How do I know you're not making faces at me under that thing? [CIS Dominion of Utapau]

"Close your eyes," came the instructions of the Templar as he placed a hand upon Seth's shoulder, "and focus. Inhale a deep breath and meditate on the Force. Center yourself and find calm within its depths. You can do this Seth, I know you can." As the words escaped his lips, they were joined by a familiar face, that of Lucious Montross. This was a pleasant surprise, as the Knight had not seen the man for quite some time. He greeted Lucious with a slight wave and then motioned to the pilot to take the ship up. His request was complied with and they, only moments after the initial launch, were on their way to the surface.

It did not take long to arrive, and it was far from being the easiest ride. This was due to the fact that their starfighter escort met some heavy resistance going in. There were some bumps and quick maneuvers, but nothing too rattling for the Templar. After their flight had concluded, the ship touched down right in the edge of the conflict; where some of the Combine's loyalists were putting up a fight against the rogues. Josiah, flanked by the other Confederate personnel within the vessel, quickly disembarked and began their offensive measures.

The Knight, with sabers in hand, began to reflect back blaster bolts upon their originators; thereby giving Lucious and Seth time to disembark safely.

"Seth, see if you can knock some of them over! Lucious, get those blasters blazing!"

Medon waited patiently in the conference room, his eyes locked onto holo-footage of battles taking place on the streets of Pau City. The Combine Forces were being overrun, it was madness. Something was wrong here...Medon was no military expert but by the things he was seeing on the footage, he had to suspect that some of his "loyal generals" were working with the enemy. This was not the only news he had received and he planned on discussing all of these things with the diplomat when he arrived.

Suddenly a swish of air rang in Medon's ears and he turned to see his guards escorting in..a human. Well, that was certainly going to help his position with his people now wasn't it? At least things weren't all bad, there seemed to be a Bothan with him as well. "Ah, I see you have finally decided to arrive...prestigious senators." Medon's words were condescending but his tone was polite, as if he didn't know how bad his words came off as...which he did.

The Pau'an stood from his seat and gave a polite bow "Please have a seat."

Seth got down off the ship and doing as Josiah asked he focused and sent a force push at the people shooting at them knocking a few of them down in the process. " oh joy, this is going to be a blast" he said in a nervous tone.

Nocturno stepped out onto the sandy wastes which Utapau was made of, such a place did not suggest it was of importance but Nocturno knew well of the systems worth in the galaxy. The droid commander turned his head to gaze upon his droids exiting the shuttle, they marched in lines as if they were preparing to go into battle with flintlock rifles. The droids may not think as freely as organics, but they felt no fear and they did not think twice to sacrifice their "lives", sometimes that was all that was needed to win a battle.

"We're going to have to repel down, give the enemy a surprise. Our first target is the anti-air fixtures. Whist we attack those, the additional troops can focus on holding the line and preventing the entire city from falling to these rogues." The Grandmarshal notified, his blaster rifle at his shoulder.

Nocturno nodded, stepping towards the ledge of the pit and gazing down into it with his icy, robotic eyes. With his unnatural eyesight, he scanned and took note of where the rebel troops were across the walls of the pit. There were major skirmishes towards the bottom and multiple Tolmalok Anti-Aircraft Walkers were scaling the sides of the settlement to get a clear shot at any shuttles looking to insert men inside. There was no doubt that the walkers could use their laser flak canons to annihilate them as they repelled down, they would need a distraction.

"I agree, but those walkers are in our way." Nocturno said calmly as he knelt down, fighting through the immense pains, and stroked his hand across the side of the rock. The rock was chipping away easily in his hands, it was obviously not the most stable. So many centuries must finally be causing the rock formations to decay, the buildings themselves are probably what was keeping Pau City together. Once again, Nocturno looked down to the very depths of the pit. At the surface he could see that there was a command post of sorts that was crawling with the rebels, who worse dark red uniforms to signify their loyalty. If Nocturno had to guess, that command post was where the rebels first launched their attack from. It made sense really, the buildings seemed strong and sturdy and it was segregated from the rest of the city so when it was attacked no one would notice right away if it was fast enough.

"I think now would be a good time for me to pay the rebels a visit." Nocturno looked to the Grandmarshal before calling over his squadron of droids "I'll take the express way down." Nocturno purred in a sadistic manner that made his joke burn the senses like dry ice "Follow me." He commanded plainly to his troops before stepping off the side of the pit as if it were nothing. The droids followed in suit, plummeting off the side and leaving Genesis's men to stare off in awe.

[Que Shan-Yu music]

Air pushed past the metal body of the droid commander as he fell through the air, his body slowly shifting so that his right arm was nearly hugging the wall as he fell. The droids above him fell in suit, their weapons ready to fire the grappling hooks inside. No fear, no regret, just focus and intentions to kill the enemy. Nocturno, watched as he fell straight towards his target, an anti-aircraft walker clinging to the side of the wall. 500 meters, 400 meters, 300 meters and closing. Nocturno knew exactly what he was going to do and executed it without fault.

