How Would Your Character Get Order 66'ed?

Ashin Varanin

Guy and I were talking what-ifs, and we realized that this thread needed to happen.

If your Force-using character was a Jedi during Order 66, what would happen?

  • Ashin Varanin would get mowed down by five jarheads with blaster rifles. And because she's a tank, she might survive somehow, but she'd be a wreck. Lost-limbs, scars-everywhere kind of wreck. She'd never be able to duel again, for one thing.

Ember would die. He'd just plain die. Might take a clone or two with him if they were close, but if they were smart they'd do it from moderate range.

Josh would fight until he was no longer physically capable to fight anymore. He would then try and mow down as many as he could, knowing the end was near, before finding a cliff and turning to smile at his pursuers. One last smile... Then he'd spread his arms and fall backwards, and fall to presumably his death.

He would then survive via the use of the Force, and live as a hermit while he recovered his strength and waited for the time to strike, for the time to rebuild the Order and destroy their enemies once and for all. Work from the shadows and recruit as many to his cause as possible, away from the prying eyes of their enemies.

Why? Because Josh is a psychic ninja monk. He will do psychic ninja monk stuff from the shadows.

Josiah would be overwhelmed in a matter of seconds and gunned apart. Against so many blasters, his Shien mastery would be useless. He wouldn't have any time to put up any means of a viable defense. Just...done. There-Is-No-Hope.jpg

Je'gan's not the strongest around, but he's all mentalism. Even though they were doing it without malice, he'd probably sense their shift in focus. Unless they did it from range like the Order 66 attempt on Obi-Wan on Utapau (which'd be the wise move), he'd make it out, and then they'd send droids after him, and he might well be hooped.

@[member="Andreas Wintergreen"] -- Firrerreo healing factor don't work like that, dude. You're a humanoid, not a Gen'Dai. Firrerreos get killed in all kinds of basic ways in canon.

Jaxton Ravos

Mindwalker of the Outer Rim
Jaxton would run for his life, because he's actually got something to go home to. He'd probably make it out of the first encounter, but space, other planets? Probably not.

A ranged attack like Je'gan spoke of and he'd be dead though.

On the kind of immense assumption that Velok was a Jedi...hmm. He'd still be boss at energy manipulation and pretty crappy at every Force power on the list. If he saw it coming at all, yeah, he could survive massed blasterfire, but I doubt he'd get that chance. That, and I suspect they'd wear him down pretty quick. He can shrug off a thermal detonator, but when there's five, six guys sending full-auto fire his way plus dets? Yeah, he'd be done in thirty seconds or less. Better body count than most of mine, but not by much.

Valik

Professor of Alchemy
Valik wouldn't have been a Jedi in the first place, but he'd have had a contingency plan for such an event. Whether or it'd work I'm not sure, but he would have anticipated the attack, if only due to paranoia.

Jorus would have washed out of the Agricultural Corps at age sixteen or so, then gone and pretty much lived the same life he actually lived. He'd have led Order 66 on a merry chase before his luck ran out and he got cornered on Ord Mantell or Nar Shaddaa, somewhere in a planetary grav well. 501st, bounty hunters, Inquisitors, Vader...whichever way it went down, he'd have died.

@[member="Valik"] as a paranoid Old Republic Jedi...that thought brings warm feelings to my heart.

The Hound

In the middle of a rather large scale space engagement against CIS droid fighters, his own wing men would converge on him, and though Turin would be able to take down maybe one, he would go down in a blaze.

-OR- he would take down both fighters and make his way to some place like Dathomir, wounded and enslaved, eventually breaking free of his "owners" and starting an all male Clan band lead a crusade against the Witches of Dathomir, turning him to the Dark to get certain tasks done and holding a powerful hatred towards the Republic and then the Empire.
