Hune-Haor Engineering is a cooperative entity established between a star-cult of Fondorian Shipwrights and the Xi Charrians of Charros IV. Under the auspice of the Commerce Guild both parties work together on a wide variety of projects. Many of these are funded directly by the Commerce Guild for personal consumption, but with the intent to boost the margins of their export criteria into the wider Galaxy. From starship components to vehicles and fully-fledged starships, Hunge-Haor Engineering combines the refinement of Fondor as well as the technical aptitude of the Xi Charrians.
Since both sects are psychotic pulsar and blackhole-worshipping cultists whose religion consists of manufacturing starships, their union proved fated. The Fondorians are primarily relegated to design, while the Xi Charrians focus on hand crafting each and every component. Within the great cathedral docks, the Hune-Haor Foundry Priests stroll about, blessing the production line, while QA baptizes the final products.
The cooperative's main manufacturing centers are located on Fondor as well as Charros IV. Both locations have dedicated shipyards, but whereas Fondor's specialize in large capital warships, the ones on Charros IV excel in more refined and smaller operations. Examples range from sub-capital corvettes to starfighters and more aerial-based vehicles like gunships. In the meantime it operates a shipping hub on Brentaal IV, to ease the import of important ores and resources through Azimuth Industries and other Commerce Guild-aligned concerns. Lastly, its administrative headquarters is situated on Denon. Since the firm is overseen by the Commerce Guild and formed by two equally-influential philosophies, it was determined that a more neutral location would be best for its administrative operations.
Through the use of these four locations Hune-Haor Engineering is perfectly placed to manufacture and export its products throughout the Galaxy.
RATIONALE
The Commerce Guild realized they needed a steady supply of ships, but no reliable supplier of them anywhere in sight. They did not complain about this. Instead they took it as an opportunity to diversify their own portfolio. Utilizing the connections the First Bank of Procopia and Azimuth Industries made on Fondor, combined with the Xi Charrian connections of the Silver Shield Group Research and Development Division, they created a combined entity called Hune-Haor Engineering.
