DESCRIPTION

The Hexus Pattern Long Ranged Missile Launcher a capital grade missile launcher designed to provide unmatched long ranged strike capabilities for Hexus Contingent warships. The launcher is made up of a pair of launch tubes and an autoloader mechanism, making it able to rapidly launch its full magazine and destroy its selected target.

This weapon is particularly suited to use against targets that are unaware of the Contingent warship's presence, as its long range and lack of a significant energy signature before firing gives it excellent ambush capabilities.

The launcher is fitted with an independent sensor system that can link to a wider ELINT (Electronic intelligence) system, allowing for safe targeting without the need for line of sight. This allows the missile launcher to tune its missiles' guidance systems for specific scenarios.
