That smirk. Dreidi hated that smirk with every fibre of her body and was so determined to wipe that smirk off his face the first opportunity that she got. She found it patronising and frustrating but she was determined not to show that so that he couldn't see that his actions were frustrating her and pushing her buttons. No, he couldn't be allowed that satisfaction. He had allowed her to rise to her feet, since was something since a real opponent would likely attack while she was vulnerable, though she thought that there might be some that would not take that advantage. As she rose to her feet, she heard his comments about her move. Desperate. Desperate? Desperate?! It was necessary and very calculated manoeuvre that saved her from a life threatening injury. At least that was how she was framing the move in her mind.

Her grimace and frustration was clear on her face on that remark but she couldn't fight in anger, that would just let her fail this match. When her feint had worked out, there was a small moment of pride and she let out a smirk this time. Pleased to have the upper hand for once. She was ready to press the offensive when she noticed that he vanished his Lightsaber from sight. Using the Force or tech to hide his saber though it was only hidden from view since she could still hear him and sense him through the Force. Her training with her mother would help her through this part of the duel, while Dreidi was not blind herself, she had trained herself to rely on her other senses as much as her eyes since she had feared that she would turn blind as a child like her mother and sister, Nitya so she decided to start honing her senses. It was only several months later when her mum find out about the training that she informed Dreidi this was unlikely the case.

Closing her eyes, as they would just deceive her at this point, she listened. Her saber was in a defensive stance since she knew an attack would be coming. However, the odd Lightsaber noise, had her curious since it wasn't the retraction sounds that she knew of but something else. It had been a shorter saber, could it be extending? No, that seemed too tricky for what she assumed was an honourable duellist though, he did turn his saber invisible so things were different then she thought. Dreidi needed to figure out what the noise was but she could sense that the attack was coming. Her plan was to parry then attack but the parry turned into a full block since the attack was from a full length Lightsaber instead of what she thought to be the shorter Lightsaber she had seen before. Cursing herself for not being more aware, Dreidi had to dedicate herself to the block to avoid getting harmed which she knew was exactly what he wanted.

However, the other strikes at Dreidi were caught better and she was adapting faster than most could. Dreidi had thanked her training for this, she could not underestimate this man again. As she parried the third attack, she danced around him and attempted to attack from behind. Determined to get another strike on his knee, to weaken his limbs as she struck out her foot once again. Breathing hard, she was definitely getting a solid workout from this training exercise and she was also having to do a lot of thinking which she was struggling with.

She was adapting at rapid speeds, it was honestly impressive the rate she was able to evolve to dealing with a hidden blade that was able to change its size with the notices of a mouses squeak. Soon enough she was parrying and dodging Felix's strikes with trained finesse, as though his blade was never hidden in the first place. The invisible weapon still beamed its light beneath the cover of the void-like sheath which ensnared it, building up something vastly interesting as the two of them would continue to fight, the clashing of their blades sparking nothing as the force which welled the light within the young mans' weapon, held at bay the flashes of the young woman's clashing blade as well, wrapped up in the ephemeral void.

As one of her blocks raised against his own, Felix would release his finger from the pressure trigger on his weapon entirely, his weapon would cut out in an instant with the hissing sound of its complete retraction. No sooner than his weapon passed over hers he would reignite it, a trick learned through the art of trakata, the weapon thrusting towards her head at speeds that had put an end to myriad force users. Achieved so quickly barely a microsecond would have transpired at the tactical maneuver. Felix expected her reaction to be another parry, as it seemed she was using more than just her material senses to judge the placement of his weapon. Although, should the weapon look as though it would hit, Felix would stall the point of the plasmic blade close enough to the bridge of her nose that she would be able to feel the heat radiating off the tip.

Should the weapon be parried or evaded once again however, Felix would release the pent up invisibility as the golden blade of his saber would crack to life with a flash like the birth of a new sun. Tearing from the fractured invisibility a flash of light and immense heat would be unleashed very close to the two of them, though Felix would fold the beams of the flash away from himself as though coiling streams dragged the light away in their curving currents.

