ORDER OF THE CANTED CIRCLE

The Order of the Canted Circle is one of the oldest and most exclusive social orders on Coruscant, including some of the galaxy's most powerful, influential, and wealthy beings. Gaining membership is a rare privilege as, on average less than a dozen members are invited each decade, an infinitesimal number compared to the list of waiting elite.

Founded by a group of influential and wealthy beings on Coruscant nearly 2,000 years ago, the Order of the Canted Circle was established as a secret society which observed arcane rituals and gathered in secret to discuss politics and galactic goings-on. After the disappearance of billions from the galaxy, the Order was largely forgotten in the years that followed.

Until now.

Though much of the order's more primitive and spiritual traits have been abandoned, the restored order still maintains a high degree of secrecy and exclusivity.

Applications are welcome, though the wait may be longer than anticipated.

I'm toying with the notion of starting up a secret society, largely of a social nature, for the galaxy's elite to get together and interact socially without the traditional boundaries of faction or light/dark side affiliation. Think the Blacklist's Cabal or House of Cards' Elysian Fields. Of course, this takes a back seat to whatever your main faction may be and is only meant to supplement character development and interaction.

Membership would be reserved for the galaxy's elite, ranging from various nobles and political leaders, to corporate executives and other charismatic individuals that hold considerable influence in the galaxy. To maintain a degree of the intended exclusivity, I don't think a post count or character 'board age' is inappropriate, but everything is still in the prototype stage in my head.

Obviously, something of this nature cannot succeed without interest from others, so please, if this is something you might be interested in joining, please let me know! Comments and constructive criticism welcome.
