Moonage Daydream
The galaxy.
Far and away from where the stories are being heard, and a very long time ago.
The setting has gone through several iterations, especially since the fall of the Galactic Republic, the bastion of peace, nearly 900 years ago when the Sith pair of Palpatine and Vader had ruled with a metal fists and electric touches. Today? The current time? It was still under the rule of a so called Sith. Much had changed, but much remained the same. The Galactic Republic was struggling, the One Sith were pulling and forcing systems into their fold at a rate that would have the galaxy united under their false pretenses and dark veil within the coming years, maybe months.
There needed to be an element of change. Something to test and destroy the resiliency of the Sith.
And that was what brought this team together. Members of the galactic community who were here to end the conflict, bring about a change in the current. People united to fight the wars that no one was going to.
Coren Starchaser, a Master of the Force, in it most unbridled fashion, was working with several groups in an attempt to bring about the change in the galaxy. He had set up a meeting with the members of the Omega Pyre, and the Underground, under a pretense of another private military contracting group. Could the Jedi join? Of course, but they were clearly not any use in fighting the Sith.
New tactics were needed. And for those new tactics, a new training ground. Teams were brought to the southern hemisphere of Fondor for this summit of soldiers.
And that was where this was. Coren Starchaser was in the battlefield, laser blasts going over his head, his armor’s shields catching some blasts as he took shots against the shields. He had set up a beginning of a ground assault on the Sith. Droids were programmed using data he had collected from combat against the Sith. Using their tactics, but the only thing he couldn’t begin to quantify were the way the Dark Lords were going to attack. He hadn’t been able to get that moving, but this was part one.
That was part two.
Leaning against wall, he checked the load out on his Retaliator scatter gun. He knew these weapons were great against a lightsaber, but for the moment? He was switching to an ArmaTech Vanquisher rifle. “Alright, we’ve got the enemy coming in. We need to move around them. But watch out for their Knights.” Knights here being a reinforced combat droid focused on melee tactics and armed with training sabers.

OOC: You’re dropped into the training exercise. Run with it.