The Flash was bright enough to redden the skin if exposed skin were too close the blast, while the brightness would be enough to be seeing stars even if you were looking at it with your eyes closed. Under the blanket of the surprise assault to the eyes, Felix would whirl in contrast to her spin in order to meet her as she swung for the damaged part she had dealt to his leg. Attempting to exploit and exacerbate his weaknesses was great tactics. Of that there was no doubt. But as she made her kick for the side of his knee he would step into it, past her knee as he was close enough that her thigh would slam with limited inertia into his body while his light-saber would shorten to the length of a dagger, more than small enough to use in extreme close range combat as he would hope to grab her with his free hand and level his blade at her face.

Regardless of success, he would smile genuinely.

"Your sister's trained you well, but you have a keen mind and fantastic instincts, those can't be taught. They'll be sharper than any saber in your hand, for sure."

For Dreidi, it wasn't just the noises the that alerted her to the changed in the Lightsaber, it was the other markers that a Lightsaber had made its presence know, the changes in the air for example told if something had changed. She was using Force Sight but to a degree most her age could not. Dreidi was not overly skilled in the Force but she knew a few powers very well due to previous training and innate ability. Force Sight was something she had trained her body for and now she could use in effectively in this fight. Allowing her to see the blade even if she couldn't actually see it, using it the way she was currently was purely instinctual and it wasn't something she could just use on command, but this sparring match had enabled Dreidi to tap into it very effectively. Through the Force she could sense a building of something happening to Felix's blade but what that was Dreidi had no idea, could it have been that with all the design of his weapon if it blade size was changed too often it would just explode and stop working? Was there a limit to how much he could do it?

As he de-ignited his Lightsaber, Dreidi had a flashback to her father lecturing her on Trakata which used very similar techniques. Sadly for the teenager this had been back when she was young and not really paying attention, she cursed herself since all she could remember about the form was that technique and little else. She had no real skill in it and her training hadn't covered it yet. Asaraa was focusing on Dreidi understanding the basics of all the traditional forms before moving forward with the unconventional ones. Best she could do when the block missed its target was to slide her back foot to the side and shift her body away. It placed her on the side of the Lightsaber and gave her no solid counter strike from the position but prevented her from getting hit. Her breathing was hard, she was getting to the end of her stamina for this fight and she was starting to feel a little desperate to win.

When the Lightsaber did explode a searing light, Dreidi forced herself to leap back to avoid getting harmed or attacked while she couldn't see. The attack was just light and heat, but even with her eyes shut, she could not help but feel dazed by the blast, it had come from nowhere and she was feeling a migraine kicking in due to her brain being overloaded with light. Growling, she rolled her shoulders, this was not going to end in defeat, it couldn't. The emotions were too high for her to lose now.

Her kick to his knee did not go to plan, instead he leaned into and reached to grab her. In this moment, she was off balanced, about to fall into the ground and she knew that he would grab her and end the fight in some manner. There was no way to win, that was Dreidi's distressing thought. Only way was to not lose, for that to happen it would be a draw. A spark of realisation happened as she de-ignited her saber, as if she was prepared to do a backwards roll from the situation, however, she let him grab her loose shirt and hold her as he held his blade at her face. As he spoke praise about her skills, she just offered a smirk. Her thumb on the trigger, the hilt of her Lightsaber was very close to his chest.

"Perhaps, does this make the spar a draw?" Dreidi asked with a wide grin on her face, confident she had done well to draw this match.

A hit! as the searing light would wash across her form, small emissions of steam flowing from her clothing as Felix would close the gap, her kick thrown with vastly less harm into his side as he would seek to grapple her. Though, it seemed there was still some fight left in her as her light-saber would deactivate allowing it to be all the more maneuverable in extreme close range as she would maneuver it to be closer to aim in his direction.

Felix would feel himself instinctively reach out to her saber with telekinesis, attempting to lock the mechanism for a moment, enough to delay it extension for a crucial moment as he would not let her go. His grip became iron stepping in and sweeping his already drawn blade down for the wrist of the girl, a force speed enhanced sweep that at this range would almost certainly see it pass through her arm just above the elbow in a singular arc that would appear as little more than a blur of gold and steel. The blade would hurt, the lightsaber was set to a non-lethal setting, but it was still a beam of energized plasma.

