A brilliant fire
During a GA staff discussion, an idea came up to have the GA put out commissions for tech pieces it needs. This can range from designing a new pistol, to developing capital ship grade weaponry or shields and far more. The idea is that companies made by writers can use the Factory to design what they want to submit, and it becomes a little contest of sorts.
The winner gets their sub included into the GA manifest, or it could be used as a sub-component into a larger sub (A developed shield being used into a an actual ship sub, as an example). Of course, there are rewards such as IC payment and such too!
Would there be interest for this?
