- Mothership. The Lernea-Class Carrier can launch a massive swarm of starfighters and bombers, capable of overwhelming any foe in void or atmospheric combat, while they can also deploy their dreaded swarms for devastating aerial assaults against ground targets.
- Narrow-barreled. The Lernea-Class Carriers have sacrificed most of their deck space to host huge numbers of shuttles and ships. Without enough space left, their armaments are limited and can prove a weakness, should they are not escorted by gunships, or heavier armed warships.
The Lernea-Class Carriers are durasteel behemoths of doom. Their port and starboard sides marked with several round gates that open their reinforced, ray-shield protected hatches only to unleash their horrifying hosts. Hundreds of shuttles and fighters fly away from their bellies, ready to rain a storm of morale-tearing hellfire upon the foe, commanded by the great warlord-captains that reside onboard the high palace-bridges, while the cultists of the Crimson Star Circle perform dark sacrificial rituals at the depths of the massive warship, calling upon their Dark patrons to grand the numberless pilots the glory of victory, while their lord rests atop the very palace-bridge, in deep Battle Meditation, to lead the Athysian swarms through the carnage.