Hit or miss Felix would then deliver a kick of his own to the back of her knees as he had her leaning backwards just that little bit. Hoping to somewhat brutally sweep her legs out from underneath her with hopes of slamming her back first down into the earth hard and fast. Felix wasn't about to have a lightsaber brandished in his face, though it seemed that she was at the very least stubborn when it came to such duels. Should he plant her successfully on her back, the dust would plume out in every direction as extending his blade long again he would point in down towards the eyes of Dreidi.

Thankfully Traka was a simple skill, subtle but it was little more than second nature to the Knight as he employed it thoroughly with his fighting style, the ability to manipulate the switch of an enemies lightsaber blade was quintessential to the operation of the ability. But there were ways to defend against it. Felix's method was to use an analogue activation switch on his saber, while others concentrated an amount of telekinesis on their weapons switch, although that took some amount of additional effort.

Assuming all went to plan he would wait for a while, letting the pain or reaction to set in for a moment, Felix would let out a single exhale in order to regain his breath before holding out a hand for her. He couldn't help but think how different this fight would have been with his shield, he was going to have to watch out for this one.

"A trick, for dealing with people like me who want to control your lightsaber. I can't control something that you're already controlling. Its infinitely harder to wrestle control from someone than to enact your will upon it, and Trakata relies on an opponent who is unaware of it. "

Feeling confident, Dreidi was surprised when Felix continued the duel, she had been sure that she done what was needed to draw the match. Trying to activate her Lightsaber, she found it wouldn't activate, that something was preventing her from doing so. That he was preventing her, damnit, he was using her basic Lightsaber against her. This was why she needed to work on building something a bit more complex, or at least internally looking more complex than it did externally. The frustration of being cheated a draw bubbled inside the young Padawan as she spotted him going in for the attack. Her hand raised up quickly, catching the blade, she gritted her teeth as though her use of Tutaminis would prevent actual life threatening injury in a real fight. The blade still hurt due to her use of the power not being that great. She was too focused on keeping up the power that she had no idea of the leg sweep as she collapsed hard into the ground, feeling the air pushed out of her lungs.

As she looked up, he was standing there with his extended blade pointing down at Dreidi. Her face was full of annoyance and frustration. This wasn't the draw or win that she had wanted, but, the emotions she was feeling made her realise there was one last thing. One last move that she could make. It wasn't something that Dreidi had wanted to use but it was something that the young Padawan would use if this had been a fight to the death and a move in order to win. She kept her guard up to see if he was planning on another attack or something to ensure Dreidi was forcing herself to surrender. Her stubbornness refused to surrender now, not when she could blast him away and create space once again. He had said that she could use the Force in this duel and he had used the Force several times on her, it was only fair that she revealed what she had been focusing her training on over the past couple of years within the CIS.

As he extended his hand and gave a lecture on needing to understand Trakata and devising ways to avoid the situation she was in, Dreidi built the Force up within herself. Tapping into her strong emotions of frustration, anger and disappointment, the young Jedi Padawan was using a very Dark Side power. Instead of taking Felix's hand and admitting defeat, Dreidi used Force Scream, a Force Scream that was stronger than most could use at her age. It was a power that came naturally to the Padawan and she could harness the power at a stronger level than most of her peers. Her aim was to send Felix backwards or at least disorient him enough to escape from her position. It was a focused blast of the Force but it was also lessened, she didn't want to permanently harm him with the power. Disorient, not deaf, was her rule of thumb when it came to using the Force from her standpoint.

From her position, if everything went according to plan, Dreidi would roll backwards and activate her Lightsaber, preparing herself for the next bout of fighting. Her breathing was laboured and she was looking a sweaty, dusty mess but Dreidi was confident that she would keep going even if her body was screaming for her to stop.

The Knight could feel something begin to well up in and around the area, the power of the dark-side, unhidden was a powerful thing... to see it stem out of nowhere to an attentive Jedi Master would have been childs-play, but to a knight obsidian, mired in the grey not taught to vigilantly look out for signs of the dark side of the force. The grey nature of the Knights Obsidian however blinded many of its followers, they weren't alert to the darkside, not ever vigilant like their Jedi counterparts.

