Hey all, so here's the scoop. My 8 year-old son was born with cerebral palsy, seizure disorder, and severe reflux. He's been in the pediatric ICU for a week now with pneumonia, and as I type this I'm waiting for the doctors to prep him for surgery because his left lung isn't responding to treatment, and they need to go in to try and get it cleaned up. That being said, I'd love to try to get some posts up as Jack and my other characters, but my head isn't feeling very creative at the moment (probably because I haven't slept much in a week). Since all we've got is time while he heals, I'm hoping I can allow myself to get distracted enough to post some, but if I don't I'll get back to you all as soon as I can, because I miss this place.

The boy's home from the hospital (n fact, he's sitting next to me right now!), and I'm back in business. I'll be posting everywhere my alts & I are due as quickly as possible. Glad to be back!
