Horde Major Faction application
Hello and thank you for looking at is for major faction. I am the funky fresh self proclaimed supreme overlord of the Yuuzhan Vong and the Horde and we will be applying for major faction today. So we will be writing up the reasons why you should join us and why we believe we should have major faction but also who we are and what we stand for.
•We are the Horde and we are run by a council of different members from all the leaders of races that fall under our banner, currently we only have Yuuzhan Vong as the main component of our culture but we are looking to change that as we receive more writers and players who wish to join our ranks.
•For fun. Really we aren't a faction looking to be the most OP thing in the world and destroy everything that breathes, we are a faction that wants to have fun write stories and unique story arcs that have yet to be seen by this site. We are proving that with our current story arc in development Attack on Chaos. We really want to just write and be written with if that makes any sense really.
•Not a flash in the pan, we the horde have been a fairly active minor faction since the event cut off our ability to go major. When I went on LOA we had a stoop of inactivity which I am very sorry for, but now that I am back and in full swing I want to be able to fight for this faction and have of stand out among every one else as something that will be able to stand the test of time here. I say this now when people have said it a million times but we are going to do our best to stay exactly where we are.
Our history: Starting off as simply the Yuuzhan Vong empire the horde took its first step towards minor faction by being something that had in the past failed this site we continued forth as a race of desperate stragglers of the collapsed Yuuzhan Vong empire. We started in an ironic place, the ruined technology filled planet of Belgaroth there the Yuuzhan Vong overlord known as Dredge learned to be become more accepting of technology and the benefits it had of keeping his people alive. To him all of the Vong were dead or scattered into the wind and they were the only ones left. So it was decided by the overlord that they would reveal themselves to this galaxy by sending out a distress becon from a ruined ship that had crashed years ago. Then shortly after people arrived to see what had become of the them. Once they had convinced a young sith knight to join their cause they used her and the ship she owned to begin recruiting and rebranding themselves into a more organized power.
It became increasingly obvious that staying in their current position on Belgaroth was not a good idea in the long run. So breaking into the banks of the abandoned planet the Yuuzhan Vong took all the money they could and purchased a few ships to transport them to a world where few Vong life had been known to exist. The warrior known as Shimmra Rapuung and the HRD Break lead the pilgrimage from the ruined world to the planet lost in time known as Echidna. Upon arrival on the planet the Yuuzhan Vong decided that the empire was no more that bringing back the old ways could not be done in this new galaxy. There were too few Vong and they would die if they were to do so. So with the choice being made to abandon the tittle of the Yuuuzhan Vong empire they choice the name The Horde. A name that encompasses all from the lost alien species in this galaxy to the humans who wish to join their ranks. All are welcome in the horde and though some Vong find it hard to let go of the past they choose to move on and create a power greater than the Yuuzhan Vong ever were through a united galaxy under the banner of the horde!