So when the dark side of the force began swelling in the girl, confusion was the first thing that Felix felt. The pulling sensation that drew his attention towards her as the void attempted to consume him dragged his attention down. Only when it was too late did he realize that the sensation was the calm before the storm. She would inhale, filling her lungs as the air would mix with the nuclear power of the dark side of the force.

Felix wasn't an experienced master, he wasn't a master at all, sadly, he'd never taken a student. He hadn't come into contact with the dark side of the force in one of its most raw forms outside of the training holocrons and manuals left behind by enigmatic orders of force sensitives from across the galaxy. But this was his first time dealing with the raw power of the true dark-side. At least, not the kind he used himself....

The surprise, the fear was an intensely powerful emotional response as he was worried of an uncontrollable blast that threatened to deal harm to him and the world around him. She'd see his eyes turn from their calm silver to blood red. Felix for a moments instance would gain sight beyond sight, the world fracturing in the blink of an eye between what is, and what could be. Events playing out before him at hundreds of times faster than reality as he was given a vision to see how to evade the strike.

Within the realms of Felix's sight, the man would reach out into the force with lightning speed as his opponent lay on the ground, the light that had coalesced into his body would scream into a single bolt at the tip of his fingers. The tearing bolt of magnesium light and heat would thrust down towards the chest of the girl, charting a course with a thin white line before the full heat of the bolt of light would strike at speeds only starships could hope to combat. The result... would be a girl left on the ground, burning hole in her chest wide enough to penetrate through both of her lungs, cutting her attempt at a psionic scream short to little more than a gentle breeze.

"N... no!"

Felix would resist, deny the future and his muscle memory which he could already feel poised and ready to strike. The bolt of light was already brimming in his hand and all that was required was to cast it down upon her in righteous fury. But he rejected the future, nothing was certain! He would tear himself from the path that he had envisioned causing him to stall as the scream would slam into his chest, throwing him almost a dozen feet and casting him across the arena. The bolt of light going wide and tearing through one of the crates of machinery nearby, burning a hole like a high powered blaster bolt directly through it. A power, Felix wasn't entirely aware he was capable of... Though he had considered it for some time.

Stunned, and in no small amount of pain holding his ribs he would claw himself to his feet, addled by the blow. He'd shake his head, getting to his feet, looking to his discarded lightsaber blade and moving to retrieve it. Gripping it from the warm unfeeling sand and groaning under the weight of new wounds and bruises. Cursing to himself that he let things get this damned far, and feeling an impending sense of dread as his eyes caught the damage he had dealt to the crate of Locke and Key implements.

"I think that's enough of that..." He'd cough, biting back anger in his words. "I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, another Jedi in the universe willing to draw upon the darkest parts of the force when convenient in a training duel. I suppose you'll be burning civilians alive and laying waste to civilians like all the other Jedi too. Well done, you won... congratulations."

And with that Felix would begin to resume his work, picking up the crates that she had blasted away. damage had been done, there were recalibrations to do and he needed to order more energy converters.... this was going to be a whole damn day now...

Things had escalated a lot, but that was the usual in duels with Dreidi since she often was too stubborn to admit defeat or yield so extreme measures had to be taken in order to enforce her to submit and admit defeat in combat. Today however, she watched as Felix changed and seemed to be ready to counter her scream but then hesitated and was blasted back by her scream. It had worked and this gave Dreidi the space that she needed and allowed her to flip back up onto her feet with her Lightsaber in hand, ready to continue. Something was wrong though and the mess around the area was partly due to her but there was also scorch marks and it seemed as if a blaster had misfired but she didn't hear one go off. In her mind, she remembered seeing the light at the tips of Felix's fingers and then looked around again, could he have done that with the light? What was that power and how could he even think of using it in a training duel? That would have killed her! Or at the very least caused her serious harm that would have needed a professional healer.