The droid commander shoved his metallic fingers into the stone as he fell. Sparks shot out in every direction and the unstable rocks began to shower across the metallic hull of the walker. As the 60 meter mark approached, Nocturno quickly grabbed a charge from a hard case in his leg and threw it down towards the walker. As he did this, he called for his droids to fire their grappling hooks, so that they would not fall to their death. Then, without hesitation, Nocturno clicked the detonator as the charge fell between the four legs of the walker.

The explosion shook the entire pit, smoke, ash and rock debris shot out in every direction as the flames spat into the air. The walker was mainly unharmed, but the rock face it stood on was not. Within seconds a large slab of the cavern came loose and a vertical rock slide began, throwing boulders and slabs of stone down to the bottom of the pit with the walker. That had gotten the rest of the walker's attention and now they all turned their flak cannons on Nocturno's position. The commander was able to let go just in time to miss being obliterated by the green flak rounds that began showering the rocks. Again he was free falling towards the bottom of the pit, his droids doing the same as they detached their grappling hooks. All of the walkers were focused on destroying this lunatic of a soldier, igniting the air with explosions of green lasers and distracting them from anything that Genesis and his forces may do.

Nocturno fell through the hail of laser flak, watching as the stones began impacting with the ground below and demolishing multiple buildings. At the last moment, Noctuno forced his hand back and grabbed his pistol. Taking quick aim, he shot the hook into a nearby rock face and came to a violent stop a few meters off the ground. Quickly the commander dropped to the floor, his droids copying his exact movements and lowering themselves to the ground around him.

"Leave none alive."

"Actually," Vorhi said cheerily, either ignoring or ignorant of the venom in the Senator's voice, "I'm just an ambassador. I can speak for the Leadership Council, however, and have authority to work here," he said with a casual smile. He took off his hat and sat down at the table, smiling. "We should be able to create an amicable compromise. One that benefits all of our constituents." He smiled charmingly. "I'm sorry that we have negotiate under such lousy circumstances, but unfortunately," He said softly, "We must do what is best for the people at this point."

Wiklea entered behind @[member="Vorhi Alestrani"], not saying a word or so much as clearing his throat. He wasn't apart of the Combine and yet he was still angry that the CIS was budging their way into their affairs. When Wiklea first heard of the Combine, he thought he may quit the CIS and join up with them. Now look at them, having to give into the mercy of the Confederacy, it was saddening. Oh well, all he could do now was take his seat.

Medon gave a curious look to the two diplomats before taking his seat back "I understand completely, these rebels are quite the imbeciles I hoped would not infiltrate our military. Regardless, I must express concern for our values when this merge between our people commences."

The Grand Marshal stood by and watched as the Supreme Commander, joined by his detachment of Droids, did what humanity would call suicide. Their movements were flawless, their effectiveness unrivalled, and the total event left the clone in awe. It also brought back memories of the days he spent as a Republic Phantom, the first of his kind...an advanced clone created specifically to do that which humanity would label suicide. A smirk formed upon his face as he turned to the men and women behind him. "Ladies and gentlemen, we cannot allow Nocturno to steal the show. Let's go." he said, brimming with confidence. They were swift in moving to the edge of the city, hooking up their lines, and swiftly dropping down to the level where the next anti-air walker was situated.

Once they had set foot on the platform, however, they were immediately assaulted by Rogue Combine personnel, and the firefight began. Genesis' blaster was relentless in its firing, singing a song of decimation to all those its bolts struck. As he and his squad battled, they moved ever forward towards the target. In but a few moments' time, they managed to form a semi-circle around its legs and set a charge upon its surface, before scattering. 3....2....1....BOOM! An explosion rocketed the level, and one of the walkers was down for the count. That only left a few more in its wake, but nonetheless, the Grand Marshal had his work cut out for him; and so did his subordinates.

While human, they did not waver in the slightest and pushed forward relentlessly. Their sights were set upon the next walker, and they would not be denied.

@Nocturno.

Lucious charged out into the fray, the battle raging around him. The Jedi barked something at him, which he was sure was some order because Jedi were just bossy like that. Lucious quickly drew down his deece and began firing bright blue bolts of plasma at the incoming droves of Combine Rebels, their face masks red and glowing. "If I can find somewhere safe to work, I might be able to get a signal strong enough to hack into their battlenet!"

Vorhi smiled, letting the other delegates take their seats. He sighed. Negotiating with a known anti-human Xenophobe was a pain. Dealing with such stubbornness would be problematic. "Beliefs," he siad calmly, "are part of one's spirit. Still, without compromise, there cannot be peace. And without peace," he said, not even flinching, "we are nothing more than kings of ashpiles." He nodded softly. He decided to look into this calmly. "I know it's far from easy, Senator Tevara, but we must cut a deal before this turns any worse for any of us."

He looked around the room. Feena would definitely provide aid, even if the deal didn't go through. Still, what had to happen here was for the greater good of Utapau and the CIS. He'd make damn sure of that, if he had to drag the bureaucrats through fething chaos itself.

