  After spending her childhood years under the guidance of brutal Genichiro, once she discovered her older brother was alive, a teenage Ishida left Atrisia to join the New Jedi Order and search for him. Once with the Jedi Order, Ishida was welcomed to be mentored by Michael Sardun. His scathing, devotion to The Lightside of The Force leaves no room for error, doubt, or mercy. In theory, this is easy. In practice, Ishida finds herself struggling to remain balanced as a Jedi in a world that needs benevolence.

  Michael Sardun sacrificed himself on Tython to save Ishida, and with his final words he thanked her for being the daughter he never knew he needed and told her to lead others in the way of the light. Shortly after his passing, Ishida was gifted Sardun's ring. An accessory that never left his person, and commanded an entire legion of warriors: The Band of the Silik.

  Ishida runs into a stormtrooper on Exegol, tries to kill him, and he ends up saving her. The cost for his mercy is his freedom, and he ends up a prisoner to an Imperial Knight indictment prison. Ishida, leading the Band of the Silik, ends up liberating the very same stormtrooper that saved her life on Exegol.
  
  He has nowhere to turn but the New Jedi Order, and because Ishida brought him to their doorstep, she's forced to be his teacher.