As Felix rose, he called the duel off and then his attitude turned. His words were barbed and they stung. Hitting at the very fears that Dreidi had buried for a couple years since she discovered this prowess with Force Scream. She shook her head, stomping her foot on the ground, she wasn't going to take this from Felix. "Hey! No! You can't just end this duel now!" Dreidi stomped over to Felix, she was burnt, not looking great with plenty of bruises herself and very out of breath but her eyes burned with fierce fire that sounded she was defiant of how tired her body was to continue to fight and fight till someone yielded. "I am a Jedi and I fight to defend people not murder them! I don't know who you saw burning civilians or harming them, they aren't Jedi and they are the people I will fight in order to prevent harm being done!" Dreidi was shouting, she was convincing herself that her powers can be used for good as much as she was trying to convince Felix.

Tears streamed down her face as she felt her emotions raised to new heights since she was fearful of herself but mostly angry at Felix for going off on one. "And how dare you call me a danger to others with my powers, I have trained my Force Scream, I have it controlled in ways that others don't and I am working to using it at a Force Bellow level. I am in training, a Padawan and a teenager, what the feth is your excuse for the power you nearly used on me?!" Dreidi pointed to the blaster-like marks, "that could have killed me or nearly killed me! My scream was a fraction of the full power because I didn't want to seriously hurt you. I didn't want you to have serious ringing in your ears or blood trickling out as I did you serious, untreatable ear damage!" Dreidi was significantly shorter and smaller than Felix but she was making herself see larger and more intimidating as she was attempting to call out Felix for his own actions instead of judging her for her own.

"How dare you attack me for using my powers when you said I could use the Force at the beginning of this duel!" Dreidi was attempting to wipe away the tears as they poured down her face. "Well done for just being a bully!" Sharply turning around, Dreidi stormed off, not too far away but she was tidying her own mess and paying no attention Felix.

'I am a Jedi' The words reverperated in his mind as the final strand of straw broke the banthas back, Felix had been bitter before, his ego bruised caused him to devolve into some manner of pettiness in the hopes of pushing home a lesson for the kid about the manner of the dark side of the force. But, the gall she had to stomp up into his face, and declare her good intentions, reeked of the sentiment of every other Jedi who hoped to use the power of the dark as a weapon to fight against the dark itself. Legendary figured like Revan, Malak, Exar Kun, Phanlus, Allya... ... ... Skywalker.

All had thought that the power of the dark side was a simple tool that could be used, inevitably corrupting them as they delved deeper into its secrets. The force was a polarizing thing, there were those who could master a balance between them, stories of such masters but they were rare. Far rarer than the legions of those who tried and failed. To think one could be such an exception was little more than Hubris to Aquila so as she finished her harassment. Felix would lash out to grip her arm with an iron grip. But he winced at the pain in his ribs... he forgot he wasn't wearing armour, he was thrown meters by her blast unprotected, its likely there were more than bruises there. Stress fractures and muscle damage at least.

"A Jedi!? You've failed in upkeeping the very first line of the Jedi code! You are lost to your emotions right now, they stream down your face in tears of anger and fear. While you wield one of the darkest powers in the arsenal of the darkside because it relies on nothing more than powerful raw uncontrolled emotion. Continue, and it will corrupt you. So excuse me, if i for a moment thought I had to stop you from tearing this camp, and its inhabitants apart... When I saw how little destruction it would do I held back, but, unfortunately, i almost lost my rips to your attack, and it went wild before it could be dismissed. If you were truly in control however, you would have stopped..."

Felix wasn't about to let go, he was staring her down with all the rage and disappointment of a master chastising a student. She needed to understand the seriousness of what she had done in their fight. The use of the force was well and good, but this was a matter of the nature of the dark side itself. He could see the fear in her eyes, which begged the question. What the hell was her sister teaching her!? It was unthinkable. Could he have ended up this way?

"And as far as the no true Corellian argument... It was none other than the Gallactic Alliances Jedi Order itself who I saw commanding barely armed civilians charge the ironclad ranks of the Sith Empire for little more purpose than to create Cassus Belli for their damned war. So long as i'm alive, Jedi in our orders, will at least be better than whatever has become of those Revanites."

As he spoke, the light around them would begin to warp into force constructed illusions drawn from the imagery of the rebellion of that fated planet in former Sith space. Silent images of the Jedi commanders in disguised clothes pointing for myriad revolutionary whipped into fury for their freedom as they charged toward the mincer that was a fully armed and armoured military response... the civilians didn't stand a chance. It was a needless massacre.

