OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Space Station Name: Hundred Hundred Hab
  • Station Model: Loymière Shipwright Artificial Habitation Ring
  • Classification: Habitat, Port
  • Location: Kyrikal (orbiting the 17th moon)
  • Affiliation: A self-governing cooperative of Swokes Swokes refugees
  • Population: Sparse
  • Demographics: 95% Swokes Swokes, 5% assorted others
  • Accessibility: Not hard to find once reaching the remote and obscure Kyrikal system
  • Traffic: Low - the Kyrikal system has strong internal traffic, but Hundred Hundred Hab is not a priority destination. Its main source of traffic is Swokes Swokes traveling back and forth from mine work on Kyrikal 17.
  • Description: A habitation ring mimicking the arid climate of Makem Te.
POINTS OF INTEREST
  • The Blue Oasis - A sprawling travelers' inn and beer hall, the primary point of contact for new arrivals and the primary site of the community meetings that govern the station. It is built around an actual oasis. Many small ships land here and markets are frequent.
  • Temple of the Beatific Razor - A fully functional temple, built of Kyrikal sandstone, centred on a few smuggled historical artifacts, and run by a group of the ancient resistance/assassination sect. They preserve traditional training practices that outsiders would find brutal, taking advantage of Swokes Swokes regenerative abilities. Some of the sect's practitioners are Force-sensitive, and visitors have sometimes been able to undertake training that helps with pain control, self-healing, stealth (particularly silent movement), and improving the body's acceptance of cybernetics. While the Beatific Razor practitioners do not see eye to eye with most Jedi, several Jedi were involved in their evacuation from Makem Te. The Temple hates Sith. Outside the Jedi/Sith binary, practitioners of other traditions may be more likely to find a welcome. The Temple is on the opposite side of the ring from the Blue Oasis, a little under a five-kilometre walk either way.

SECURITY
Medium
- While the station is unarmed, it has good armor and shields, is protected by the Kyrikal system's patrol starfighters, and also has a militia and the Beatific Razor practitioners.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Hundred Hundred Hab is a Swokes Swokes refugee station in the Kyrikal system.

At the start of the tenth century, Makem Te had seen years of Sith rule and even a recent Imperial invasion. After the Planeshift destabilized Sith control, a group of Swokes Swokes hiding outside occupied Thousand Thousand managed to get a message offworld. The expeditionary ship Wake of Balmorra installed an old cloaking device and managed to reach Makem Te, which was a border world at the time. Almost two hundred Swokes Swokes crammed aboard, including resistance fighters from a sect of the legendary Temple of the Beatific Razor. Taking a careful roundabout course, they made their way up the Levantine Spur. The refugees found temporary accommodation on the desert moon Kyrikal 17.

Not long afterward, the Trade Federation held an auction on Cato Neimoidia. Tilon Quill, the Wake of Balmorra's captain, surreptitiously attended the auction and managed to come away the proud owner of several space platforms, wiping out his savings to do so. Easily the crown jewel of his take was a three-kilometre-wide Loymière Shipwright Habitation Ring, secured for the price of a few nice blaster rifles. Tilon gave the ring to the Swokes Swokes refugees, who moved it painstakingly to Wild Space and put it in orbit around Kyrikal 17. They calibrated its climate to match their long-occupied homeworld.

Word spread through the scattered Swokes Swokes diaspora, and Hundred Hundred Hab is now a notable cultural centre with a relatively small but thriving population.
