DESCRIPTION
With some success being found with their Large Caliber Ammunition Series and their other previous ammunition lines the Hekler'Kok design team began looking for another product to further diversify their product line. They decided to do this by creating a line of mortar shells they could market with their already existing and soon to be existing products.

To do this they began with the first step in their process: deciding on the materials to be used in the shells. The basic outer jacketing of all the shells was chosen to be Durasteel for its both cheap price yet durable construction. This would be the only material standard to all the types of shells.

Next they needed to decide on the types of shells they would design and the material that would be unique to each one. The first shell was a no-brainer, a high explosive variant that used baradium as its main explosive charge. The second shell was decided to be a fragmentation shell, made with a small core of detonite surrounded by over 1,500 4mm durasteel ball bearings. The third shell was designed to be a illumination variant, using a parachute flare to illuminate the battlefield. The fourth and final shell was created to be a smoke/incendiary shell, it utilizes a phosphorus charge that can either provide smoke cover or incendiary effect depending on the circumstances.
