So I bet everyone says this but I'm new to the site and really exicted to be here since I love rping, especially Star Wars. I haven't actually ever rped on a star wars site before but I have rped with other places and themes so I hope I'm not too out of place. Besides I'm really into star wars so I think I know what I'm doing lol.

I just have a quik question involving my character, Surana. I want to make her something of an army offical like admiral or general but I'm not sure if I'm aloud to start off that way or if I have to build her up to that point. If anyone can let me know thank you, otherwise I'll have to work with what I got.

Most factions only regulate their FU ranks and not their NFU ranks, so find a faction you like and hop aboard.

As for a specific question, basically choose one of the major factions here: http://starwarsrp.net/groups/ and go see them. We don’t have any restrictions on IC ranks people can start with, but have a chat with your faction of choice and see what they’re willing to grant you. I’m sure they’ll be most accommodating, as Admirals and Generals are relatively rare, as opposed to Force users or politicians who dabble.

I'd suggest the Galactic Republic. They could use Admirals or Generals in their war against the evil Sith.

Well, lets start with Canon ones.
You got the Republic, the Sith, which are divided between the One Sith and the New Order and lastly for canon factions, you have the CIS.
Now for factions on this board.
You have the Fringe, the Omega Protectorate, the Morros Crusade and the Horde, though the Horde is more for Vong and things of that nature.