Medon nodded, puckering his face up before giving his response "Kings of ash you say? Yes...humans seem to be the ultimate rulers of such things. Do not underestimate my knowledge, I have seen the galaxy before the darkness...I have seen what your kind does to the galaxy. When I came out from my shell to see that the post-darkness galaxy was more rotten than the last, I sought to see who had caused it to be so." Medon leaned into the table, his eyes bruning holes through @[member="Vorhi Alestrani"] "Humanity had once again thrown the galaxy into ruin and the non-humans who helped rebuild the galaxy before were once again shoved to the wayside of society. Your kind has done nothing for this galaxy but harm."

"Excellent job Seth!" came the call of the Templar as he continued to supply cover for his young Apprentice. So long as breath was in his body, he would not allow harm to come to a single hair upon his head. As such, he relentlessly reflected the oncoming bolts back upon their originators; and it was after a few moments of this that Lucious Montross shouted something back. T'was something along the lines of safety and hacking a battlenet? The sounds of battle were deafening and Josiah could barely make out the meaning, yet he was perceptive enough to know to give the man cover.

His eyes scanned the area about them and he motioned to the right flank of the vessel they had landed in. "Take cover there, I'll make sure none of the bolts hit you. Seth, go with him and if you see any rogues try to come up from the other side, hit 'em with a Push and knock them away, understood?" With that said, Josiah shifted gears and began to play defense for that area in particular whilst the CIS personnel continued their firefight against the enemy.

Lucious quickly took cover, pistol in one hand and datapad in the other. Hugging the cover, he quickly began tapping away at the codes that appeared before him, stopping briefly to put a round into a a Combine soldier who was trying to sneak around the CIS troops. Within a few moments he would be able to crack into their communications and have every detail of their plan.

While Lucious did Force-knows-what under cover, Josiah continued to focus his efforts on preventing the Combine Rebels from reaching them. His primary form of doing thus was from the deflection of blaster bolts, however he did utilize a few well-placed pushes and pulls to help nullify some of the enemies. He'd shove them into one another's line of fire, effectively making his own friendly fire, or yank the weapons clean out of their hands. All in all, not a single Rebel was coming forward that Josiah would not address.

"My....kind?" Vorhi shook his head. "Let's save the rhetoric for angry mobs. The Miraluka are neither humans nor warmongers, and humanity has many virtues as well as vices..." he said, his voice, calm, gentle, as if he were a school-teacher and not a warrior. It took more than insults against a species he wasn't even technically part of, just evolved from, to bother him. "As proof of this, Feena Mason, Grand Archon of the CIS, intends on providing medical and re-building aid to everyone on this planet. Regardless of species," he said matter-of-factly. "The Templars have never shown discrimination on the basis of species, affiliation or politics. I would not work for a governing council that thought me their lesser by account of birth," he said flatly.

He was more than a little surprised. The xenophobe couldn't even tell a non-human form a near-human. Okay, fine. He sighed. "Now, if you can honestly say, in good conscience, that the humans that have come here with no intent other than to heal the wounded and help rebuild after this rebellion is ended," he said calmly, "then please, keep up the specieist insults to my colleagues," he said coolly. "Now, if you got all the venom out of your systems, I would like to consider a negotiation that allows your Combine Council to retain influence on policy without just being annexed. Unless you'd rather wait for someone not of 'my kind' to show up." He dicded to play realistic for a rare change.

Polarine had arrived on the battlefield, smiling as the situation continued to exacerbate itself. Landing at an unassuming city location, she set out to find something that was of worth.

A Porax-38.

Blaster fired cried out like the hounds of war, their colorful displays of death zipping by the cyborg General who calmly walked behind his small legion of "Clanker" droids as they fired into the scrambling groups of Combine rebels. The cyborg warrior calmly drew his DC-17 from his back and quickly observed his surroundings, the rocks and walker had crushed many of the buildings and created multiple areas of cover.

"R7 through 16, flank right through the buildings and take the enemy from the back." Noctunro ordered and the droids obeyed, raising their rifles and running through an open door to the right of the group "R1 through 6, take cover and push the attack!" again the droids listened, running for cover that was directly ahead of them. Nocturno then raised his own rifle and began firing in the direction of the rebels, his rounds glancing off the steel of the buildings and blowing chunks of massive rock into the air. Reaching into his hard case, the cyborg brought out a thermal detonator and threw it into the direction of the rebels. The resulting explosion sent a cloud of red smoke into the air as two of the rebels were torn apart, still there were too many remaining soldiers to commence a charge

"Marshal, my forces are engaged in combat."

Medon sighed, his anger was hasty and it made him neglect to see the obvious...this man was no human. Still, it did not help Medon's concerns that the humans of the CIS would lead his people to ruin "I see your point and I wish to assist my people, but you can never understand my position. In my time, humanity has done terrible things to non-humans...I will conduct my business with you" Medon paused "if your feelings are not hurt?" He said in his condescending way.

Sonja had lead her squad off a transport into proper sniping positions. From there, they gave excellent support to the front-line soldiers. "Keep our boys alive! For everyone that dies that is another push-up you have to do when we get home. Is that understood?!" Sonja barked to her squadron as they continued providing support to the CIS army. Each squeeze of the 119th's trigger was a lethal shot to their opponents as they were trained to do: make each shot a killshot.
