.

Suddenly the boy found himself watching his mother and his surroundings very carefully, waiting for any opportunity to flee. More often than not, though, Morta would learn of his plans and beat him even more, enraged at the failed attempt to kill him with spores. Eventually, the beatings escalated to two or three times a day, and it was then that Isma snapped.

Up until now, Isma had managed to control his feedings, usually taking the scraps from what his mother left. But one day, after a particularly aggressive beating, that the boy reached his limit.

Were it not for the fact that his mother never expected such an upfront attack from her son, Isma might have never gotten an upper hand. As it was, the boy managed to catch Morta by surprise and drain the soup out of her.

Ashamed and shocked by what he'd done, Isma fled his home planet, wandering from place to place until, at the age of fifteen, he came to a place known as Fennesa. Here, the mountain nerf herders took the boy in, clothing him and giving him food in return for labour. During this time, Isma forged a relationship with one of the jail wardens, Joc Thordin. Joc learned of the boy's Anzati blood, and after much urging on the warden's part, the young boy was allowed to come in and feed off of the homeless individuals in the cells, allowing some space to be freed up.

For years, this was how Isma (now Isma Ferroworth) lived; his natural empathy and ability to understand the local nerfs allowed him to climb the Herders' ranks quickly, to the point where at age 21 he was the youngest Master Nerf Herder ever appointed to the Union.

Enoch might not even have a mirror, or perhaps one that's not even a Zambrano.

Mirror-Kaine went down a different path than his Chaos counterpart, and thus did not go on to do... unsavory things to certain people <.< >.>

Maybe he defines abuse as tender love and care.

Maybe he was your only son, given so much expectations that his sense of reality was shattered by your imagery of perfection that you so shoved upon him, when you placed him on that pedestal.

Maybe you never realized how horrible you were, how much you pushed him to strive for perfection when he felt he was never good enough.

DID YOU EVEN KNOW, KAINE?!

DID YOU EVEN!?

CAN YOU!?

I mean.

Kaine most likely didn't go on to court his mother in the Mirrorverse considering the paths of Chaos-Kaine and Mirror-Kaine are completely different.

So he might not even exist in the Mirror timeline.

Oh, shoot. You, me, and [member="Enoch Zambrano"] need to talk about this. I didn't even consider your mirror >.>

Isma is a Master Nerf Herder. Master Nerf Herders are required, by the Local Nerf Herding Committee District #45 rules and regulations, to use only Comic Sans when submitting important documents.

Other fonts have been proven to distress the tender, fragile nerfs, and nobody wants that.
