I Am Buzz Lightyear. I Come in Peace. [Protectorate Dominion of Athos IV]

Athos IV. It was a world of great beauty and scarred by terrible tragedy. From space, the planet might have appeared serene and perfect; an ideal world for life. But as it rotated, its idyllic beauty was destroyed by the large swath of devestation and ruin that was unmistakable from space. Marked millenia ago by corporate greed and abandoned twice by the galaxy, Athos IV was a world that viewed the galaxy with mixed feelings. But that was why Ayden and the Protectorate were coming to Athos IV; to wash away the sins of the Old Republic and build a relationship of trust and cooperation.

The shield walls were among the most impressive features of the planet. Visible from space and millenia old, they had kept the Shattered Lands contained for generations. But now, there are signs that the Wall will fail, and that could spell disaster for the planet.

There is a growing schism on Athos IV between those who preach of the Old Ways against those who argue that the Athosians should put aside their traditions in favor of lifestyle the galaxy endorses. As words fail, there are those who would seek violence to end the debate which could plunge the world into a civil war.

Athos IV has a history rich with art, philosophy, and religion, even in spite of and perhaps because of the tragedy that took place millenia ago. This is certainly an excellent chance to study a culture relatively uncontaminated by outside contact with the galaxy.

Though the Shield Wall does its job to hold back the contaminated Shattered Lands, the time immediately after the Second Abandonment saw such a sudden collapse of support that contaminates crossed high over the walls. And though such bursts only occur ever few decades, the genetic damage has left many weak and sick. Athosian medicine is not even close to being as advanced as the galaxy's technology and they could benefit from such aid.

The Shattered Lands are a reminder of the mistake of unchecked greed and the consequences it can have for a planet. The military maintains a giant orbiting station above the Shattered Lands which could prove insightful to Athosian military technology and the history of the Shattered Lands.

Things to Do:
Maintain Shield Walls

Discover the Source of the Conflict between
Study Athosian History & Religion
Give Medical Aid to the Sick
Study the Shattered Lands

OOC: Group up as you see fit. I think these five objectives are a good start. Remember, many older Athosians don't have too fond of an opinion of the galaxy at large, while many younger Athosians are eager to learn more about the galaxy. The gravity is almost twice as much as the galactic standard, so be mindful.

"Please be very careful with that!"

Feena was watching like a hawk as crates were being moved around and supplies were being loaded onto dropships. She was going to head he the planets surface soon, and oversee the set up of a medical camp. On her datapad, she was going through rows and rows of crates, taking inventory, ensuring that they had enough of the right medicines.

She didn't have to do it. There were other people who had this job, but Feena was antsy. She didn't like space travel, and after what she'd seen on Druckenwell.... Well, it was no wonder that she was less eager than before to jump right back into healing. Still, the holocron that she had received from Mister Cater helped. It made her feel capable, useful, strong. She'd learned so much, even though most of that time that she had set aside for learning, had been used teaching instead.. She's acquired a few new students since coming home to Naboo. It was flattering, really, that so many wanted to learn from her, and she took her teaching seriously.
Even if teaching was such a great thing, she honestly just wished for a few moments alone to work on her campaign speech, and study the holocron.

Feena sighed out loud, tapping the screen in irritation as she walked between the rows of supplies

STUDY THE SHATTERED LANDS

Katagiri felt strange and arriving in the Solo class had her sitting there on the bridge with her body forward just a little. It was an interesting planet to say the least and standing up she stood there in the ivory white robes with a white kimono and her hair frames all around her. The white electrum saber on her hip while she went off towards the hanger to head down. They had nothing but time and the Lord Protector would raise them if there were any issues that needed to be addressed.

Objective: maintain shield walls

Drazav stood in the hangar, ready to leave at any moment, not that he'd be able to actually help much, just lift things and look imposing. He had recently cleaned and knocked out most of the dents in his white and red plates, giving them a slight shine in the light, not that it mattered to him, for him it was time wasted, but it was probably for the best 'But as long as this is helping someone... Even though they are organic."

Aid the Sick

The crew of the "Pheobus" worked at 110% to unload all of the medical supplies for the sick citizens of Athos IV.

"I want outpatient tents set up there, group B set up the surgery tent there! I need the Bacta Tanks over here."

Nyos observed the hundreds lining up already for his teams aid.

Objective 2

Leaving the M47 that dropped him and a team of dread guard, Canal decided to take a little stroll in the capital to see what he could do to help the people of the planet. He was in his Ori'Ramikad armor with his helmet off to not intimidate the people. As he was walking he saw a little fight between a group of Athosians. The clone walked towards the conflict to see if he could stop it and to see what created the fight.

