PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
  • Classification: Railgun
  • Size: Extremely Large
  • Weight: Extremely Heavy
  • Ammunition Type: Artillery Shells
  • Ammunition Capacity: Average
  • Effective Range: Battlefield
  • Rate of Fire: Average
  • Damage Output: Extreme
  • Recoil: Low
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Hexalloy Railing: The rails of the HH-E02 were constructed from a highly conductive, highly durable hexalloy material. This meant that the HH-E02 could fire more shots, more frequently, and with lower maintenance costs than competing mass drivers.
  • Multi-Turn Helical Bore: HH-E02 emplacements made use of a series of an intricate helical design with multiple "turns", courtesy of their Xi Charrian contributors. It made the emplacement something of a cross between a standard railgun and a coilgun. This ensured a high degree of accuracy, improved power regulation, and gave delivered ordnance more staying power.
  • Stabilization System: HH-E01 emplacements featured an individualized, comprehensive stabilization system developed by the cooperative's Fondorian engineers. It consisted of a series of gyroscopic stabilizers, which in turn were supplemented by impact-reduction gel. This reduced the demand for targeting adjustments during the heat of battle and further improved overall weapon accuracy.
STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES

[ + ] Advanced subsystems made the HH-E02 a state-of-the-art mass driver, capable of striking with impunity and functioning without cumbersome technical issues..
[ + ] The HH-E02 could be installed in both planetary emplacements and on spacefaring vessels.
[ - ] Ammunition required to supply the HH-E02 was often expensive, extremely heavy, difficult to transport, and prone to running out during prolonged engagements..

DESCRIPTION
Wrought within the cathedral foundries of Hune-Haor, the HH-E02 was a time-honored concept: a railgun mass driver, only brought up to the exacting standards of Hune-Haor Engineering. E02s were suitable for both planetary emplacements and capital ships.
The E02 featured a number of proprietary features to ensure an advanced, robust, and all-around reliable design. This included a uniquely specialized material composition, a comprehensive stabilization system, among other things. It was outpaced most of its immediate competitors, though it was not without its own drawbacks - largely of the tactical variety.
Reloading the HH-E02 was a cumbersome process that required more specialized ship or installation subsystems to compensate for. Moreover, the ammunition needed to load HH-E02s was cumbersome to transport and store. The storage areas themselves often represented explosive risks as well, if not properly positioned and cared for.
Due to its size and power needs, the E02 could only be mounted on planetary fortifications, military space stations, or capital ships. Land vehicles, even so-called mobile fortresses, were not compatible with the E02.
All Hune-Haor designs carried a fanatical attention to detail and dedication to quality simply not found in rival brands. This was, among other things, one of the benefits of working openly with the forge-cults of Charros IV and Fondor, and secretly with a cabal of Sith engineers, whose contributions were attributed to the Silver Shield Group's research and development team.
