The Unchained
Welcome to Chaos! If you're looking for Dark Side stuff, The Brotherhood of the Maw is making big moves, and they are led by the New Sith Order (though they have other dark side groups like the Sorcerers of Rhand). As for criminal factions, there's definitely a few to choose from. The Eternal Empire and Ashlan Crusade both have criminal subfactions (Black Sun and The Midas Web), and there's other groups such as the Kraken Coalition and The Exchange. All depends on the flavor you're going for. Have fun on Chaos, and feel free to hit me up if you have any questions

The Darkwire is another fairly well-known criminal group as well, though they're no longer a major faction. Another person is making a new version of the Pyke Syndicate as well.