"Be better, or don't call yourself a Jedi."

And with that, he would let her go. His point had been made and he didn't like the seriousness of this conversation. But if that wouldn't get through to her, he wasn't sure what would. He doubted he would come out of this liked by her, but maybe it would be enough to put some fear of the force into her soul. Maybe it would change her a little? Maybe in her anger she would ruminate on them a little and they would sink in... Who knew?

But it needed to be said.

When he gripped her arm, she glared at him, she could feel the Force building in her hand as she attempted to wrench her limb free from his grip. "Let. Me. Go." Dreidi knew well enough that she was not about to be manhandled by this guy, she would show him how truly violent she could get if he continued to use his physically superior build and size to intimidate her. Her order to her let go was not one done out of anger, but there was a some part of fear. He was angry with her, she could see the anger from him and that worried her since she didn't know what he was or wasn't capable of doing right now and really didn't want to kept in this tight grip with some aggressive man in her face. Especially one who demonstrated the willingness of killing her in a simple training match. Dreidi might seem like a person trying to take on the impossible in being a grey Jedi but she had one thing that Felix didn't, a history. Her father, mother and even her Master and sister were Grey Jedi and they used both Lightside and Darkside powers. While they had to deal with their own demons, they were all considered Jedi Masters. So, she knew that with this power controlled and understanding her demons, she could be a Jedi Master, a great Jedi Master like them.

"Jedi aren't robots! We are allowed to express emotions, allowed to show emotions. That mantra of Jedi not being allowed to have emotions is incorrect and dangerous, more Jedi are likely to turn evil if they are forced to suppress something that is natural, suppressing emotions can make a person toxic and cruel. So there is nothing wrong with me crying, getting upset with you for what you said for feeling angry about it, because I am in control. I am not blasting Dark Side energies all over the place right now, I am not attempting to attack you even though you violated my person space without consent and I am not falling prey to the ways of Dark Jedi or Sith. I know my priorities and I know what I am attempting to achieve with my powers." Yes, she did want control on her Dark Side powers but she had seen others control the power so why couldn't she harness it, use it for good and not for evil. The Force wasn't good or evil, it was neutral, what mattered was how one used their powers. That dictated what was good or evil. At least when she found out about her Force Scream capabilities, that was what she had been told.

Still trying to yank her arm free, "I don't have to justify myself to you but that Force Scream was nothing. Yes, it hit hard but sometimes sparring matches get a but rough, had plenty of bruises and fractures to attest to that. I didn't go all out because your ears would have been busted, you would be bleeding from them and likely permanently deaf. So excuse me if when I say, it could have been worse than what you got, because it could have been and from your attitude now, should have been." Dreidi didn't mean it, at least she would have never committed to such a strong scream unless she truly felt she was going to die. "I did stop, I stopped myself from deafening you and from basically killing you at that range. I just fought you how I fight every sparring match. With a refusal to give up, because in real life, giving up doesn't mean you get to live." Dreidi were serious, she refused to back down from someone who thought they were better than her without even understanding who she was, what she had been through or how she trained.

"They aren't Jedi if that is what they did. I don't care if they call themselves that, I don't care if they go around acting like they are better than everyone else. If they truly needlessly sacrificed innocent lives, then they are no Jedi. Heard plenty of things about the New Jedi Order to know they are too militant and aggressive to be Jedi." Dreidi was firm on this, she knew what she thought a Jedi should be and that was not what Felix had described he had seen with the NJO. "You can call yourself something, doesn't mean that you are. Sure you try calling yourself a gentleman and here you are manhandling me like some brutish bully!" It was a jab but one Dreidi needed to get out as she yanked her arm to get it free again. "Revanites were Sith who twisted what Revan was. Revan redeemed himself and saved the Republic and Jedi Order, yes, he had to be brainwashed to forget he had been a Sith and then yes, he became a Grey Jedi to continue his romance with Bastila Shan. But Revanites were never Jedi." Dreidi corrected Felix on this, at least in her history lessons on Grey Jedi, she had learnt about the guy and then the Sith who called themselves Revanites hundreds of years later. "Also, you have no clue what I am being taught or how my Master wishes to train me. She knows that I can use Force Scream, she is helping me control it. Same way that she can control the Dark Side in her, same way my mother can control the Dark Side, same way that my father could control the Dark Side. My family are all Grey Jedi."