Objective: Escort Feena Mason as she Aids the Sick
[member="Feena Mason"]
Escort duty. Not really something that sounded fun, that's because it wasn't. Too many times when Noah was a commando for the Republic, he had been sent on escort missions, most of the time it was high-ranking officials and officers, but every once and a while there was the crap escort that made his blood boil at the thought that he could be doing better things. But this mission didn't seem like crap, it actually seemed important, that's why after disembarking the M47, Noah headed straumight for the medical drop off location. Once there he found the escortee, Feena Mason. He had heard some mixed things about her, how she was a nice person and a good healer, but he had also heard that she was a ex-Fed and even a rumor she was a spy. Given Noah didn't listen to rumors often, he was going to make sure he didn't let any info about military ops or new tech slip. It was then he found her taking inventory. "Mrs.Mason? I'm Colonel Corek, I'll be your be escort for the time being." Noah informed her as he walked towards her and revealed himself.

The Eternal Queen
Feena sighed and signed her name on the datapad, declaring that everything was accounted for. As she turned to prepare for her trip to the surface, a voice behind her made her pause.

"Escort? I don't believe I had requested one. May I ask who ordered one for me, and why?"

She was polite as can be, but a little unsure of the situation. Even during her time as a leader in the Confederacy, she had not been given an escort. Or a personal body guard really. That was probably why she was such a target for assassins. She had to hire her own personal guard in the end.

Was it because she was a candidate for Queen on Naboo? Or was she just being... watched? Observed?
Either way, she would allow it. If she had nothing to hide, why fight it? And if it was just a kind gesture by the Protectorate to keep her safe while the Confederacy was after her head, well, that was welcome too.

Objective: Find way to make mecha-unicorn that fires glitter and bacta
[member="Feena Mason"] [member="Noah Corek"]

Aiding the sick was a noble goal and as Katagiri listened she walked quietly stopping to stand for a moment while she straightened the white clothing and looked up at the two. Feena was one of their if not their strongest healer and that meant she should be protected or more so they should try to help keep her safe. "With the CIS wanting you for leaving future queen I think it might be safer." It was a small thing but one never knew. "You can also help with possible plans for a guardian droid, I figured with your skills having something that could shoot bacta grenades and glitter cannons... Someone mentioned you enjoy sparkly things."

Investigate the Shattered Lands

Standing at the top of one of the spires of the wall surrounding the Shattered Lands, Miles and his team were set to repel into the area. There might be a door somewhere but where's the fun in that. He turned to his men, snapped a two fingered salute then jumped off backwards. The rope slowed as the brakes were applied to keep Miles from falling the entire way down. He was then able to turn over and walk down the wall as if he was walking down the street. His squad close behind, a few braving the same jump as their leader but others simply stepped off the spire.

Once at the bottom of the wall, they detached and spread out to search the immediate area. Reports came back to Miles as he and his Comms officer went over a tactical map of the area.

This is Johns, nothing in sector IV.

Serloc here with Mac, no signs of life in II or III.

Sir its Fex, there was an awkward pause,...You're going to want to see this.

The closer to Fex's position, the geiger counter started to click slowly. He kept a wary eye on the meter and continued at a relative pace. Once they group could see Fex, his early report became understood. There, below about one hundred feet, a massive crater with...a ramshackle town inside its center. The geiger counter chirped more rapidly, but only by microseconds. Turning to his Comms Offiicer, Denko, take Fex and get back to the wall. Get a message to the Lord Protector. I want him informed on our findings.

Alright, Mac, you still have your drone?

Aye Sarg. Mac unslung his pack, brought out a small remote piloted recon drone. Upon activation, the drone was sent up into the sky. Mac controlled it from a portable computer and the holo-recorder streamed a live feed to its monitore.

She had two choices, go with the others helping the sick or branch off on her own. Keziah chose the later and blamed it all on hormones. She doubted that anyone would disagree with a pregnant woman but they frowned at her going off alone. What others never seemed to understand was that she was very capable of taking care of herself even in her current state. Keziah in fact was more aware of her surrounds now than ever before as it wasn't just her she had to worry about anymore.

As a teenager she had lived in the slums of Nar Shaddaa after the untimely death of her parents and the disappearance her siblings. She went from having very little to nothing. Keziah wanted to give back to those whom had nothing here and she knew that probably not where the brigade of healers was going. She knew this to be dangerous and she didn't know this turf but Keziah was confident in winning their trust after all they had something in common.

She had brought with her a bag packed full of medical supplies and food which she knew was in very short supply down here. Most wouldn't even go to a med center if hurt just do it alone and most wounds were stabs from rival gangs. She didn't wish to upset anyone so she would need to make it clear that she was only here to assist others and had no allegiances to anyone.