She didn't need to talk him this but she wasn't going to have him sit there and pretend that he knew better about how a Jedi should be than Asaraa, her parents and other great Jedi in the galaxy thought. "So, how about you do better in not judging others on such limited knowledge you have. I am not your student, I am not going to be lectured by you on what I can and can't do. I know my limitations, you don't know anything about me. You have seen some so-called Jedi from another faction, and decided it is your right to pass judgement on me. I don't judge the Dark Siders in CIS based on the Sith who murdered my father. I judge them for their actions, I am in training and currently my Master is pleased with my progress. I used Force Scream, in a lessen version, because if this had been a real life or death duel, I would have had to use a fully formed version to survive. I was taught that you spar as if your life depends on it and use whatever you got, because that's how you train for a real match."

She resisted, she was so lost to her anger that she didn't understand that Felix's point wasn't to say that emotions were not to be eradicated, but passion unbridled, fear unchained and anger unbarred were tools of the dark-side of the force. The Jedi of old were taught to fear their emotions, in a manner that caused ruin upon the age and allowing an empire to rise that would take hold of the galaxy at large. They were wrong, but within their original teachings there was wisdom to be learned about experiencing ones emotion, but moving past them. It seemed that as of now that wisdom yet escaped Dreidi... And Felix understood in his actions, that she was likely to argue any point he raised as of now... which in turn only fueled his fire.

"If you think the limitation on emotional response is unleashing annihilation on the world around you, its going to be a very quick fall for you. The intent of those words was lost on those Jedi, it calls you to master your emotions, while out of fear they suppressed them! I don't see a master of emotion here, or someone who's trying to, i see a scared little girl making excuses for themselves."

Felix would let go of her arm, her comments on treating training duels as though they were life or death fights seemed to track with the mentality of her sister. He could imagine her training Dreidi that way, it was a common enough trope and one that had been used in his own training. Save for the fact that in the Death Duels on Ryloth, his practice very much had been life or death from as early as him being fifteen. But once again he almost cringed at the sound of her reasoning.

"If not permanently injuring or killing me, is the limit of your control of your abilities, you have a long way to go with the art of restraint. And you forget that Revan was a Jedi Master who led hundreds of other Jedi into the Mandalorian Wars, he simply believed the Jedi of the time to be too passive, leaving others to suffer... He was a better a person than you once, and the NJO too seemed to have walked his path. To believe yourself immune when thousands before you were not is a simple, but ever so dangerous hubris."

Felix would narrow his eyes in seriousness, the neon gold of righteous anger burning within his eyes cut with the red of his veins as he would reach for a future to confirm his suspicions. Once again those red cracks expanded to cover his entire eyes in a flash which caused Felix to cringe in pain. Holding his head as the image of this fight, him leaving with her angry. Skipping to her crying alone in a room. Skipping again to her looking at her reflection, resolute before smashing it, then awoman, meditating within some strange temple came to light, lightning coiled around her body as flora and life grew from the ground at her feet.

That... didn't seem right... Felix didn't understand the steps... But she hardly seemed to have fallen... were they ones she had to take? Shaking off the darksight his eyes would return to normal, a cautious marmalade orange. He'd straighten himself up and take a deep breath, not reacting as his chest popped with sparks of pain dancing across his body as it flexed. The first step was clear enough though, maybe some of this anger and fear was self reflective? Felix hadn't thought of that, maybe Dreidi had a chance after all.

Sadly, he couldn't go spoiling that, he was worried if he told her about his vision, that it would all be ok... there was a chance that, that safety altered her outcomes.

"I'm! ... Going to go and make another cup of tea ... "

Felix would shake his head, turning on his heel and moving past her, leaving her with her thoughts, doubts, fears. Re-inacting his leaving from his visions to the letter as foot after foot he would mentally retrace his tracks in a state between muscle memory and Deja Vous. Their training was over it seemed. But at least she'd be fine. If Felix had to be a milestone to lead to the end of some-one's story all working out... he could handle that.

After all, he'd been doing it long enough already.