The sight on the streets was one that made her quite sad not only because of the situation itself but it brought back memories. She would do anything to ensure her children didn't grow up like this and help these children. If she had the credits she would gladly help those in need. Keziah did what she could and this was one way she could win the trust of the people.

Out of the corner of her eye she spotted a group of children playing in the corner kicking the dirtiest ball she had ever seen back and forth. When it happened to roll her way she couldn't help but kick it back to them.

Objective: Escort Feena Mason as she Aids the Sick
Noah was about to answer Mason's inquiry when Ike arrived and answered for him. "Ike answered the why, but I'm not at liberty to discuss the 'who' with you Mrs.Mason. All I'm allowed to tell you is that the person has yet to fully trust you, even with the info that has been given. Until they do, I'll be your escort." Noah informed her as he checked over his armor and weapons, making sure he had everything in place. Two Lazy Eye Merr-Sonn Power 5's? Check. OPR-2? Check. Dual cortosis-weave vibroblades? Check.

The Eternal Queen
Feena narrowed her eyes, but didn't protest.
"I appreciate your... concern," she replied, "one question though. Do you honestly believe that after what those monsters pulled on duckenwell, that I would work for them? Even if I had been a spy before?"

Feena was a sensible woman. No nonsense. So naturally she was going to raise questions about the holes in this logic.

Noah sighed after he heard Feena's question and finished checking over his armor before answering. "Mrs.Mason, if it was up to me I wouldn't be wasting my time by escorting someone who is neither a security risk or a spy. But my orders are from higher up and I rather not be court-martialed for disobeying them. So for the next two weeks, I'll be your shadow and after that you won't even have to see me again." Noah informed her as he sat on a crate.

The Eternal Queen
Feena lifted her face up, the very picture of lady- like pride.
"Very well, " she said walking along, fully expecting him to follow, "if you insist, then i will accept your assistance gratefully."

The cargo was being loaded up. It was being packed away to be transported to the planet's surface. And feena was expected to follow.

Objective: Glitter Cannon
[member="Feena Mason"] [member="Noah Corek"]

Katagiri looked at Noah as he spoke to Feena and she remained quiet while following. He was the commander and highly skilled but sometimes force users were used for unsavory tasks and she would stay close enough not to interfere... maybe help if she could. Stepping into the ship to head down though had her enjoyment of the situation peaking. "So has anyone actually been here before?" She raised an eyebrow and concealed her saber on her hip while placing it under the robes.

Aid the sick

The crew had finished setting up and got to work on their first patients. Nyos was working on a patient when he noticed a pregnant red head leave the camp alone. He finished the patient and made his way after her.

"Take over Moss. I'm going after the woman. You're under the command of [member="Noah Corek"]."

Nyos turned a corner and saw the young pregnant woman looking on over a group of children playing. He walked up to her and stood by her side. His metallic body and military uniform shinned in the light.

"What are you doing all alone miss?"

Objective: Kick the ball
[member="Keziah Tal'Verda"]

Knight had found herself on the planet and looking around well she didn't want to go off and help the sick, they were getting one of the strongest healers in the galaxy to help them and plenty of others. She just preferred to observe and enjoy herself as she walked along getting a few looks for her bubblegum colored hair and robes. The small smile while she observed another one break off from the group going and the shi'ido raised an eyebrow, not in wonderment more because she had not met some of the newer protectorate members. She walked slowly and silently as Keziah kicked the ball back to the children as she spoke. "And who are you? I haven't had a chance to meet all the new people on the ships."

[member="Knight"]

"Keziah Tal'Verda, it's a pleasure to meet you." She smiled looking up from the children whom were now playing with the ball again. She was happy once again in her life and wanted to share that with those less fortunate. It wasn't that long ago that she herself was in the same situation as these children. The woman didn't like to dwell on it but she had a terrible childhood and if she could make these children's day a little brighter she would. "Did you come here to help me? I was planning on helping out at the local med center." She grinned pointed to the bag in her hands. This was just a pit stop for a moment.

"I don't think I got your name."

[member="Keziah Tal'Verda"]

Knight gave a nod of her head. "In time I was going to, helping out the people of this world is a great way to establish good relations. I am called Knight, the Exarch of Thyferra." She extended a hand out while remaining next to the girl. "Though I didn't come here to help you, I barely know you. You could be some uber powerful force user or one of those seasoned soldiers. Only thing I am fairly certain of is your not a politician." She did offer more of a smile though after that while eying the children. "They are wonderful aren't they."
